Stretch U

So, so good. Came in here with serious hip pain and walked out of my first appointment considerably better than when I came in. I was beginning to worry that a trip to the doctor might have been in order, however after just one visit, I can tell that Stretch U is going to do the trick to alleviate my pain. Joe was phenomenal, knowledgable, and made me feel very comfortable in his care.
Logistics of getting an appointment were great and simple, no troubles at all. Great place all around. If you are on the fence, give it a try, you will love it. Many of us work hard in the gym, but we forget to get the TLC the body needs to allow us to keep going.

Went here on a groupon and by the second visit I was hooked and bought a package. I sit all day at a desk, and even though I am very active when I’m not working my hips are so so tight! Going here has helped my hips so much. I feel like my posture is better every time I finish my appointment! Some people ask why I go there when I can stretch myself, the thing is I will never give myself a good enough stretch to heal my tense muscles. I encourage everyone to try Stretch U!

They’re constantly late, no show, appointments cut short, unorganized, have constant scheduling problems, their website doesn’t book the appointment you select, customers get a different tech frequently so it needs to be explained to them where the problem areas are because they don’t take notes; if they do take notes they’re not reading them or passing on the info. Not all the techs stretch you equally, some just blow through your appointment giving you little benefit while others are do a good job. (Keep in mind, this program isn’t tailored you your specific needs, it’s a general program that they use each time you go in.) When they make an scheduling error they don’t do anything to correct it, they just say, sorry we don’t have you on the schedule we can’t take you, we don’t have time, even though you show them your confirmation which they sent. Several of the employees are rude when you tell them & show them the confirmation. They behave as though a member is a stranger walking in from off the street when they’ve made a scheduling error. When this happens, a member is crud out of luck, you don’t get your appointment. Plus, if you have appointments you didn’t use and you cancel your membership you don’t get a refund for the unused appointments. The owner, Joe, is far from helpful and not polite, nor did he ever try to get me in when it was clearly their fault. He was aware of the problems but he didn’t do anything to correct all these issues. I was not the only one with these issues as other members voiced their problems out loud while they were laying on the tables being stretched while I was there, saying they were having the same issues.

I am addicted.
I am a physical therapist myself and am always in need of body work but like the rest don’t necessarily need a full physical therapy session and need to get in quick.
I work daily and am so busy I often forget to stretch enough.
The Stretch U family has been great, they know their techniques. It’s a friendly environment and I leave feeling like a new person every time.
If you know you need some body work done, sit too much, are an athlete or just a hard working individual everyone can benefit from stretching especially if you are not sure what the best stretches are.

You pretty much come here for an incredible stretch. I live in NY and have never experienced a place like this. I found thisnplace on groupon and booked it pretty easilly. You pretty much come in and get stretched out as advertised. You will feel really great afterwards! Highly recommended.

I found this place through Groupon and had an extremely good experience! I had bought a Groupon for 4 sessions (20 minutes each). For my first session, a young lady helped me and she was great. She put me at ease as this was my first time and I did not know what would happen. She walked me through it all. She recommended that I do a 40 minute stretch for my next visit so I signed up for that. John helped me on my 2^nd and last session with Stretch U. He was very friendly and we had a great conversation which made the time go by quick.
There is not a lot of privacy in this establishment as it is just the glass panel so people from outside can see what is going on. The place is very spacious with 3 stations. Each time I came with an appointment so I started on time and ended on time. I went on Friday toward the end of the business hours, so that was helpful both on my schedule and the schedule they had.

Had a great first session today with Coby. I purchased a Groupon and will definitely continue their services in the future. It didn’t bother me that the tables are out in the open. It’s exactly the same as a physical therapy office. It’s easy to make an appointment, and they are open 7 days a week which is awesome for me. There was plenty of parking too.

I found this establishment through Groupon and I’m so glad I did. I am a stay at home mom and yoga teacher so I am always in need of a good stretch. I’ve been seen by Denny and Coby and they are both awesome! Super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I am recommending this place to family and friends. If you’re wondering about trying this place out, don’t hesitate– give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

I found this place via Groupon and had an extremely good experience. The young man I had did a good job and knew what he was doing as he used most of the techniques I experienced in physical therapy.
Granted there is no privacy while stretching however this is comparable to PT or the chiropractor. As most services are performed in one large open area. I’m getting ready to schedule my next appointment.

I want to start by saying that I am a fitness instructor– boot camp, lifting, barre, Pilates and I love to take yoga classes. I am educated about the body. I have done tons of different types of stretching hoping to recover my bad knees. I’ve been doing a lot of research on «proper» and «most beneficial» stretches. I purchased the groupon for Stretch-​U and went in totally jazzed hoping they could help. I got exactly what I was needing. I went home and was able to run 4 miles before any pain– something I haven’t done in 6 years!!! The staff was friendly– the place comfortable and very clean. Pricing very reasonable for what you get. I’m encouraging all my friends and clients to get over to Stretch-​U. It’s safe stretching, feels great, and it’s WAY more effective than any traditional stretching practice.

I found this place on Groupon. I bought the deal, tried it out, and ended up buying 5 sessions. I’ll admit I was skeptical about buying the sessions because this is just stretching right? I stretch at the gym all the time at and my desk at work. Anyways, I am glad I bought the sessions because by the second session I was feeling much better on my back and I actually cancelled my physical therapy program. Buying these sessions turned out to be cheaper in the end than going thru PT. A lot my sessions was done by Liz (if I remember correctly, is her name). She was very nice, very informative, funny, and helpful. I loved talking to her during my sessions and she really did make a true, honest, effort in helping me with my back. I definitely recommend her if you come here.
Also, I saw in another person’s review that privacy can be an issue. Yes, they do not have private rooms or cubicles, maybe they should? But the setting didn’t bother me.

Just a warning — there is no privacy provided while you have your stretch session. That made me very uncomfortable, especially since there is a huge window at the front where anyone walking by (this is a strip mall) can look in at you. I can’t speak to their technique because once I saw the setup, I cancelled my appointment and left.
I had bought a Groupon deal, but now it looks like they won’t refund my $, even though I have no plans to use their services. I lose.

I recently visited Stretch U after getting a Groupon gift from the wife for 2 sessions.
I was procrastinating and after several months I decided to call them to found out what it all included and got really excited as I’m all for a good stretch.
Stretch U offers different type of stretching one on one sessions that targets different parts of the body, I really enjoyed my session and the staff was really polite, professional and courteous.
As soon as I arrived at my appointment a lovely young girl explained what my first session would consist and made sure I was comfortable while she was stretching my lower body.
They accept walk ins so no appointment is required but they do encourage it
This place is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking.
I really consider this as lazy yoga as you sit in the table and they do all the stretching for you.
I’ll definitely check them out again.

Took my son to get stretched maybe 6 times it was ok…

This place is the answer to my laziness to do yoga! All you need to do is relax and let them do all the work. Great staff, very professional and awesome to talk to while you get stretched all over the place! :)

What a joke!
I bought a groupon with high hopes… and left feeling overwhelmingly disappointed.
There was not one thing my stretch «technician» did that I could not accomplish on my own. She did not hold the stretches for extended lengths of time, introduce any new stretches, or provide me with the deep stretching I had anticipated. I’m not sure if there is even training involved for the employees as they did not seem to have any more knowledge than the average person about how to stretch, the benefits of stretching, or which stretches would help with different areas of tightness/​soreness. The session was brief and I did not feel any more limber after my session.
Overall, the experience was a waste of time and money. I won’t be going back for my 2^nd (3^rd or 4^th) session. I can sit on my carpet at home and accomplish the same thing. How do places like this even stay in business???

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I bought a Groupon to this place. I’m happy to report that I was impressed. A very simple concept, but a needed technique if you have any aches and pains… or like me, just have some flexibility issues. Company got its start in the midwest and I can see it growing in popularity here.
The technician I had was one of the owners I believe. Very personable and gave me a great summary of the business. I bought 2 sessions here, but may make it a regular part of my health and wellness régime.

Not a great second appointment impression. Spent over 5 mins on the phone trying to book an appointment for 2. I thought it was a success till we showed up. And I’m sitting here waiting for my friend to finish up… they screwed up a simple apptmt. Can you get a refund on a groupon? Although, the guy I did see my first visit was awesome… Their apptmt setting could use work.

This is a great way to hit all the stretches you can’t get yourself. They will stretch you from gentle to intense, depending on your needs. Super friendly, helpful.

Ok so at first I was skeptical when I saw this on Groupon… but hey, it was near work and sounded like just the thing I needed after 12 hours if sitting on my behind. Since I’m not at all I shape I just wanted something that would make me feel like I could move through the rest of my day without making me want to collapse. This is perfect.
I’ve been coming here for three weeks now. Once a week on my work Friday and getting my stretch done. I feel great! I feel like I actually WANT to move and more importantly CAN move around easier.
Nick is great… friendly, courteous and does not pressure me into buying more sessions.
I plan to continue after my groupon sessions run out! You have got to try it!
