I served 20 years in one of the world’s most elite Special Operations Units, the U.S. Navy SEALs, and I learned a few things about life there. I have developed for my tax practice a very calculated, systematic, methodical approach to preparing tax returns! We will stop the tax bleeding, stabilize the current tax situation; but more importantly, we will discuss strategies that you can use going forward to keep your tax liability as low as possible. It really bothers me when people are paying needless taxes because they do not list all of the deductions they are entitled to. We are a full-​service Accounting firm licensed in CA. We offer a broad range of services for business owners, executives, and independent professionals. We are affordable, experienced, and friendly.

History

Established in 1986.

I began my tax practice because I did not like the way my taxes were prepared by a large tax preparation firm. I developed a detailed, systematic approach to ensure that my clients are aware of and are listing all of the deductions they are entitled. I actually enjoy helping my clients reduce their tax liability by applying the tax laws. In addition, I help my clients develop a tax reduction plan that is specific to their tax profile.

I have been a Tax Practitioner in San Diego for over 25 years. As an Enrolled Agent I can handle the most difficult tax situations as well as represent clients before the IRS during audits. An Enrolled Agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the IRS by passing a three-​part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Daniel is also a renowned educator. He has written financial articles for local newspapers and is much in demand as a public speaker in the areas of finance and taxation. Through his popular and highly regarded public seminars, Mr. Yowell is recognized as a knowledgeable and motivational speaker on topics relating to taxation.
