SE Collision Center

Got into a wreck in Aug. thought the dude that hit me totaled my baby. Well lucky for him it didn’t. Had it towed to SE and they gave me good news. My Scion FR-​S was salvageable. The left door, left quarter panel and the front bumper, frame and hood had to be replaced and straightened.
She was fixed in 17 days. Brand new. Manuel and the boys did an outstanding job!!! Kept me in the loop as to the progress of my repair. Had a few hiccups with their parts supplier but Manuel personally straightened it out.
Lifetime guarantee for all repairs. I had to put that to the test. My left front turn signal was not working. Took it in after work and after 10 minutes viola!!! Fixed. Good as new. No charge.
Never again will I go to another repair facility. SE Collision it the place to go if you need your car fixed.
Hope you never need them but…

Although I didn’t have any work done on my car, the exceptional customer service has left quite an impression. Manuel is a very patient, understanding and wonderful person, taking time out of his day to explain things to me that didn’t make sense. I am very happy that my insurance provider recommended this shop to me, and if I ever need anything done to my car in the future, this is the place I’ll be coming back to!

I just got my car back from SE Collision … after getting in an accident. They made it seamless and quite enjoyable. They handled my insurance claim, took the images and we’re always available when I called or needed anything! They did a fantastic job! Their entire staff is very friendly and works hard. They even completed it by my deadline and touched up a few things I needed. Excellent service! I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks!

Although I didn’t actually have my car fixed by Mike at S.E. He was more than helpful, the tow truck driver to me they were my only option for a body shop after I got into an accident late Friday night. And having most body shops closed Saturday, they towed my car to SE and Mike was cool enough to give me a general idea of what was wrong and how bad. I ultimately took my car to another body shop only for the fact of S. E not being AAA southern CA certified and wanting my lifetime warranty as a result.

I had some work done by SE Collision Center in September 2014 after a car accident. My insurance company suggested it, and I was very satisfied. I mostly interacted with Mike, but I’m not sure what his job title is exactly. Mike was always very professional and courteous. He took the time to answer all of my questions.
I should also mention that SE Collision Center gave me a ride home when I dropped off my car, and also picked me up from the rental car place when my car was ready. Talk about great service! While my car was being fixed they sent me update via email and text message. They even sent me photos. When my car was ready I was very satisfied. The work was impeccable.
I would definitely recommend SE Collision Center to all of my friends.

Great customer service! Very friendly! Excellent and fast repairs, my car was fixed in less than a week! They held it at no extra fee cause I was out of state when the repairs were done! My car looked brand new when they were done with!!! I highly recommend SE Collision!

I think its safe to say that having to go to a collision center inst fun because it usually means you got in some sort of a wreck but these guys took a stressful and aggravating situation and turned it into a good experience for me. Upon dropping of my car to get my front end repaired, I was super impressed with Anthonys professionalism and honesty. Like the previous reviewer, he was honest about certain repairs that wouldnt be worthwhile for resale value seeing how I was planning to sell my car in the near future. Through out the repair process, they were great about sending texts to keep me informed of my progress and a date of completion (cute texts too)! Upon picking up my car this evening, Mike was great and even stayed late (on a Monday) to help me with a few additional cosmetic details. Lets just say, I hope I am never in need of another collision center, but if so, I know to go to SE for sure. 5 stars guys and thank you again for turning a bad incident into a positive experience for me!

NEVER again. Went there for a simple car window repair. They couldn’t even do that. Two men at the front desk were rude and indifferent to my complaints. DON’T GO THERE.

This is the best, most professional body shop I’ve ever been to. (And I’m embarrassed to report that I’ve been to several over the years.) They are meticulous in their repairs and the paint is flawless. They even advised me not to spend money on a tiny cosmetic issue and I appreciated their honesty. These guys are just nice, honest and do superior work.

I’ve had a couple of parts painted through SE in the past 3 years. One item was an aftermarket fiberglass rear bumper and the other item (s) were a pair of OEM S2000 fenders.
SE did an amazing job on the rear bumper. I brought them my gas tank lid and they matched the 8 year old Honda Berlina Black paint perfectly. SE isn’t the cheapest, but they worked with my budget and did a great job!!! Since i painted the bumper, i had other cheaper shops paint other parts of mine and they didn’t even bother to match my gas lid that i left with them, only used the OEM paint code so the paint didn’t match.
So i decided to NOT go cheap and go back to SE when i needed my fenders painted. If you’ve seen S2000 fenders, they are huge and i would not want mismatched fenders on my car. So i opted to have SE paint it (travelled all the way from Orange County to San Diego to get this done!!!). This time i left them my original OEM fenders to match the other OEM fenders i wanted them to paint and, of course, they matched them perfectly.
I learned my lesson and i’m only going back to SE to have my parts painted!

Brought my car in for new rear bumper and paint and outside detail and was extremely pleased with SE all around — customer service, the repair work and the detailing were all above average and the rental car was clean and ready and equal to my sedan .
I highly recommend this shop, Cole and Elijah were awesome, keeping me informed and updated thru the process, which was reasonably quick and totally painless.

Horrible!
Granted, I went there years ago, before Unilocal.I ran across their PAID ADVERTISEMENT on Unilocal when looking at a body shop I really like.
I had SE do a restoration paint job on my classic Mustang. Almost everything they touched went to crap. They had the car for months. They couldn’t figure out how to put the window regulators etc. back together inside the doors that they repainted/​retextured. I had to tow it out of their shop because they literally gave up on the job. They had not reattached the header for the convertible top… so as I followed the car (which, by the way, was NOT painted the right factory color… again, they gave up and left me with a custard colored «white» car”) on they freeway, suddenly, the wind caught the top, which slammed closed, leaving a nearly irreplaceable ($ 500 used, when you can find id) part that wasn’t attached to fly into the roadway and be destroyed by other cars running over it.
I get sick when I see that place. RUN away from there as FAST AS YOU CAN!!!

I was recommended here by Essurance after getting backed into by a truck. They did an AMAZING job on my corolla. The whole passengers side was smashed, my mirror was shattered and the paint was just ruined. It thought it might be totaled. I got my car back four days earlier than expected and it looked brand new! They also fixed a huge dent and scratch from a previous accident for $ 200 (I was originally quoted $ 750 at Caliber). They also got me a rental car in about ten minutes. Everyone was so nice and helpful and made getting my car fixed a surprisingly pleasant experience.

Not sure why all the reviews are so negative. Took my car in for repairs (some idiot took a left turn into me) on a Monday Morning, they had a rental car available for me on site (AAA coverage) and had my car back by Wednesday afternoon.

After getting rear ended in late October I took the recommendation of the insurance company to get my car fixed here. Although the repairs were fine, it took a few weeks (at least 3 – 4 days longer than initially expected). Since the estimated completion date fell on a Wednesday and SE Auto didn’t have my car complete until the following Monday I was told by the rental car company that I would have to pay extra days for the rental. While I fought them back, they agreed to bill the insurance company since SE didn’t have my car complete.
SE Auto told the insurance company that the car was complete on Friday (according to them) even though they didn’t have my car ready for me to pick up until Monday.
I had to pay out of pocket for 2 ½ days of car rental (Sat, Sun, ½ Mon) because of their error.
While you asked me via e-​mail to post a good review on Unilocal for you and get a free car detail the next time my vehicle ends up at your shop, I WILL NOT.
I won’t use their services again, bad recommendation.

My insurance company referred me to these guys and it worked out really well. The staff was friendly and professional. I received emails with the status of my car. The repairs were completed timely, even right before the holiday. When I picked my car up, the work looked beautiful.
No one wants to get into an accident, but I’m really glad these guys were the ones who helped me out. I would use them again for sure.

These guys get all my stars– came in a wreck, crying, on the verge of a break-​down for dealing with the insurance as I had just been rear-​ended …brand new car, MB– worried that it will never look the same again because it is not a the dealership… skeptical if I should trust them-​after all the horrid stories I have heard from body shops.
Turns out that they absolutely took me under there wing– they send a guy out from there shop to drive my car down there since I was a wreck on the phone… where patient comforting and understanding to start all the paper work–
had my complete trust by what they told me they are experts at– how they treated me with care– how quickly they set everything up– they are extremely tech-​savvy! I got every update instantly on my car plus pictures that you can see will you go through this process! they really care and are amazing at what they do… would never think of going anywhere else– thank you to all the guys again for having to DEAL with me :) Andrea D

I brought my car there after an accident on the advice of my insurance company, big mistake. I had a one year old Mazda 3 and needed collision repair on the right front side, which included replacing the wheel.
First of all, it took a month for them to «get the parts» to fix the car. I wasn’t too happy about that, but when they finally finished it I picked it up, and everything looked okay. The only thing I did notice was that they removed the «2.3» emblem on both sides of my car, mine is the Sport version that has those. They cost $ 20, and I didn’t want to deal with them about it and wait a month to «get that part» so I didn’t bother. A couple years later, I got a flat tire on highway 5. I pulled over, and was simply going to remove the flat and put on my spare. My spare was not a donut, it was a full alloy rim and performance tire that came from the factory. This was the first time I had ever needed to open that tire well to fix a flat.
To my surprise, the well was empty. The only people that had access to my vehicle was SE Auto Body, they charged me (the insurance ocmpany, actually) for a new rim and tire, but all they did was either steal my spare or use that and never purchase the replacement.
Needless to say, very shady. Of course, when I tried to call on it I got nowhwere because of the time that had gone by and they have no interest in acknowledging wrong doing.
If would be a different story if they made a mistake and fixed it, but basically they stole and committed fraud at my expense.

I have had my vehicle repaired several times at this shop. The first two trips in seemed to be good to go (but now I wonder). This time I found they had sprayed paint over door dings without filling and feathering the chips because «they weren’t paid to fix those chips.» My take on that is once you spray paint on them you have taken responsibility for seeing the job is done right.
Complaining they fixed the chips. When I came to get the vehicle a couple of days later I noticed the front bumper they had painted was a different shade of red. What they had done was forgot to put the metallic flakes in the red paint. Again they fixed the problem, after a few more days.
This time when I went to get the vehicle they were downright rude. I soon noticed there were scratches on the side of the car that were not previously there. And the area near the chips I had complained about had scratches as well. The 3 month old convertible top had a large silver looking spot and a thin line all the way across the material above the rear window. It bothered me for several days as to what this was on my new top. Then I finally figured it out, it was over-​spray from the sloppy workmanship. I have called my insurance company and filed a complaint.
I returned to them because I thought they were they had integrity, and I trusted them, but my trust is gone, and I would not recommend them to anybody, friend or foe.
