Description

Specialties

Our knowledgeable team is here to care for your animals while you are at work, at play, or far away. Each pet care professional team member is fully insured, has had a background check, and is either an experienced veterinarian technician or has been certified in pet first aid.

While other pet sitting services are frequently staffed with students and part-timers, Stepping Out is a team of animal professionals with extremely low turnover. During your first consultation, you will meet with your pet care provider (PCP) and we’ll work with you to establish a long-lasting relationship of trust. We will cross-train one additional PCP in the event of an emergency, but your pet sitter will be consistent.

History

Established in 1993.

Looking for a pet care provider (PCP) can be nerve wracking. Rest easy, all PCPs that work with Stepping Out Pet Care are professionals and have extensive experience in the pet care industry. Each PCP has exceptional references and is fully insured.

Prior to starting your service, one of our independent representatives will contact you to arrange a convenient time to meet you and your pet (s). This is our opportunity to become acquainted, answer any questions and address concerns. Your PCP will ask you to walk them through what you would like us to do for your pet, «a day in the life.» They will go over the paperwork to fill out, discuss detailed instructions, and acquire keys and explain how invoicing and payment takes place.

For this, and all future reservations, feel free to contact your independent pet care provider directly by phone or email. It is very important to understand and communicate the correct dates, days, and times the care is to be provided. Don’t be surprised if they
