Estie is Beyond amazing and my hair has never looked so beautiful in my whole life. He is a miracle worker.

Came in today to see Michelle for the first time she’s truly an artist at her craft she’s so knowledgeable she explained everything to me made sure I understood the process of coloring my hair she did a great job she was able to correct the color and haircut someone else had ruined I was debated but Michelle was able to work with what I had and made me look fantastic go see her she’s the best !!!

Every man needs a hair stylist, Bahar is awesome at what she does! The best service ever! Found my new place and highly recommend to others!

Estie has been doing my hair and makeup for over 25 years and only 2 times has anyone else touched my hair, and that was in LA. i won’t trust anyone else never it! he’s fun, sweet, professional and i trust anything he recommends. his color and cuts are always perfect. at this point i pretty much just sit down and let him do whatever he wants to do! his makeup application is flawless too. he spends a lot of time with a lot of layers of colors and techniques although it always still looks natural. i’ve followed him to many shops over the years and swagg salon is a really nice one. it’s big and bright and clean. even though it’s downtown I’ve never had a problem finding street parking. in the event you can’t find one they do offer valet for just $ 5. i highly recommend Estie to make you look amazing always!

Bahar is amazing!!! I showed her a photo of the hair style and color I wanted and she created the exact same thing for me!!! I’m extremely picky when it comes to my hair and Bahar went above and beyond to make me happy. Thank you Bahar!

Very disappointed with this Salon. Poor customer service, and major attitude from stylists. My friend came in to get her extensions done by Bahar and booked her appt. 2 months in advance. She came to get them put in and didn’t get a direct stylist that she asked for. 3 hours later, she wasn’t even ½ way done. The stylist performed several services on other clients and she was told to wait. When something was said, no one seemed to care and we got yelled at for watching. I never write bad reviews for anything, but we were upset that we would get this bad of service. We had a whole day planned.

I have been coming here for almost a year now because of Nick. Im so glad I ventured out of supercuts and barbers and finally figured salons are where its at. Serioulsy Nick, is amazing I will be coming here for as long as he decides to stay. They also have a Valet outside that is only 2.50 if you use the Salon.

Read the great reviews for Behar and made an appointment. I was a little nervous as Id never been to a stylist that at least someone I knew had been to but SO glad I did!
One of the best colorist and hair stylists I’ve ever been to and Ive been to a LOT… She lightened my hair exactly like I had in mind and the cut and styling were amazing!
Just can’t say enough good things about her and on top of it a lot of fun to talk to.

I have been going to Gloria for almost 8 years. She always does a beautiful job with color and cut, and is so much fun to talk to as well, it is always a treat to walk through those doors.

Nick is an amazing Hairdresser, he really listens to his clients and goes above and beyond to give you your desired look. I went to him as a referral from a friend and it is now a year and half later. I go in once a month to get my haircut and every time he is a pleasant, easy person to talk to and asks the right questions during his consultations. The salon its self gives off an industrial chick look and is on the second floor with beautiful lighting shining in from the floor to ceiling windows. Parking is a little difficult at times, as it is downtown so everywhere is metered parking. Show up a little early to find a good spot, I personally have never had any problems with the parking but it can be a hit and miss for most.

I love Gloria and I love Swagg Salon! I have been going to Gloria for years and followed her when she opened up this location in downtown. The Salon is clean, modern, feels open and inviting. I always get great service and enjoy my time there. I decided to go light and layered for my latest cut and color. I think it looks great taking into account that I have very dark thick hair. NO MORE RED! Bless you Gloria, you’re the best!

My sister and I are from Arizona and every time we visit San Diego we make an appointment to see Bahar. She does the best balayage and also does an amazing cut! She really listens to what you want and delivers great hair every time! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Every time I call this place, no one answers. A generic answering machine always picks up that doesn’t even say the name of the salon. I leave my number and never get a call back.

This review is for Bahar. She is fantastic and I don’t trust my hair with anyone else. I switched it up and went a little lighter. I’ve been getting compliments since I walked out the door of Swagg.
The salon itself is super cool. Modern, chill and up on all the latest styles.

whoever is the receptionist here deserves to be fired. I called to try and make an appointment and she couldn’t understand one word I said and I was so frustrated that I ended up hanging up on her and called to make an appointment somewhere else.
to whoever the owner is here, you are losing out on business because of this woman. if I were a stylist here id be so upset by her lack of customer service because I am one less client because of this

I needed to get hair extensions and its not easy finding a good stylist in san diego. I had been to a few places in the past and wasn’t happy. I finally found this girl named Bahar who works at this salon and she is really freaking good and priced well also. If you call this salon I would highly recommend asking for Bahar.

I have been going to Gloria since 2004. She is THE BEST! Always listens, but knows my limits. I have never had a bad cut/​color. Love her!

Nathan is a master. He works hard to make sure your hair is done well. Takes his time and doesn’t rush. Gives one heck of a head massage too and is fun to talk with!
The place itself is a little hard to find, but once you do, it’s clean and nice.

El mejor salon de todo san diego!

I don’t often spend money on nails, but when I do, I want it to be an experience and I want my nails to look special. I went to Swagg Salon on a Saturday at noon to get my first shellac nails. Parking was surprisingly easy, right in front! The moment I opened the door for Swagg, it was beautifully decorated and felt very «high-​end.» I was immediately greeted warmly and taken back to get a manicure by Tiffini.
I felt like a guest in Tiffini’s home. She offered me water or coffee and immediately made me feel at ease. She asked me what I wanted done and I showed her a picture I found on Pinterest with glitter that started at the base and went halfway up the nail. She immediately went to work and gave me the exact look I showed her. She picked up all the little details from the photo. Tiffini is so friendly and easy to talk to the time went by so quickly. She took her time and caught all of the little details that other manicurists in the past were in too much of a hurry to care about. I will definitely see Tiffini the next time I want to get my nails done! Thank you Tiffini!
