History

Established in 2008.

Not so long ago, it was quite difficult to find affordable short-​term student housing in San Diego. Students would either look for room/​shares on Craigslist or opt for residential hotels. San Diego Student Housing was founded to offer newcomers, medical students, phD students and exchange students a much-​needed housing option: furnished and short-​term student housing with individual contracts! We started with 2 units in Pacific Beach and have been blessed with increasing demand since then. We are now serving Downtown, Mission Valley, and the SDSU area as well.

Business Owner

Christine Olory arrived in San Diego from France in 2004. After studying civil engineering at Grossmont College and SDSU, she decided to drop out to focus on her children and her part-​time job: helping newcomers find affordable and quality housing. In 2008, she officially founded San Diego Student Housing. As a business owner and a mom, Christine is focused on providing a quality housing solution for college kids with above-​average life discipline. «Studying, Cleaning after yourself, and Respecting your roommates are the 3 things you’ll need to fit-​in and have a great time with SDSH»
