Joshua Bonas did such an amazing job at our wedding, we couldn’t be happier! We first heard Josh play at En Fuego and knew after listening to a few live songs, that we wanted him for our entire wedding. Josh was so easy/​accommodating while planning the wedding/​choosing different songs. He was able to bring a relaxed feeling to our wedding (which my husband wanted) but also added a beautiful/​elegant touch (which I wanted). He played during the prelude and processions during the ceremony, and the acoustic guitar (Canon in D), as I walked down the aisle. All while it was 105 degrees outside (hottest day on record for October)! He also played the guitar during our cocktail, and we received so many compliments of how good he was. One of my most favorite memories of our wedding was when Josh sang/​played our first dance live– Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban. Josh kept the dance floor packed the entire time! All I wanted was a DJ that knew how to keep the party going and Josh nailed it! We highly recommend Josh, he is extremely talented and so professional. We look forward to listening him at En Fuego in Del Mar on Wednesday nights and reminiscing our wedding day.

I have been to at least two weddings where Still Listening has been the musician/​DJ, both times I was blown away, so I knew we had to have someone from this company for our wedding! We hired Collin Elliott to be the musician/​DJ for our wedding, after attending a wedding he performed at and later seeing him perform live, and we could not have been happier with this decision. He is so so talented!
About a month before the wedding we asked Collin if he had ever played a certain song acoustic; he quickly got back to me and told me he hadn’t but he loved the idea so he was going to put something together and send it to us. Well, the final product was AMAZING and we ended up having him play it for our first song. Everyone RAVED about him and told us how much they loved him during the ceremony and cocktail hour when he was playing acoustic. He was spot-​on on the DJ side of things too. Everyone was out dancing and having a great time.
We also felt Collin went above and beyond his duties as our DJ. He was super involved in the reception process and made sure everyone knew when they would be dancing or giving toasts. I felt like some of this should have been on our coordinator or someone from our venue but they were no where to be found. Collin really made this a smooth process… I’m not sure what it would have been like without him there. We will definitely be recommending Collin and Still Listening to other friends that have yet to get married or are in the planning stages.

We hired Lee Coulter for our wedding this weekend and he was a hit! Every single guest asked about him and complimented his guitar and DJ skills. I had to ask him for his card so I could give it out to my guests, thats how fabulous he was! The music was absolutely wonderful, he played everything we wanted and more! He also learned «Can’t Help Falling in Love with You» by Elvis for when I walked down the aisle! Not a dry eye in the house!!! I really cannot say enough good things about Lee. Seriously, stop looking for your DJ and live music, and hire Lee. Right now. I am pretty sure the next three family weddings within this year are going to give Still Listening Productions a call to book him; he was that impressive! If I could give him 10 stars I would!

Michael Tiernan created an atmosphere at our wedding that was amazing. He played live music during the ceremony and the cocktail hour, our guests are still talking about it and what a great musician he is. He was the DJ for the reception and had the older and younger generation dancing on the dance floor. He really felt the crowd and knew how to keep it fun until the end of the night. He is very experienced and so easy to work with and just by our requests, he really understood what we liked and the tone of the evening. I would highly recommend Michael to anyone that wants the best experience at their wedding.

Michael is absolutely amazing! We never thought we’d want a live musician but that was one of the things we had at our wedding that was so different from other weddings we’ve been to. Our friends and family were amazed with Michael’s performance and have been asking how we found such a talented musician (White Lace Events & Designs introduced us to him!).
We actually went down to see Michael perform at En Fuego and got know him a little bit before the wedding. Right away he started to understand our style. In fact, we told him we loved R Kelly’s Remix to Ignition and he played the acoustic version for us that night — that’s how talented he is! We told him we wanted Better Together by Jack Johnson as our first dance and he offered to record it for us so that we hear what it would sound like. And, the very next day he sent us the recording! It was perfect! While he offered to make any changes we requested, we never did because it was already perfection. We also told him we wanted to incorporate 1−2−3−4 by the Plain White T’s into the wedding and he recorded that too! Basically, if you want him to hear a song before the wedding, just ask and he’ll perform.
It’s been a month since our wedding and we are finding ourselves making trips to En Fuego just to hear him preform… keep in mind that En Fuego is an hour and a half south of us and on a Wednesday night nonetheless! Basically — hire Michael, he’s so talented and you’ll be glad you did!

Tolan was absolutely amazing. A coworker of mine recommended Still Listening Productions as our wedding DJ, so my now husband and I checked out the website. We were looking for someone to play at our ceremony as well as DJ, and we fell in love with Tolan’s voice. So much that we had him play one of his original songs as the bridal party was walking out. Tolan played as our ceremony musician as well as our DJ throughout the night, and I cannot tell you how many people have complemented me on both. He set the mood for a beautiful ceremony with his wonderful guitar and vocal skills, and then created an unparalleled dance party when it came time for the reception. Even my wedding coordinator complemented me on how easy and professional he was to work with. I had a beach ceremony followed by reception all outside, and Still Listening Productions provided all the equipment needed making my job a lot easier.
Still Listening Productions has everything you need to create a memorable wedding, from talented guitar/​vocalist to crowd pleasing DJ’s. Tolan exceeded our expectations and we could not be more thrilled that he performed for us at our wedding!

I recently coordinated a wedding where Collin provided live guitar as well as DJ services. During the pre-​ceremony, the ceremony and cocktail hour he played guitar and sang. He has such a cool style and an awesome voice. During the reception he DJ’s and once the dancing got started the dance floor was packed for the rest of the night. I have done a lot of weddings and never really seen a DJ maintain that level of engagement from the guests as Collin did. To cap off the perfect night he brought his guitar out to play and sing live during the sparkler exit as the bride and groom ran off to their getaway car. You would not be sorry to hire him to DJ your wedding!

This is so late and over due, our wedding was September 20, 2014! Was the best day because of Collin!!!
Our first dance was just incredible, I can’t get over it, Collin’s version is seriously the best! Collin’s version of «Forever» is amazing. We got our wedding bands engraved with «Forever» on them! The first email we received was this song sang by Collin, so we could hear his voice and determined if we liked it or not, well we fell in love with it and it just so happens that my husband and I would always (and still do) say I love you, forever and ever… so it was just all meant to be! We had Collin singing and playing guitar during cocktail hour and then our first dance song, then we had him DJ during dinner and the rest of night. Also, after deciding on Collin and wanting him to sing «Forever» as our first dance song, he mentioned that he plays at Rancho Valencia sometimes and invited us to come and listen to him on Valentine’s Day night there, so we went and got to watch him perform some songs and we even requested if he play «Forever» for us and he did, so sweet of him, it was amazing and we even got to meet his mother… so sweet :) On our one year anniversary we were in our hotel room and my husband played Collin’s version of «Forever» and we danced… so special to us!
Thank you so much for making it so special! As well, thank you for playing amazing songs during the DJ part, everyone had a blast and I’m sure you saw that I pretty much never left the dance floor :) It was so much fun! As well, thank you for that little special live song at the end, that was awesome!!! Thank you for everything that day, you are the best and you are so talented, I’m so glad we found you to play at our wedding!!!

Michael Tiernan played at our wedding and it was the best decision that we could have made. Everyone was talking about how amazing he was as well as his band. He had everyone dancing on the dance floor from grandparents, parents, to kids.
Back when we were trying to decide on entertainment, we could not decide if we wanted a band or a dj for our wedding but then our wedding planner suggested Still Listening to us because they can do a band/​dj combo. Not knowing this was possible we went to meet Michael and hear him play live. We decided on the spot to hire him for our wedding!
We started the day off with Michael playing guitar with a violinist at our ceremony. They killed it by playing a variety of music such as Bruno Mars, Marry Me, to John Legend All of Me, mixed with some classic wedding music, country, and old school songs such as elvis. After the ceremony, Michael played and sang at the cocktail hour with a pareconist. For our first dance, we had him dj because we did a choreographed dance, but he sang live for our father/​daughter and mother/​son dance which had a lot of people crying tears of joy with his versions of the songs. For dinner he DJ and then once dinner was over it was time to get the party started, so we had his band come play for 2 hours. Let me tell you, this was the guests favorite time! He had everyone dancing on the dance floor including my grandma! It was so much fun to see everyone smiling and singing along not just in our crowd but for the band as well. Still Listening played a variety of songs that were from old school, 90s, 80s, country, and pop. One of my favorite songs was when Michael busted out «Manlyer» Swift– Shake it off! It was amazing to see everyone one look then say this is the best band ever! Having them play our wedding was the best decision that we made! Michael was truly amazing and I don’t think our guests and ourselves would have enjoyed our night as much if he was not there. He knew what songs to play to get the crowd going and then when to slow it down. I have never had so many people tell me that day and call me days after to say that we had the best band they have ever heard at a wedding! If you are looking for a band/​dj to do your wedding please look no further! This will be the best and easiest decision for you to make!

All I can say is that Michael is a total stud. I’m not all that great when it comes to music and he absolutely crushed our wedding. From the acoustic covers during the ceremony and cocktail hour to the pumping jams and closing songs in the reception. I honestly could not have wished for a better DJ at the helm of our special day. I will definitely be recommending Still Listening Productions to every person I know.

Michael was the first vendor we hired. He played at a friends wedding early on in the planning process and we knew we had to have him! Music, specifically good music, is a huge factor to a wedding and Michael did not disappoint. He played music for the ceremony, played and sang for the cocktail hour and all 3 dances (first, father/​daughter & mother/​son), then changed to DJ mode. He also provided some of the lighting and was way cheaper than the rental company. We’ve recommended him to everyone we know planning a wedding in SoCal, A couple of our friends have already hired him. He is pretty great!

Absolutely amazing! My wife and I decided early on that a good DJ/​musician was the most important thing for us when planning our wedding. Thankfully, Michael Tiernan was recommended to us! He was personable, professional, and best of all, an incredible performer. Michael played guitar during our ceremony and DJ’d our reception. We got so many compliments about his performance and his MC ability. He kept in touch with us in the weeks leading up to the reception to confirm the music selection. Even sent us a video of him practicing our processional song! We had two of our friends sing at different points of the night, and Michael worked seamlessly with both of them. Catch one of his live shows in the San Diego area and you’ll be more than impressed with his work. He pours heart and soul into his music and you can tell. We couldn’t recommend Michael highly enough!

We hired Michael for our wedding, and we couldn’t have made a better choice! He played guitar and sang for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner, and he sounded amazing! Everyone was commenting on how good he was. Prior to the wedding, he sent us a list of songs he knows, and then we had a call with him to go over the songs we liked and the vibe we were going for. Michael even sent us a video of himself playing a few songs so we could hear what they’d sound like! For the dance party, he set up lighting to make the ballroom feel like a club, and then played really fun dance music all night. He also did a great job «MC’ing» the evening and keeping the flow going. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I were initially thinking of having a live band at our wedding however when Michael Tiernan was recommended to us we did some research, read reviews and knew we had to have him at our wedding. With Michael we found a good mix of live music and a DJ and were beyond impressed with his talent. He sang and played acoustic guitar during our cocktail hour and for our first dance, father-​daughter dance and mother-​son dance. Michael impressively learned these songs and sent us an audio clip before the wedding to make sure we liked them. I would argue that his renditions sounded better than the originals! Michael’s DJ skills kept the guests dancing and many of them commented on how great the music was. It was clearly one of the highlights of the night!
Michael worked well with the wedding coordinator to keep the timeline of events organized. He is a friendly, reliable, fun and talented musician who I highly recommend. You can’t go wrong hiring him to entertain at your wedding or event! We plan on watching him live when we are back in town.

We hired Collin Elliott to DJ our wedding on May 30, 2015. I initially communicated with Tracy Tiernan with Still Listening Productions and she referred me to Collin who works with her company. Collin was absolutely fantastic. He knew exactly the type of music that we wanted played and he kept the crowd going all night. Collin is an extremely talented guitarist and singer as well and he was willing to play his live music during our dinner hour and for our first dance. This made the reception extra special. Tracy was wonderful with communication and everything went smoothly during the entire process of planning. I would highly recommend still listening productions and Collin Elliott.

We couldn’t have chosen a better musician/​DJ for our wedding… Period. Not only do we personally feel that Micheal did an incredible job … Our guests couldn’t stop mentioning him! Not just days, but weeks after our wedding friends and family would mention how «amazing our wedding was, especially the music guy… He was ridiculously good!»
To say Michael Tiernan is ridiculously good is an understatement! He could not have been more on point, more personal, more in touch to exactly what was going on… As if he was actually a friend of the family. And the truth is, he felt just like that! He didn’t just play music at our wedding… He learned and remixed our first dance song, he played original songs but personalized them to the moment, he referred to everyone by name in such a natural way that our guests literally thought he knew everyone in our wedding party. He is beyond talented when it comes to playing live music and we felt so blessed to have a true artist create the energy of our special day from beginning to end.

Still Listening Productions is an extremely professional and well run company. I was referred to them by one of my friends that is a photographer and it was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. They worked with my budget and were so responsive and attentive during the entire wedding planning process. Jonny Tarr was our musician and DJ at our wedding last weekend. USE HIM! He is simply amazing. He is so personable and probably one of the sweetest people I have ever met. He was always available via phone or email to visit about wedding music and was so accommodating even with last minute requests.
I recommend SLP 10 000% over and over.

Michael did the music for my wedding in January, 2015, and everything was absolutely perfect. He played live during the ceremony and cocktails and DJ’ed/MC’ed for dinner and dancing. Great guitar playing and singing, excellent song selections, great MC personality, and he kept the dance floor hopping nonstop! People were asking me and my wife throughout the night, «where’d you find this guy?» When that’s a recurring theme of the night, you know he was a hit.
Michael was very helpful in the planning phase, too. We had only a general idea of how we wanted the music to go, and he was able to take what little we gave him and work with us to create a full plan for the whole evening. He even put together a special version of The Police’s «Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic» for the ceremony and sent us a recording to review before the wedding. (Needless to say, it was excellent.)
Michael’s talented, helpful, laid back, and very professional. If I could give him 6 stars, I would. Just book him already.

Michael Tiernan was highly recommended from our wedding planner, Paige at Bliss Events, so we decided to meet with him and we do not regret it. Just WOW! Michael ended up taking care of the music and the lightning for our wedding.
I’m from France and my wife from Ecuador, so it was tricky to incorporate different styles of music but Michael nailed it. On top of that, he played all of our ceremony songs as well as all of our dances himself and he was so good. Music was great, he’s an amazing singer and entertainer too, he’s so talented! It doesn’t get any better than this people, if he’s available, hire Michael Tiernan today — you will not be disappointed. The price is right and even lower than other companies that were doing less than Michael.
