Steve’s Detailing of San Diego

Live in San Diego and when I need to detail my car this is the ONLY place I TRUST!!! Last time I went my cute FIAT 500 had paint spray spots in the back and right side and although I washed it on my own several times, they would not go away. Enrique did an amazing job in taking them all away and bringing back the beautiful shining color. He also gave me tips on how to keep the paint looking fresh and clean. I recommend Steve’s Detailing also if you want to put an extra coat of protection to your car. They are very professional, nice, as the name says, «detail oriented». I can assure you, the final result will be amazing and you won’t need to go anywhere else anymore!

Had a great experience at Steve’s Detailing. Brought my car in after a long while of not having washed the outside, vacuumed or cleaned the windows… it was pretty dirty. Enrique was so nice and took care of my car and it ended up perfect! I got the basic wash for $ 25 and was not disappointed. I can’t believe how great it looked and how clean everything was. My floor mats were spotless and everything was wiped down well and I could see so clearly out of my windshield! Not to mention the outside looked like a brand new car. I will definitely be back.

I have had my cars detailed here several times and I thought it was about time to write a review. The guys at Steve’s do a fantastic job. I get my C7 Corvette detailed here once every two to three months and I am always satisfied with the job they do. In addition my wife and daughter also get their cars done here and are equally impressed. I’m not sure why the one poor review says they are overpriced as I find them very reasonable. I am a nut about keeping my car clean so if they satisfy me I’m sure you will be happy too.

I went here to have my Ford Fusion’s seats cleaned along with an interior detail.
These guys are way overpriced and are doing hurried work that will damage your car.
The seats in my car are made from post industrial repurposed cotton fabric. The fabric is very soft to the touch and very comfortable but not resilient. I warned the detailers to be gentle to the seats.
They scraped up my drivers seat. There are three broad stripes of abrasions where they were either too rough on the cloth or the steam cleaner was too hot.
I also noticed some minor lacerations and the cloth is pilling up on the back seats which wasn’t there before.
They did not take responsibility for the damage or offer me a discount. They even asked me to pay $ 25 MORE than agreed when I called in.
I would stay away from this place unless your seats are leather, leatherette, or synthetic fabric (nylon or vinyl).

I am now going to have TWO reviews in a row but that’s fine; I want everyone to know what happened when I drove my car home nine weeks ago. The GOOD news is that my car never looked so good — the BAD news is that my wife wanted HER Lexus SUV to have the identical treatment! So… an appointment was made and her car went for a trip to Steve’s. A-N-D…they didn’t disappoint. The 10 year-​old car looks brand new — inside and out. These folks deserve high-​fives for another splendid job. I don’t know how they manage to make a vehicle look brand new but they do — every time. THANKS A LOT and know you’re truly appreciated!!!

I’ve been using John at Steve’s Detailing for over 7 years. Before that other details I’ve had were good. Steve’s are GREAT…
I believe their detail last longer.
I always feel like I’m driving a new car again.

If you take pride in maintaining the look and value of your car, there’s no better place to come then Steve’s. I get my car washed here every 1 – 2 weeks and I wouldn’t trust my car with any other place. The workers are friendly and really take the time to make sure your car is spotless. $ 25 for the basic wash is well worth the money, I’ve taken my car to places that are $ 6 and I would get no where near the service and care I get for 25 at steves, you get what you pay for! The products they use here are high quality, nothing like the cheap stuff they use at other places! I always recommend Steves to my friends.

Service here is pretty good. They know me by name now. They are a little pricey ($ 20 for a wash) but it is convenient to work. I’ve had them fully detail my car as well. They are good and have good attention to detail MOST of the time. There have been times when it was clear the effort was not there. (That person is no longer working there, I noticed)
