I have posted two reviews for this «business» and yet none appear anywhere, what’s up with that Unilocal?Suffice it to say, this franchise owner shouldn’t be dealing with the public and we want his turf removed so we can have it done correctly by another company. In the end, our lawn is removed and done the right way by another company. Hasten to that end. Everything else is just a temporary fix. Unilocalers, you come here for the truth so scratch this company off of your list. You’d be wise to get a new lawn from anyone, and I mean anyone other than Jason Richards, the owner of Southwest Greens. Jason won’t even return a call once I had «paid in full» my customer experience became a nightmare. There is zero integrity from the head down and that leaves me with practically nothing to work with. It also calls into question the lawns «warranty» as a warranty is only as good as the man giving it. My entire family has called repeatedly and left messages with the delightful receptionist Nancy. All of our calls were ignored for over 3 months. Our «salesman» John lied to me. He said he was sick and that he would come fix my lawn when he was well. Over a month went by and he never kept his word. I thought he might have died so I checked and he’s fine and still employed here. My entire neighborhood of aprox. 300 homes will NEVER use SWG after walking by our house and asking, «who put that mess in?» We are all connected by email, so we don’t repeat problems like I’m having. This franchise owner doesn’t stand behind their product after installation, once they get paid they are history and good luck getting them to do anything. To just get a call returned, we had to file a complaint with the Contractors License Board. The board required him to CALL us and as he was writing his response to my complaint, he finally picked up the phone only because he had to. How can a business operate like that? Our grass was put in on the cheep, allegedly a man was fired the day he worked on our yard. If they could make a mistake they did. After 4 weeks our front yard looked horrendous because it was full of weeds. Thousands of weeds everywhere, they even appear to grow out of the seems. You can see exactly where the rolls were spliced together thanks to the weed lines. I researched fake grass and waited and watched for 5 years as many friends installed it before I did. Not one of them has had this many weeds to contend with. I have a a depression or a valley in my lawn because the worker did not turn off my sprinkler system as I had asked him to! The company just wants to continue to apply pesticides inches from our ORGANIC fruit trees. I’m on a quest right now to find out how I can legally block SWG from applying weed killer without our consent. Consider this your first «cease and desist» notice Jason Richards and do not ever think you have permission to spray chemicals on my property. On my first call I was told to go buy and apply «Round Up», so other customers have this problem and SWG has a standard answer. Twice, that we are aware of, the company has come back to pull the weeds or make it look better. I just happened to spot two men working on my lawn this week, so I went out and had a pleasant chat with them. I would ask that from now on, before you do anything on my property please have the workman CALL to announce their presence. You are on private property and with the integrity factor we’ve been shown, you need to call before you set foot.

These guys are absolutely awesome … we had a really ugly backyard that was actually just a big slab of concrete. Thomas, our sales guy, was wonderful to do business with from the minute we met him. He didn’t try to upsell us, he showed us a ton of options, and he made us confident that Southwest Greens would do a great job for us.
And he sure was right … Thomas showed up several times on installation day, and even came back the next day to perfect everything. It already looked perfect to us, but he fine tuned things a bit. His crew was polite and capable, and they really did a beautiful job.
Excellent pricing, friendly service, and they exceeded our expectations which is rare. Bravo, Thomas and Southwest Greens!
