We are a full service headshot and portrait studio specializing in business, acting and modeling head shots as well as corporate brochures and full company layouts. We are more then happy to bring your studio setup to you.

History

Established in 2006.

We have been working in San Diego and Los Angeles for over twelve years. We shoot everything from simple headshots to comprehensive corporate photography. We work on location or in our studio seven days a week by appointment-​feel free to call anytime!

As a graduate of the Brooks Institute, Nicholas quickly made a name for himself as a photographer in San Diego by working with Quiksilver, Roxy and DC Shoes as well as shooting Obama during the elections. He now teaches photography workshops at UCSD as well as out of his studio in Little Italy.

Nick and his Assistant Angela are easy and fun to work with. I was hesitant in the beginning to get headshots done, but the environment that Nick and Angela created was fun and by the end of the session, I had many photos to choose from and I had a hard time choosing the best ones because of Nick’s expertise. The company I work for has used San Diego Headshots for all of our headshots and we couldn’t be more happy with how they turned out! Thank you San Diego Headshots!

Very pleased with my experience. Nick is hands down the definition of a professional. He knows exactly what he is doing, and puts you in a pose that results in your best photos.
On top of that, there were technical difficulties rendering my photos. To make up for the delay Nick threw in another photo for full re-​touch on the house. It is acts like this that results in his great ratings, I am really pleased with the customer service. The headshot photographer to go to in San Diego in my opinion

Don’t search any longer! If you want the best of the best, Nick is your guy!!! It was my first Headshot experience and I had to do a full body picture for our massive corporate convention. Needless to say I was a tad nervous but thankfully Nick is a genius and honestly can’t choose my favorite out of 371 shots!!! They are all amazing!!! Thankful to have had such a phenomenal experience! Even bought my husband a gift certificate before I left for his own Headshots with Nick! Truly the best $$ I’ve spent on pictures!

I have already recommended Nick and Angela to many people offline, so now I’d like to tell you what a phenomenal experience it was. Working with these guys was not only fun, but the photos I got were exceptionally well done and perfectly suited to my business. He understood exactly what I was going for — and I got it.
I went with a friend who also needed a new headshot and he and wife Angela made the entire experience delightful. And the price was amazing — I didn’t want to pay a fortune and I didn’t need to for professional photos. This was an A++ deal.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for headshots and portraits. It was a great experience. I don’t have much experience being photographed, and Nicholas was very good at making me feel comfortable and at capturing me at my best. The final product was even better than I expected. I thought it would take at least a couple of weeks to receive the final retouched photographs, but the same day as my appointment I had a link to all of the photographs he took. I picked three to be retouched and had the final images in my inbox less than 24 hours later.

I needed a quick, economical solution for a traditional headshot. Nick and his team responded quickly, got me in and got it done. Nick took so many shots I thought he had confused my cost goal. I was relieved and pleased with the shots and found three that perfectly hit the mark.

Nick was simply amazing. When I was asked to get headshots by my company and I tried to get away with some iPhone cheap shots, I was encouraged to find a photographer and get it done over the weekend. I found Nick’s Unilocal reviews and gave him a call on a Saturday morning. He arranged his schedule to see me that day and I have to say that I was expecting a 10-​min event and not the nearly 2 hours I spent with him. I must say I had fun! Yes! Despite the awkward lights, arm positions and being totally out of my element I must confess I had a blast. Nick made me feel comfortable, ensured he knew enough about me and who I am to capture the best shots; and made me laugh discussing a variety of topics while he worked his magic. I have shared the raw files with some of my colleagues and they are blown away. Everyone is asking me where I got them done and I am encouraging to see Nicholas. Overall, best experience ever and I think I look like a million bucks.

I recently switched law firms and a couple of weeks in, I was instructed to get a headshot taken at their expense. With a large budget, a small time frame in which to get it completed and with so many options to choose from, I have to admit that I was a tad overwhelmed.
My fears were allayed when I met Nick, the photographer and his wonderful assistant Angela. Nick is charismatic, engaging, down-​to-​earth and made me feel so comfortable in my own skin that I felt it translated into the hundreds (yes hundreds) of pictures he took.
Similarly, Angela went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with my photo selections.
His deal for first time clients is fantastic and surprisingly very affordable so please do check them out! I absolutely recommend them without reservation.

Nicholas took fabulous business shots of my team. The especially nice thing was that everyone on my team was pleased with their shots as well as the group shot – including all women involved.
The only problem I had was that there were too many great portraits to choose from! Nicholas is professional and fun, and his work is great.

I am 100% satisfied with my headshot session at SD Headshots. Nicholas and his assistant Angela are absolutely amazing at their job! I have never been a fan of having to take self portraits; however Nicholas made sure that the session was calm and relaxing. Nicholas is a funny individual and you can not help but to laugh and smile throughout the session. My headshot results were so fantastic that I needed help in deciding which ones to select.
