Smrtdog’s vision is to improve the human-animal bond. Education is the key to learning how to improve the communication between humans and dogs and strengthen the relationship at both ends of the leash.
History
Established in 1999.
Smrtdog provides educational information, based on current scientific research regarding what we know AND don’t know about dogs. Our training classes focus on practical solutions for people and their pets. Smrtdog helps owners achieve their training goals.
Smrtdog uses positive reinforcement techniques to provide you with the foundation and tools you need to build a lifelong partnership with your dog based on mutual trust and understanding.
Smrtdog offers education on normal canine behavior, prevention of inappropriate behavior, creative problem solving, and humane, positive training techniques.

Jamie Bozzi, has been a Professional Dog Trainer and Certified Canine Behavior Consultant for over 15 years. She has consulted with pet owners, non-profit organizations, service dog trainers and local zoo personnel on a variety of behavior and training issues.
Jamie is a member of the Animal Behavior Management Alliance (ABMA) — www.theabma.org where she has been invited to present papers at ABMA conferences. Jamie is also a member on multiple subcommittee’s for the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers (CCPDT) and is is one of a handful of people chosen as a subject matter experts (SME) to assist and review test questions, as well as, marketing material for the national examination of pet dog trainers and canine behavior consultants. She participates in a national effort to educate the general public and further the dog training & consulting profession.
