Starbucks

First the good:
1. It’s convenient-it’s located inside of a Vons and the Vons is located in a central location.
2. It’s almost never crowded.
3. There’s a moderate amount of seating.
4. There’s A/​C (well, of course, but this Vons is particularly cold, and I like that!)
The bad:
1. They were out of a lot of supplies, and especially the most basic and necessary: cups. They were out of the grande and venti size when I visited. WTF?
2. Customer service is severely lacking. You expect Starbucks to be pretty good on that, just by default, but man, the customer service here at this Starbucks sucks. (Not a reflection of the customer service at Vons, they rock!)
3. The drink I got was eh. That’s definitely subjective though so YMMV.
4. There was some issue with my Starbucks card where I couldn’t add money on it through them at this location (but I could have at the other Starbucks not far from this one), it was really inconvenient. This was also another WTF? moment.
The reason I gave it 1 star is because I think excellent customer service and having basic supplies is (or should be) a top priority (see: necessity) for most businesses.

The coffee is the standard delicious Starbucks coffee. The customer service is no good. The women that work there are VERY condescending, not only to me, but every other customer that they assist. They also love to carry on their personal convos while assisting customers, every time! As a person who works in customer service and values it, this is just very unprofessional. How about a warm genuine smile, and appreciate the business of your regulars. The only reason I come to this Starbucks is because the Starbucks one block away is always so dang crowded. This one, never. I just wish for minimal interaction with the women when I get my coffee, just so I can leave in a good mood.

This is the Starbucks located in Von’s on Washington Ave. Many people probably aren’t even aware that there is a legit Starbucks inside Von’s that isn’t a coffee shop that brews Starbucks coffee. This is a full Starbucks service which provides you the best coffee anytime you wish. It makes getting Starbucks coffee that much easier.
For the quality of their coffee, I think it’s pretty self-​explanatory that Starbucks always produces excellent quality of coffee. What’s different about this location is that they have a large space of tables and even outside seating. Many Starbucks stores don’t really have enough space for people to sit and chat. However, because it is located inside Von’s, it has many large tables if you wish to do your morning reading there. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for studying simply because it can get really noisy inside Von’s. Lots of movements and people walking around in the grocery shop so it can get loud at times. In addition, it also has parking on the ground floor with Von’s so you don’t need to worry about parking like other locations. After all, it is not a bad idea to have Starbucks in Von’s!
