I love Maja! I just moved to the area from the east coast and received a brow and bikini from her. As soon as she was done I knew I had my go-​to girl. So thorough, friendly and looking to make you beautiful! She’s the best!

I was referred to Maja for Brazilian waxes and am so happy to have found her! She uses a harder wax, which in my opinion is less painful and has less skin irritation (during and after) than the softer waxes, and has a really fast, technique. On top of that, she is very careful, extremely thorough, and has such a down to earth personality that my waxes are a comfortable experience.

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing Maja is. If you want top notch service, then you’ve come to the right spot. I was having an issue with my skin and she sat down & came up with a personalized facial to fit what I needed. Then to top it off, she checked on me a few times during the week after to make sure my skin was adapting well and if I had any questions or concerns. I’m still blown away. I have never received care like this from anyone. Not to forget to mention, she’s also an eyebrow genius. If you need any type of facial service, stop looking and just see Maja.

Went in for a long, relaxing facial to fix effects of stress and workouts on my almost-​40 face. It’s the next day, and my skin looks incredible! Took a few years off! Maja does better work than any big spa at a fraction of the cost. I will be going back.

Maja is Such a delight!!! Had a wonderful experience and absolutely love my eyebrow shape/​design work by Maja. I am part Asian and I have light eyebrows and color so she was able to tint them for me to avoid having to constantly fill them in. Love the results and will be going here from now on for my monthly brow clean up.

Maja was absolutely amazing. I have never had a facial before and was nervous because I thought it was going to hurt and it was painless! I was so relaxed and my face feels smooth as a baby’s bottom! It is also a very cute and clean place. I definitely will be back!

If there were 25 stars I would give this woman them all. There is no one I have ever met that has made my eyebrows look so gorgeous. I am very lucky that my sister had recommended Maja before my wedding four years ago because she saved them! She takes her time and wants you to look your best. She never rushes you, she responds to questions you have with ease and knowledge, and she can offer all skin care services that you could ever really need. I have received facials, micro-​dermibrasian, peels, and facials and she always makes me feel the most comfortable I can feel. If you have eyebrows that you don’t think you can do anything with because they won’t grow back, or they are just messed up beyond repair, Maja is your girl. You will walk out of the office feeling better about yourself because eyebrows and your face is everything! Can you tell I love her, she is AMAZING!

I’ve been going to Maja for almost 2 years now. Honestly saved my eyebrows! Maja really knows how to shape your eyebrows to your face. Prior to coming to her I had gone to some lady who practically left me two thin lines for eyebrows and Maja was able to reshape them and grow them out, with time of course :)!! And lady’s (or men) if you need any work done below she also does Brazilians. I had never gotten a Brazilian before coming to her. She makes it the least painful as possible, she talks to you during the whole time to help ease your nerves, and overall and surprisingly makes it a really comfortable experience. And her Brazilians are really affordable. At least the lowest I’ve ever heard them for. I’ve heard horror stories from other people when it comes to Brazilians but honestly none here. I found Maja after my friend who gets her eyebrows, Brazilians, and facials by her recommended me to her services. Now I recommend her to all my friends. I’m one of those people that once I find someone or something I love I refuse to go elsewhere. So check her out! I love her she’s great: D!!!

Miss Maja is amazing — I really don’t know what I’m going to do if I leave San Diego! I started seeing her because a good friend gave me an awesome makeover before I got married and insisted I needed my eyebrows done (I never had before) among other things. I was very pleased with all the waxing services (face and body) and have seen Miss Maja since — through pregnancy and all. Kind and honest, a clean studio, friendly and funny. She makes you feel comfortable and I think we always wind up laughing at some point. In a scheduling pinch I’ve had to see other estheticians but I just wind up leaving wishing I had seen my regular girl –Miss Maja. Their techniques and standards just never seem to meet the high bar that Miss Maja has set!
My regret is that for over two years I’ve been seeing this brilliant esthetician for waxing only. Though I don’t indulge so much in the skincare side of things for my next pregnancy I think I will tell my husband by letting him know he needs to send me off for a «mommy to be» facial with Miss Maja :)

I’ve been going to Miss Maja for the past three years. She does a wonderful job and I would recommend her to anyone. I don’t trust anyone else when it comes to my skincare. Always enjoy talking to Miss Maja during my sessions. Her studio is small but it is impeccably clean and comfortable. Her rates have only increased a minor amount over the past few years and I find it to be the best value for her awesome services.

I have been coming to Maja for over four years. She is amazing at the services she provides and is hilarious. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for waxing services. I know some people have mentioned her prices aren’t the greatest but we often pay for what we get. Her prices are very reasonable for the quality of services you receive.

Unprofessional with a BAD TEMPER!!!
I’ve been a loyal customer to Maja for years, with a standing appointment every month for a wax. I’ve also referred several people to her because she was good and used to be cheap. But after years of a perfect track record, I made ONE mistake with one of my payments and she was so unbelievably DISRESPECTFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL. When I tried to explain what had happened, she obviously didn’t understand what I was explaining and then proceeded to be outright degrading. To a loyal customer!
Some exact words from her nasty text message was «you may want to speak with your mom about it or another experienced grown adult before you screw someone else over.» And «you came in being sneaky giving me a check that would bounce.» Why the hell would I screw someone over and then proceed to go back to her two more times — where the payments obviously went through as usual?
Clearly, Maja will not value you as a customer, no matter how many years of business you’ve given her.

I THOUGHT I had some nice eyebrows… but not until Miss Maja got a hold of them did I find out how truly beautiful they could be!
I have been going to Miss Maja for about 2 years for Brazilians (more on that down below, no pun intended).
One day I asked her after a Brazilian, «Do you happen to have time for eyebrows?» She said «YES! I finally get to do your eyebrows!»
Maja had never pushed me to do my brows. She let me know the first time I saw her for Brazilian that she also did brows but I figured I have nice brows so why bother… it wasn’t until I saw the brows of a friend of mine that Maja did that I thought «okay, maybe I should treat myself»…
The transformation was incredible. Maja is a perfectionist and she loves what she does. So the experience was great (first time ever having my brows done) but even better was the reactions I got from friends… I said nothing about the brows but no less than 6 people in the next few days commented on how beatiful my brows were and how it opened up my face.
Maja is precise! She takes her time and she is truly an artist!
If you want a REAL eyebrow grooming, this is the person to go to!
As for the Brazilians… I;ve been to half a dozen salons and individuals for waxes… Maja, hands down, is the best! Again, she is a perfectionist and she make you feel SO comforatable bc let’s face it, a Brazilian can leave one feeling a bit vulnerable but Maja puts you at ease immediatly.
Her new place is also great! I do prefer it to her previous place bc it is very quiet, relaxing, and peaceful.
As for price, she is very competitively priced and also remember, you get what you pay for… she is a true professional!
She does not rush but she gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Also, she is ON TIME! I am busy and can’t stand it when a person over books and makes me wait! Maja doesn’t stack appts.
This is THEE best place to get your eyebrows and Brazilians done.

I have been going to Maja for almost 2 years now and she is the best waxer I have had! She was a referal from two of my friends and we all agree that she is amazing, professional, and a perfectionist! She really taylors the treatment to your liking. Also, my eyebrows have never looked better!

I had a facial here after buying an online deal. I don’t get facials often so I can’t see myself returning. My overall comments for the studio are the following:
Cons — tiny tiny place. Her entire studio is one little room in a big building. It’s her office and her treatment room. So when you are waiting for your appointment, you are waiting in the hallway of a lot of other salons. The room pretty much fit the table and her chair and the sink in the back.
Pros — Miss Maja was very friendly and helped me relax. I enjoyed the hour experience. Parking was easy and it is located close to my house. The products she used did not irritate my skin, which often happens.
I booked the appointment in August but wasn’t able to get in until December. It worked out for me because I wasn’t in a rush to get it done.
Not the best facial experience ever, but well worth the online deal and one-​hour of relaxation.

Maja is amazing! She has reasonable pricing, a comfortable studio, and a talent for waxing and massages. I enjoy my time with her because our conversations are entertaining and sincere.
I would highly recommend Maja to anyone! She’s good at what she does! Her studio is also very clean and organized!
