St. Didacus Catholic Church

Rude people. At least, the woman at the door was. I’ve been interested in returning to Church, so I go up here and the lady at the door sees me coming towards her but she turns away. Puzzled, I ignore this and say «hi» as an introduction and she says quickly says hi back before turning away again. I just continue and say, «Do you know what ti-​» «6.» abruptly turns away again. Like, wow, beyond rude. And she was talking animatedly with a guy before me so I don’t know what her problem was. She wasn’t even busy. Just standing there waiting to «welcome» people in. I just look like a normal student (pants, jacket, good hygiene, nothing even flashy), so I don’t know why she would act that way, or why she thinks it’s okay to act like that towards others. Definitely enough to throw me off returning here. Then again, I might just come just to piss her off, but probably not. Lord knows she definitely needs the church more than me.

Hey guy who wrote this previous review do not write a review you don’t understand and one that reflects not one aspect of the church. Should voting be done in a church no maybe not I wont dismiss that, but anyone looking for a church should go here. My wife and I looked long and hard for a pastor that was open minded yet real with the faith. FATHER MIKE is that. if you have an opportunity go to the early mass on sunday at 8:30, he represents everything you could ask for in a pastor not just a guy who’s trying to push rhetoric but an intelligent independent that teaches the true words of Jesus Christ which is acceptance, forgiveness, and love. His homilies are often stories of his work in Mexico (he speaks Spanish), how other religions like Judaism, Islam, and Buddism are more like us then different and how these differences should not be devicsive but more a means for us to better understand each and every individual on this planet. It killed me to see the previous post was the only review being that Fr Mike and St. Didicus is possibly one of the greatest environment’s I’ve ever been in. Good people, good music, and good dough nuts afterwards, go check it out. And previous guy, this church is cool enough to be transparent with their financial situation and yeah no taxes for a parish that provides for its people and hundreds of children, and countless more families and individuals around the world sounds about right to me.
