YUCK! I was supposed to go to the Weight Management class tonight at 6:30pm on the 3rd floor and I basically drove in and drove right back out. The parking lot is scary looking and dark so I parked outside and walked to the front double glass doors. The outside of the building was in disrepair with a big chunk of the wall falling off, which means to me that if you can’t even maintain the outside of your building, I’m highly suspicious about the maintenance of your elevator so that was a no go for me(I realize that not everyone has this phobia, but for me that’s important). The first floor lobby was also dark, dingy and straight out of the 70s — not really a good impression of «San Diego’s Health Care Leader» as they say on their website. By the time I hightailed it back to my car I noticed that they had posted a security guard at the entrance of the parking lot. Very disappointing and a huge contrast to the lovely new facility in Del Mar — I won’t be going back to the Sharp Rees-Stealy Kearny Villa location — ever.

Busy PT clinic. I usually had good experiences with check in. There were a few instances when I was greeted with«do you have a copay?» Instead of a «hello». They don’t wipe down tables in between patients which is pretty nasty and wrong, so you may sit on other patients’ sweat. PT aides are pretty on point and helpful. John was my therapist. He was okay. I would go with another therapist if you have a choice as they all seemed a lot livelier.

Have been experiencing extremely rude and unprofessional behavior by receptionist Shauna — REPEATEDLY. And have also seen her talk to and handle other patients just as rudely and unprofessionally while scheduling their appointments, Scheduling PT appointments here is becoming a rather unpleasant task despite some excellent PTs in this location. I still do not understand why patients have to deal with personalities of receptionists who are paid to do their job. This location really needs to invest in a good, polite office staff as much as they have invested in getting great PTs.

Had PT with Kary, she is simply great, after 3 months of rehab I am able to play soccer and do other important activities in my life. She knows her business and she rocks! Chris and Leah PT aids were also awesome, super fun and lovely! I love the 3 of them and I want to take them home! Thank you for everything and I hope to see you soon… but not at PT :) Hugs! Manu
