The Sparks Gallery represents contemporary artwork and fine jewelry from artists living in San Diego.

Located in the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego, the Sparks Gallery is housed in the newly restored historic Sterling Hardware Building, between Island and Market on Sixth Avenue.

History

Established in 2013.

The Sparks Gallery represents contemporary artwork from artists living in San Diego. The Sparks Gallery encourages patronage of local artists, while supporting San Diego’s growth as a strong art community.

Located in the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego, the Sparks Gallery is housed in the newly restored historic Sterling Hardware Building, between Island and Market on Sixth Avenue. Architects Hanna Gabriel Wells were chosen to design the new space and Wilson Construction spearheaded the 2-​year restoration of the building. The building is now also available for San Diego event rentals.

Sparks Gallery represents local professional, emerging, and student artists. This gallery will make a great influence to the San Diego art community. It is great to find a place where their focus is the local artists. The gallery is located in the historic Sterling Hardware building in Downtown San Diego which can make visiting this wonderful gallery very pleasant as you can go make a trip and enjoy the shops and restaurants in the area. Looking forward to the reopening of the gallery in early 2015.
