When I was waiting to pay my co-​pay, one of the women (who was training) asked me to wait a moment while she consulted an associate, which was fine. The girl in the back at a desk said something along the lines of, «Oh, some people have *much* better coverage.» I think she had reddish curly hair in a ponytail but I could be mistaken. I was charged the $ 40 co-​pay listed on my insurance card. I asked if I would be billed any further. (Which would have been fine, had they been up front about it.) They said no. I received a statement for an additional $ 30 in the mail.
I had to call many times to get my prescription faxed to me. More than 3 times. Possibly 5.
It is more cost effective and a much more pleasant experience to go to Costco for an exam and prescription/​eyeglasses and contacts, and cheaper even without insurance.
The second star is only because the girl who fitted me for my contacts was super nice. Long straight blond hair in a low ponytail.
