History

Established in 2007.

Route 66 Moving started in San Diego and San Francisco doing just local moves. Getting more and more repeat and referral customers we started to do long distance moves between San Diego and San Francisco Bay Area. Being able to provide non markup labor at the pickup and delivery locations made our service much more affordable than other moving companies’. The volume of our long distance moves increased which gave us an opportunity to work with any budget and specific needs.

In 2013 we leased a 5000 sqft warehouse in Miramar area in San Diego and started to provide storage service for our local and long distance valued customers. These gave us more volume of the customers who are moving to San Francisco since most of them needed to store their furniture and boxes until they find a place in Bay Area. In 2014 we opened another location Los Angeles. Now we can proudly say that our long distance moving service covers ALL California and local covers San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Before I started this company I went through a few very difficult long distance moves (cross country from Maryland to San Francisco, and cross California from San Francisco to San Diego). The idea came in 2007 when me and my partner decided to open a moving company that will change the industry. Great customer service became our main priority. We understood that hiring professional, highly motivated and customer orientated movers and foremen will bring this company to success. After few years building our customer base of repeat customers and referrals we can proudly say that we cover San Diego county with an outstanding moving service.

I am actively involved in every-​day business. Doing estimates and supervising your move to ensure your relocation goes efficiently is my priority. Me and the management team do our best to be up to date with new technologies (GPS trackers, back up cameras etc.) so your shipment is safe and always on the map.
