San Diego Travel Baby

I rented a jogging stroller from San Diego Travel Baby on a recent trip. The stroller was clean and in working order. What more can you ask? Picking up and dropping off the stroller was a smooth process. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly. I will rent from them again next time I’m in town.

The equipment and service were outstanding, and Carmen (owner) was accommodating and friendly. When I had a change at the last minute she was more than helpful, and even answered the e-​mail after business hours. A true professional and great service. Would 100% recommend this.

Everything seemed great… until I saw the charge on my credit card. We needed to rent a crib for a week as our hotel did not provide one. Upon placing the order online and speaking to Carmen over the phone the hefty $ 50 delivery charge was not mentioned. This almost doubled our cost. I feel that this should have been made VERY clear during the order process and confirmation. If I would have known the charge was this much I would not have used their service. Crib provided served it’s purpose, however, beware of hidden delivery fees!

I can’t say enough good things about Carmen and San Diego Travel Baby. Carmen saved our vacation — as the resort where we where stay didn’t have cribs or other baby accessories. She delivered and set up in less than 24 hours with no extra fee for last minute reservation. She was kind, helpful and flexible. The cribs and high chair were clean and in great condition. I would recommend her and her service to anyone.

Fantastic service. Carmen was ultra responsive, helpful answering my questions on the phone and super accommodating. They called our hotel ahead of time, found out that our room was ready and delivered and setup everything before we got to the hotel. Everything we rented from them was in superb condition. We were really happy with the crib and our 20-​month old was ecstatic with her age-​appropriate toys. Not sure what we would have done without San Diego travel baby. Also, we were checking out on a holiday, so SD Travel Baby agreed to pick up the stuff the next day. Again, super convenient for us. And very reasonably priced as well. Will rent from them again next time!

I recently visited San Diego and was staying in a hotel in La Jolla. When I called the hotel to confirm a crib for our room I was advised to bring my own crib. I was flying in from New York and couldn’t travel with a crib. I found San Diego Travel Baby online and contacted them just a few days before our trip. It was so easy to get in touch with Carmen who assured me one was available and to just reserve it through the website. The crib was dropped at the hotel before we got there and was picked up after we left. It was so simple! The quality of the crib was great and our little guy was able to get great sleep. Traveling with a baby is not easy, but the crib rental went as smooth as can be. Thank you!

San Diego Travel Baby is a life saver! My brother was coming to visit from Costa Rica and bringing my two nieces up to spend some time with uncle Jorge! I didn’t even think about car seats, so it wasn’t until last minute when I realized I was gonna need some car seats for the kids! They were kind enough to accommodate me for same day rental and delivered to my building within the hour! Carmen the owner was super nice and explained me how to instal the car seat and the seat booster, which was incredibly easy by the way.
I also had to extend the rental a couple more days, they were super helpful and since they already had my info, they just sent me the extension invoice to my email and the kids were good to go (literally) for a couple more days.
The day they were picking up, they called me about an hour in advance to confirm and they were downstairs right on the dot at the agreed time.
Super happy with the service and will most definitely use them next time the kids come visit!

Great spot

We had a great experience with San Diego Travel Baby. We were traveling from Chicago with our 1 and 3yo to a rental house with another family with small children. The day before our trip I called SDTB and was able to rent 2 car seats (which they delivered to our car rental agency), a double stroller, high chair, pack n play, and various beach toys (delivered to the rental house prior to our arrival). Everything was clean and in great condition and the two deliveries were very smooth. It was so nice not having to lug everything through the airport. We will definitely use them again next time we head out to SD!

I found this service in a great book for parents traveling with babies, toddlers, and preschool-​age children called «Travels with Baby».
We have two children. 19 months and 3. We rented a house for 2 weeks and needed a crib, highchair, double stroller, bedrails and a wagon.
I ordered everything online and I had a question about a cart to take to the beach. Carmen called me right away and answered my question and also gave me great tips for my trip. Places to eat, and where to take the kids. It was very helpful.
I was not there for the delivery but when I arrived the crib was all set up. Everything was in perfect condition and pristine! I have used other services like this before when we have traveled to other cities and the equipment has never been this clean. I’ve even gotten a highchair with dried up food all over it!
The equipment made my trip so much easier. I highly recommend this service to anyone traveling to the San Diego area.

I used San Diego Travel Baby when I had to travel to San Diego for a conference and brought my six-​month old baby along. I called several companies, and Carmen was prompt in returning my calls and answering my questions. The prices were comparable with other companies.
I ordered a pack-​n-​play and a booster seat (travel high chair), and both were delivered to my hotel on time. The invoice was included with the items, and they were left with the bell desk. I left the items with the bell desk upon check-​out, making the whole experience easy for me.
Both items that I rented were clean and in great condition. The pack-​n-​play did not come with the infant bassinette insert or changing table as was shown on their website, however I think I may have forgotten to specify that I wanted these items in my reservation.
Overall a great experience! I would recommend this company without reservation and would definitely use them again in the future.

I found this service online and needed it because I was visiting my sister with my toddler and he still sleeps in a crib.
The price was extremely fair and for full set-​up delivery and pick up I was excited.
I was not there for the delivery but my sister was and it was fast and smooth.
When I saw the crib it was super clean and great quality. They included a sheet and a bumper although I dont use a bumper and brought my own sheet it was nice that it was included and clean.
My son slept so much better using this crib instead of a port-​a-​crib. It was also one less thing I had to deal with when I was checking in luggage.
Delivery was easy and very accomadating. We wanted to go to breakfast so I sent and email and it was easy as that to change pick-​up times.
Carmen was so easy to work with and the cleanliness and price of this service means anytime I visit my sister I will be giving Carmen a call.
I highly recommend SD Travel Baby to any moms that want to travel and have comforts of home without having to lug it around with you:)
