I ate 16 rolled tacos in under 24 hours. I’d eat there all day everyday if I lived in San Diego.

This place is passable. Some of the food is passable. When I am stoned I want to give the shrimp burrito 4 ½ stars. But if I’m sober and just tired I often feel disgusted with myself for eating the food. The chicken Barito is too salty and there’s a weird flavor that makes me think that the meat might have gone south and that they’re just trying to cover it up with a strange spice. The chili burrito is pretty good. But there are so many good Mexican food places that maybe I am being a little too harsh. But still, if there are that many good Mexican food places than they really need to step up their game. One of the severely disappointing Doritos was shredded beef. It wasn’t so much shredded beef as what could have been dog kibble. It was little lumps of meat. I only took a few bites before I put it in the fridge. When I went back and had a slimy texture. I guess that is expected with beef but the consistency would be described as shredded by absolutely no one. I thought that the flavor wasn’t too bad although it was again too salty. There is just an overall feeling of shame when I eat these burritos. I’m reminded that I’m too cheap to go into peoples while stoned but I’m also starving so… Course you weed

Eh. It’s your basic 24⁄7 taco shop. I don’t eat meat so I’ve never had a problem with some of the things I’ve read. Potato and egg breakfast burrito with guacamole and pico. Can’t go wrong. They also have amazing horchata.

This place is a great taco shop. Open 24⁄7. It’s pretty basic. Walk up or drive through only. They do have tables and chairs outside with umbrellas. I’ve had the breakfast burritos, carne asada burrito, shrimp burrito, and surf and turf burrito. All are great, especially the shrimp burrito.

It’s not the best taco shop in San Diego, but it gets the job done. With that being said, why am I giving it 4 Stars? –Open 24 Hours –Red Sauce is good. Not life changing, but on point. –Tortillas are done right The employees are usually nice –I don’t recall them ever messing up my order; I do often end up here at crazy hours, so if they have, I didn’t care. If I’ve ever woken up feeling not so great after eating here at least two dozen times or so, it’s been the fault of an IPA exploration or a night out with the specials on Newport. I can’t say I’m at a level where I’m comfortable taking the next step and venturing into seafood with them, but I’m perfectly satisfied with our Carne Asada and Bean and Cheese relationship.

I stop here from time to time mostly because of convenience. It is very close to my house and open 24 hrs a day. The service is always good but it does take a little while to get your food since they make everything to order. The food is good but nothing great and they only give you a little hot sauce to go with your order and not salsa. Their menu is pretty good and priced well.

I give it a solid three cause it is what it is. There not trying to be the best. It’s Mexican fast food. I like the carne Asada quesadillas and pretty much anything they have that’s carne asada. The pollo or chicken is terrible. I’ve learned my lesson and never get it anymore. Also the chille relleno is pretty good too. That’s about it. Quick and easy for days your in a rush.

Soooo I’ve been here twice. First time was magical. I got the carnitas taco and it was delishhhh. Best taco I ever had. Went there again a couple days later and got the same thing. The meat was SUPER dry… to the point of being crispy and stale. All of it… it was inedible. So. From what I’ve gathered, it all depends on who’s working. But if you’re there on a good night– maybe you’ll have better luck. The prices are awesome and portions are filling. If I lived in this area I’d try it again.

OMG where do I start… Me and my girl love this place. We got turned on to this place from a friend in San Diego. Now every single time we come to San Diego from La it’s a MUST to get a burrito or a fresh taco. My favorite is the California Burrito, and I have only had the chicken taco. My girl likes the California too but she also likes the sausage egg and cheese burrito they offer vegetarian options as well. I love this place it doesn’t look like much from the outside but it packs a big punch.

Roberto’s is a typical Mexican fast-food style joint that offers large portions of decent food. Their biggest draw is the fact that they’re open late at night, so people flock there after hitting local bars. There’s no inside dining, just a few concrete benches outside. Too bad they recently raised their prices, because I was a big fan of their $ 5 burritos. I usually get the carne asada or carnitas burrito. Both come with salsa fresca and guacamole inside. I prefer the carnitas burrito, but I always have to tear a small hole in the end of the burrito and squeeze a puddle of grease out. Otherwise, my stomach pays the price big time! Their burritos used to be rather large, but the size went down when their prices went up. I’ve also had their rolled tacos, which are fine, but seriously, how difficult is it to screw up rolled tacos? They also have decent breakfast burritos. I like the bacon, egg, and cheese, but the bacon is deep fried so it’s really unhealthy. Sometimes I go for the cheaper potato, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito when I want something that isn’t greasy.

I’ve been coming here for my breakfast burritos for a month now because they are usually the cheapest depending on what price they decide to charge me. The burritos taste like a burrito, kinda rubbery, I’m pretty sure the eggs are battered And not fresh, it’s been okay for a while. But for the last week they’ve gotten my order wrong 3 times, one of those times I got a carne asada instead of a breakfast. This last time I got bacon instead of a potato breakfast like I asked for. So I returned it, the lady said noo noo I’m right. I think the big problem is just the older lady who works in the morning, she doesn’t care enough to make sure your order is correct. This is the only taco shop were I’ve received the wrong order, and I get at least one burrito a day. I’m switching back to nicos, it’s worth the couple extra dollars for a bigger, better, more tasty burrito.

I HADTO! I JUSTHADTO!!! After visiting La Jolla briefly, and heading out to Balboa Park area, I was going to pass by some of my old stomping grounds, when a couple of wrong turns made me pass this little hole in the wall, DRIVETHROUGH, NOKIDDING. I HADTOPULLOVER and in. Ordered just one fish taco — frozen pre battered fish. But go figure, really good! SURPRISINGLY good. Glad I went off the beaten path!

The best shrimp burrito ever, ever, ever. Open all night, so when you go there at 4AM they will give you… food. It is what it is, one-star givers. I rather suspect that they don’t give a single solitary f**k that you took Spanish in high school or that your mom always said you were a «picky eater» with that look that says how hard it was not to give you up for adoption. Order from the menu, check your attitude, and by all means try the shrimp burrito. You should try the shrimp burrito.

Screw this place, people only eat there cause there’s a 24 hour drive thru and your only other choice is Jack in Box. Their food is not that good and the attitude you get from them like they are gods gift to Mexican food. When you pull up to the drive thru with no one there they make you wait and the worst part is you can see them just standing there ignoring you. SCREWYOUROBERTOS, there are better places with better food and service.

My favorite taco shop in SD! They’re always super friendly regardless of what time it is or if there’s a bunch of people lined up. My friends swear by the rolled tacos. The crispy tacos are quite greasy but so good! The chimichanga is deep fried goodness and loaded with chicken! Deliciously huge breakfast burritos too. They’re also really accommodating with adding/deleting ingredients to your liking. Love me some Roberto’s :)

There’s nothing like a California burrito to cure a hangover. I stopped into this little taco shop in OB with one mission: to eat a delicious California burrito for breakfast. Mission accomplished! The burrito was stuffed with carne asada, cheese and french fries. Everything I love and nothing that I hate. You could add on sour cream or guacamole for an extra .75 each but those are two ingredients I typically ask to be removed anyway(I know, I’m crazy, I’ve heard it all before). For a light eater like myself, this oversized burrito was plenty for two meals. My only complaint is that the parking lot is tiny and difficult to maneuver. I parked on the side and ordered at the window(which isn’t very clearly marked) and then found that I got boxed in by another car and ended up having to back out through the entrance.

Although they just up-per their prices, they are still reasonably priced for the amount of food you get and they’re ALWAYS super nice here. Sometimes they even hook it up with a free drink or something. We usually order a rice bowl with just meat rice and guac and they never complain sometimes they accidentally add an extra something we didn’t want but their service makes up for it. Pick them over fresh MXN any day!
