History

Established in 1992.

Scantech Graphics occupies a 10,000 square foot production facility in the center of San Diego known as Kearny Mesa. The building was once home to KGB radio and AirTouch traffic, whose control board consoles we still use to house our many workstations. With a backup generator we are assured of continuous operation during brown or blackouts.

Our hours of operation are 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. We understand there are times when after or before appointments are needed, we are always available to help!

I had to do a lot of large and small scale printing for a trade show event over the Holiday season and was very impressed with the excellent response and service from Scantech Graphics & Displays. Their trade show manager, Kris Williams, was super responsive and helpful with all aspects of design and printing. The pricing was great and the finished products were exactly as I envisioned. I have used Scantech at least 6 times now and felt their great service warranted sharing with other. They are extremely friendly, offer good suggestions and triple check their work. I have used them for a variety of business cards and envelopes etc. The quality is great the card stock is very thick. Although they are not open weekends they go out of their way to get you the printed product quickly.

I am very impressed with the quality of the sign Scantech Graphics did for us. Amazing colors, a technology I had never seen before (direct imprint in vinyl) and a professional service and prompt turnaround that is hard to find nowadays. Plus, they are local and open to the public in San Diego, I will be back for other stuff and for sure will recommend to all my clients, colleagues, family and friends!

These guys are the best! I recently moved to San Diego to open up west coast operations for a software company and I was looking to brand our new office space with our logo’s and company name. I found Scantech Graphics on Unilocal and I’m really glad I did.
They came to my office to take some measurements and give me some ideas which was great since I had an idea of what I wanted, but I really wasn’t sure. Not only were their ideas great, but a few days later, they sent me some mockups using some photo’s they took of the office space. We agreed on a frosted glass acrylic for the company name, some window decals and then a small sign for outside the door and a) the signage came out just like the mockups b) they came and installed everything c) they were ahead of schedule d) when they weren’t happy with the coloring of the decals, they came and replaced them themselves with brand new ones.
These guys are a class act and I would definitely recommend them and will certainly use them again when the need arises.

Scantech MY DIGITAL PRINTING SAVIOR! I had a poster project that needed printing out with a limited budget and a little time.
As a poor student mistrusting of the ACMS on my campus and far too poor to go to Imprints, I went ahead and gave Scantech a call to talk to them about my situation. Thanks to Chris, I got a great deal on my poster ($ 42 for a 48“x36″) and it came out GREAT and in a timely manner! Scantech, you are AMAZING!

Need something printed and mounted? Come to A/​E Scantech!
When I was completing my thesis for Interior Design, I had four huge (3’x5’) boards that needed to be printed and mounted. Kinkos had ripped me off numerous times before, so I didn’t even consider them. After a bit of research, a classmate recommended that I check out this place. After getting a few estimates from other shops, A/​E Scantech offered the most reasonable prices and turnaround time.
While my classmates were stressed out about the deadline, I felt confident since I knew that I would be taken care of. My boards turned out flawlessly, and they are still in contact 2.5 years later!
More recently, I had a 22“x72″ poster that needed to be framed for a Christmas present. After calling around, a custom frame for that size was just out of my budget. not to mention the additional charge for a holiday rush order. I knew that the next best thing would be to get it professionally mounted. I had narrowed it down to a couple of shops, but A/​E Scantech was the only place where I could get it mounted with a border around it. Another place said they would have had to cut the actual poster and couldn’t guarantee a clean border. After bringing the poster in, it was ready for pick up the very next day! They even wrapped it up and stuck some extra foam core on the corners so it wouldn’t get damaged enroute.
Everyone I have worked with is friendly and informative with different options as to printing and mounting quality. Needless to say, I have been more than satisfied with their services!
