History

Established in 2014.

Attorney Bob Semnar & Attorney Jared Hartman both used to be Public Defenders for Riverside County. They left in 2013 and started their own private firms. In 2014 they joined forces and co-​founded Semnar & Hartman, LLP focusing on representing consumer who are faced with debt abuse by collectors and creditors in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Rosenthal Act. They also represent individuals with Credit Report Disputes in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and as well as harassing phone calls in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

In 2003 Mr. Semnar worked for the personal injury law firm, Madison and Margolese, located in Santa Monica. In 2005, Mr. Semnar moved to San Diego County where he worked as an Associate at the Law Offices of Robert W. Jackson. In 2006 he graduated from the Trial Lawyers College, Mr. Semnar started his own law firm in San Diego where he focused on business litigation, civil disputes and criminal defense. In 2008, Mr. Semnar joined the Riverside County Public Defender’s Office whereby he represented over 2000 clients. In 2011, Mr. Semnar founded the Semnar Law Firm located in Beverly Hills and Temecula, California. In 2014 he co-​founded Semnar & Hartman, LLP representing individual with consumer rights issues.
