Tooks some crv’s to get recycled. The guy that was the cashier was on the phone blabbering his mouth and not paying attention. His name was Jose, Well this guy, Jose is like taking his sweet time on the phone while people are waiting in the hot September sun. Then this other dork starts a stupid conversation with this Jose dude and they like talk and talk without any consideration to the people waiting in line.
So finally its my turn. He weighs my stuff and He hands me the receipt and $ 10. He was short changing me! I looked at the receipt and i tell him that he still owed me $ 10.10 more. He apologized and handed me the rest. Honest mistake? Maybe.
I might go somewhere else to do my recycling. This experience was traumatic.

In spite of what one review said, I was greeted cheerfully and quickly collected my $ 2.11 — 5 stars for that part. Was pretty hard to find tho — no obvious signage or address — but then I realized that the homeless-​looking guy with two bags of bottles was probably going where I was. Sure enough, thru a gate in the fence, down a little alley and there it was. Minus 1 star for that part. I’ll go back next time I have the need.

This place is conveniently located off the freeway with lots of parking and little traffic. The guy that was working was very friendly and helpful. I found this place as an alternative to the RePlanet in Hillcrest which is always pretty awful; lots of homeless, always a line, minimal hours of operation, redeemable ticket only, impersonal staff, blah blah. This place is pretty much the opposite of all of those things, so if you got the wheels, make the journey!

I wish I knew this place was here earlier, because this could not have been easier. They are located immediately off of the freeway, there was no line, and the weigh-​in process was super quick. And of course, the gentleman was friendly and the rates were fair. I’m a fan.

Fast, Easy, and get cash right away! I make the drive and only go here to recycle.
Usual hours are 8am-​4pm from my experience.

the two men I met while dropping my recyclables off were so friendly and helpful. I just recently moved to downtown and I found them very quickly on Unilocal.they helped me with all my bottles and cans and were very quick! I was in and out in under five minutes. will definitely start recycling much more and will continue to go here.

This recycling center is right off the freeway, they have a couple of big green banners that say RECYCLING on the driveway (it’s kind of in an alleyway).
I pulled up, and I was one of only two customers there. Right away the guys helped me start unloading my bottles and cans from my truck. They were even considerate enough to ask me if I wanted to keep the garbage bags I brought them in. After we finished filling and weighing the baskets I was very pleasantly surprised with how much I walked away with.
Due to the convenience and great help I got here, not to mention being satisfied with how much I got back, this will definitely be my go-​to place to recycle in the future.

I had an easy time getting my $ 2 here with reciept. Guy working was super friendly and offered to help me with my whole two bags, that’s appreciated. Also, very easy to find with the giant RECYCLING HERE signs.
I’ll go back again from mission hills.

This was really sweet.
I’m from the east coast and I’m used to taking my cans to the supermarket and manually shoving them into the machine which prints out a receipt to take to the cash register to redeem your refund.
This place, however, had a big basket for my cans. They took the basket, weighed it and gave me cash for my cans just like that. In and out in a matter of minutes.

I love this place and have switched to going here over the one I’d been going to for years. Their prices are comparable and it’s not a madhouse every time you go here like other places. The guys who work here are also generally helpful to the point that the guy who helped me the first time I went here actually helped me unload my recyclables.

The recyling centers I go to were all gone and I needed to find one so I could sell all the cans I’d saved.
Then this crv recycling center caught my eyes today.
There were about 3~5 people working and there were no customer except me around 2:50pm, so there was no wait time. All the cans and bottles were weighed on a pre-​tared scale, so that was good too.
After all the weighings I got money in cash and a printed receipt of my trasaction. I liked today’s visit a lot.
