This installer for 3 Day Blinds is the worst. Put these two companies together and you have a recipe for disaster. 3 Day Blinds messed my order up and it took 7 times and over 5 months to finally get valances that some what fit. The Sundown tech during each attempt keep saying they would inspect the product before rescheduling and he would make sure he was the one to come back to install. Each time when they called to schedule they hadn’t inspected the product. Each time it was a different tech, who didn’t take the time to read the history notes. I had to explain everything all over again. Even the manager came one time and he wasn’t any better. Come to find out there is high turnover at this place, the last time the tech showed up he didn’t have the product and thought I had it, he couldn’t reach the warehouse and said I would have to reschedule. While he was still at my home, I called and got right through. He had some lame excuse as to why he didn’t put the product on his truck and since he had already committed to another customer I would have to reschedule. Really after all the failed attempts and countless time of the tech calling to say they are going to be late, he now wants to reschedule. After speaking the Carla she told him he would have to pick up the product and return. Product problems is certainly 3 Day Blind issue, but the scheduling, installing debacle belongs all to Sundown Blinds. I would never recommend this installer.

I have partnered with Sundown Blinds many, many times for blind installations and while I understand that in all home improvement industries, installations can be a pain, I think they do a pretty good job. Scheduling many different people can be a daunting task, made more difficult if you are at the end of the day and they are running late, etc. The installers do a good job, the office staff is efficient and friendly.

Yesterday this company were suppose to install my blinds for my slider door. I made the purchase through 3 Day Blinds. I assumed they installed them as well. My appointment was 8 – 12. Finally at noon I called the number on the e-​mail with the information and after sitting for 15 min was told some one would call me right back. Didn’t happen then when calling back it went straight to voicemail. I finally called 3 Day Blinds customer service and she knew another number and reached them who said someone was ill and they hoped to be there by 3:00. Finally a call came in at 2:00 saying he would be there soon. At 2:45 he arrived he was very nice and knew what he was doing however unacceptable I was not called in the morning. I have let 3 Day Blinds know about the problem. A whole day wasted for me.

they are the agent for 3 day blinds. very disappointing! it didnt take 3 days like their name. more like a week and a half. so far i had for 2 years, it has been broken every year. and repair takes forever. 6 weeks already and it is still not fixed! very hard to get someone on the phone as well. so they advertise that they could make one in 3 days but to repair would take 2 months? i might as well go with the cheaper companies.

I was passed off to Sundown Blinds after three months of trying to have installed the right rings and brackets for panels I purchased. You get nothing but bad attitude from the scheduler and lots of excuses about how Three Day Blinds messed up. This company needs to take a look at their customer service representatives, and take these reviews seriously. I am not the only one that has received bad attitude that included whining about Three Day Blinds.

As a contractor for 3 Day Blinds, these folks seemed really nice and friendly when I dropped off 2 blinds for repair under the 3 day blind warranty. They indicated that it wouldn’t be longer than a few weeks.
After a month with no contact, I called and learned that when the string they ordered from 3 day blinds arrived for my blinds it was the wrong color and that they had to re-​order. I wish they contacted me about it, as I would have been happy with any color. Little did I know.
After several months, and having my calls never returned. I turned to 3 day blinds for assistance, after all it was there contractor. Well I have been working with them for a month too, and I have never, ever heard back from the Sundown folks.
Eek! Me thinks not.

While we still are not fans of 3 Day Blinds, Paul at SunDown has been GREAT. Make sure you ask for him if you have any service, or installation needs.

SunDown Blinds and Design Group was recommended by a friend. The owner was courteous and thorough… leaving no questions unanswered. I was impressed with their timeliness and professionalism. Not sure why Don N. gave such bad review.

OK, so after living with the same ugly and increasingly broken mini blinds for the last few years, I finally decided to do something about making our condo beautious again. A friend of mine referred me to Sundown Blinds and after talking to one of the owners about what we wanted, I was satisfied that they’d be able to handle the job.
They came by our place and measured the windows and even talked me out of buying blinds for a couple of our windows that didn’t need new ones, just a good cleaning of the old ones. Who ever heard of that?
I’m not sure why Don N. had such a different experience. I had none of the the problems he cited. They returned our phone calls promptly, seemed to know exactly what they were doing and couldn’t have been friendlier.
Now, having used 3 Day Blinds in the past, I can certainly understand being upset at 3 Day, but Sundown was a breath of fresh air for us. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for great prices, service and a pretty darned good selection of stuff to cover your windows once you’ve outgrown the queen sheet nailed to the wall!
