Sparkling Clean Coin Laundry

Seemed like a clean place but my comforter came out dirtier than it was when it came in. Waste of money.

Decent place to do laundry. Only downfall is a lot of machines are «out of order» not sure how long they have been but at least 10 machines.

I have driven past this place for about 16 years. I was finally in need of a laundromat and came here. It is a great little place. Clean and inexpensive. There is also an attendant most of the time. I have been back a couple of times.

Very clean and safe environment! Jose and Dan do an amazing job maintaining the machines and cleanliness of the facility. The prices are very good and I love the large 50 pound commercial washers for washing my large sleeping bags. They have all sizes of washing machines to fit your load size. 711 right next door is a great place to grab a snack while you wait. Free wifi makes it nice to entertain kids while you wait.

I came to this laundry because the one I used to use closed. Boo hoo However, to my surprise, this laundry is wonderful! I met the new owner on my first visit and he was very, very helpful. I could tell that the previous owner had let this place run down but the new owner is working very hard to keep the facility clean and catching up on the machines that had been broken and never serviced.
As someone else mentioned, it would be great to have two change machines in case one broke down in the middle of doing laundry. Also, just a tip… On the weekends the Waffle house is open so parking is tight in the early part of the day.
But overall, this is my new laundry home. Oh, by the way IF a machine breaks and «takes» your money, he responds ASAP with a refund!

I don’t go to laundromats often (there’s one machine in my building), but when I have a lot of laundry to do or one of my neighbors is using the machine and I want to get my laundry done, I go to a laundromat. Typically I go to Sunshine Laundry on 1^st Ave and Ivy which is just two blocks away.
Yesterday I had to do laundry and had errands to run in the Point Loma area, so I did my laundry here, and it was a way better experience than what I’m used to. I think I’ll drive here from now on rather than going to Sunshine.
Lots of parking here, I was able to get a spot right in front of the laundromat which was nice.
Free wi-​fi, the network name and password are posted inside the laundromat.
Prices WAY lower than Sunshine. Single load is $ 1.50 here, $ 2.50 at Sunshine. I don’t remember the double load price here. Triple load $ 3.50. And quadruple load is $ 4.00 (compared to $ 6.75 at Sunshine). Dryers give either 7 or 8 minutes per quarter, depending on which one you use (Sunshine is 6 minutes per quarter).
While I was there, the employee came in and was cleaning the floors, machine tops, and folding area. He was very friendly and asked if I needed help with anything, and seemed to know all of the «regulars» doing their wash there.
The reasons I give this laundromat 4 stars instead of 5 are that a lot of the dryers were out of order (but there were so many of them that I didn’t have a problem getting all of my clothes in dryers at once) and there is only one change machine, which I think could cause problems if it’s ever out of order or out of change (although the owner seemed very meticulous, so it’s possible that it’s always kept stocked and in good working order).
I’ll be back to do future laundry here. Works out to be less expensive than doing it at home (whereas Sunshine costs more than doing it at home).

This laundromat is definitely getting better. Ample parking. New owner has really improved this laundromat. Free dry Wednesdays are great. I hear new professional wash and fold is coming soon.

This place is terrible. Most of the machines are broken, the soap in the vending machine is wet an clumped together. one of the machines ate my money. The bathroom is padlocked shut and when I called for assistance, my call went to voicemail. I will never do laundry here again

Great Place! Very clean. Also very affordable. Definitely a huge step from the last owners. The Fluff and Fold service is awesome. I leave my cloths there go about my business and come get them when they“re ready care free. It’s a load off my back.
