Highly recommend Jeff and his son. Demoed my old fence and installed a new 24 foot vinyl fence in 2 ½ hours bam !!! Asked Jeff to be kind to my artificial grass. He covered it up and when finished they were on hands and knees making sure nothing was left. Jeff even returns phone calls and shows up when he says he will be there. Very rare to find. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Jeff stepped in and finished third side of my backyard fence after previous fencer got squirrely. Price was competitive, done on time and efficiently and matched the previous fencer’s work seamlessly. Could not be more pleased with work and highly recommend So Cal Fence.

Working with Jeff and the crew from SoCal Fence was great! When I called, Jeff got back to me right away to schedule an appointment for measurements, then returned a quote within just a few days. Jeff even helped us work out an agreement with our neighbors to share the cost of a new fence. Once Jeff and crew arrived on site, they efficiently removed and disposed of our old fence, and within a matter of days we had a beautiful new fence around our yard. At the same time the SoCal Fence team installed the same type of fence for our neighbors! It all looks fantastic! We had a great experience with Jeff and SoCal Fence. He worked with us remotely (we live in Napa and have a rental property in Mission Valley) and sent pictures along the way. He worked with our tenant’s schedule and cleaned up the job perfectly. He even did some extra work the day of and only charged for materials. We will definitely use SoCal Fence again.

Our fence is beautiful! Working with Jeff Jones and his team was a great experience and I highly recommend them. From the first time we met, Jeff has been nothing but professional. He gave us a quote and schedule and there were no surprises. He contacted us a week in advance to confirm the appointment. They were on time and at the end of each day’s work there was no mess, just new vinyl fencing. Jeff responded to any questions or concerns I may have had immediately. Jeff and crew did a great job on our fence. He coordinated with our neighbors and began the work fairly quickly after we called. He was also willing to come back and make minor touch ups as requested. The price was great compated to the big commercial businesses. Love to support a local business in our own neighborhood.

I was very glad to see a photo of my fence here on Unilocal because I think (admittedly I’m biased) that it is the most beautiful fence in my neighborhood. Jeff and his team did an outstanding job.
I was pretty particular about the look I wanted to achieve, and Jeff did a great job of translating my description into a plan (we went with redwood with Canyon Brown stain, cap on top.) The finished product was beautiful and functional. The quality was evident in the details, such as staining the wood prior to installing it. The two gates are also terrific, well-​made, and well balanced.
I got estimates form three fence companies that were all well-​rated on Unilocal,and though I liked all of them, overall Jeff’s price was the most competitive and I felt he was very responsive to my needs. One of the complications of my project is that I was splitting the cost with the owner of the neighboring apartment complex (the fence went along our shared property line) and had to work with the property manager for approval on various aspects. Jeff was very patient with this process.
I did have some issues with a few of the fence boards not being totally secured (either the nails/​staples didn’t go in right or they were never put in at all.) But I called Jeff about my concerns and he came right out and fixed all the little little problems. Overall, these problems were minor compared to the scope of the project and Jeff’s excellent responsiveness and customer service made up for these minor issues.

We love our new fence! It is not falling all over the place, and it is not green, which is exactly what our old fence was not. This is all thanks to Jeff and his son, who were a pleasure to work with. Responsive, friendly, reliable, and a high quality result. What more could you ask for.

My wife and I struggled to get 3 bids for our 100′ fencing project. Lots of time was spent playing phone tag with the big companies and the folks that actually showed up to give us an estimate were unimpressive. So Cal fence answered my call and gave me an estimate the very next day. Their bid was not the lowest, but the confidence that I gained from meeting Jeff and his son Dave was priceless. These guys did a great job, delivering even more that they promised, completing the job on time, with results that were flawless. We had some water tanks installed on a pad in our backyard that is exposed to an alley and wanted to get a fence built quickly. We received a first estimate with lots of items optioned out from someone else and thought that it seemed high, although we didn’t have a reference. So we called So Cal Fence Company and got a second quote. He was much less expensive and very competent and friendly. He was able to get started sooner than the other guy too, which was what we wanted. We came home at night to find the fence done and were surprised at how nicely they had framed it (at one level even though our fence has a 4 ft step-​up) & they even covered the posts with extra boards. It looked great even though we ended up choosing a standard fence! Plus he put on the latches and the pins on the gates which was great. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding, I highly recommend them!!!

These guys were awesome! They listened to what I wanted, and did not disappoint. I’ve recommended them to all of my neighbors to help make our street more presentable.

My wife picked these folks and we are really happy, they came quickly and gave us an estimate which was reasonable, they not only put up our chain link fence but straightened our neighbors chain link fence as well and all was finished in 2 days. My only very minor complaint was searching out all the metal clippings that were left on our hill after the fence was put up. My wife was very happy that they did not damage any of her plants. The guys who came out were all very friendly and I would recommend them, in fact our neighbors are having them install their new fence as I write this.

Really the best fencing Business out there. They provided me with great customer service and a really nice product. My new fence is the talk of the neighborhood. They are very efficient and punctual and get the work done in a timely manner.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Jeff and his son, David. I love Supporting little Mom’N’Pop sort of businesses like this! Jeff was very easy to talk to and we easily envisioned together my new deck and garden retainer in my backyard. I had no idea how much hard work and creative energy needs to go into something like that. I’m really happy with the finished product. The free estimate was a bonus. His price was reasonable, his attitude pleasant and cooperative. He did everything I asked and even came back and re worked my gate when it wasn’t what I expected. They are conscientious and I will use them again for my arbor and gate.
