Business Owner
Jason acquired Solar Alliance of America in June 2015, and is focused on the customer experience at scale. He also founded Finavera as CEO in Ireland in 2003 and built a diversified energy company focused initially on natural gas, wind energy and wave energy. In 2005, Finavera was split into Finavera Gas and Finavera Renewables. Jason became the CEO of Finavera, taking it public on the TSX Venture Exchange. Jason led the development of renewable energy technologies and over 1,000MW of grassroots wind projects in Europe and Canada to mature development projects approaching construction. He has led the asset sale of a portion of Finavera’s wind development portfolio to Florida Power and Light (NextEra). Jason was invited by President Clinton to become a member of the Clinton Global Initiative in 2006 and is currently an active member in advancing the fight against climate change on a global scale. Jason also serves on the Bretton Woods Committee in Washington,
