The first bite I took out of my Pork Adobada burrito was filled with fatty pork. For a burrito claimed to contain cilantro, roasted salsa, onions, and cheese, all I really tasted throughout the whole thing was salty sauce, fatty pork, and some bits of raw onion. It was the food truck with the shortest line and most reasonable prices but I do not endorse SD Street Eats.

This ain’t your mama’s food truck. I hate hate hate cole slaw and I hate hate chicken curry… prepared by anyone other than SD Street Eats it seems. They make their cole slaw(it was an accompaniment to the Ahi Sliders) with edamame, and a wasabi vinaigrette. As delicious as it is unique. I really can’t describe the curry chicken in terms of regular curry dishes because I usually avoid anything with said curry. However I was unaware this was a curry dish and I was very happy that I didn’t know or I would have missed out on some of the sweetest most tender chicken that I have ever tasted. They also served a rigatoni dish that was satisfying and a little bit different than rigatoni you would normally expect. Also you couldn’t beat the service. there was a crew of 2 including Andy the owner and both were very cool to shoot the chit with. So if you want something different than your typical catering I would say give SD Street Eats a call. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!

Of all the food trucks I have eaten off of I would have to say this one is the best. I had the short rib and it was so tender it melted in my mouth. I would say that everyone in SD should give it a try. The ahi salad looked so good and healthy also I will be hsving that next time I see the truck roll out.

These guys do gourmet food out of the back of their truck. I had the pork grilled cheese. Outstandingly delicious. The bread was grilled to perfection and the meat coupled with the groyere(sp) cheese was absolutely dynamite. Everything is under $ 10, totally worth it.
