Rigoberto’s Taco Shop

Whenever I crave Mexican food, I think of Rigobertos. Unfortunately, there aren’t any in Michgian, so I’m always yearning for it. Well, where to begin about this cute little taco shop… THE CHIMICHANGA OF COURSE!!! This is probably the one thing I have to get whenever in my California. It’s HUGE, and stuffed with hella good meat and veggies and cheese, and topped with guacamole and sour cream and more queso. You really can’t go wrong with this one. I would definitely recommend the pollo asado fries… One word delicious. The marinade on the chicken is flavorful and tender and juicy. The place is pretty clean, the salsa’s at the salsa bar are pretty good, nothing great. I would say the prices are pretty reasonable considering the quantity and quality of the food. Que Golazo!

Food was pretty good, but took forever, service was lousy. They were rude to my wife. I’d give 3 stars for the food but overall 2.

After a night in the North Park area this is definitely a place to stop. Its small, has a salsa bar, and the aguas frescas are real, not syrup based.
The food is damn good for a taco shop. The service is alright, the prices are kind of high though.
This is where I go now that saguaros has been taken over and is impossible at 2am, and I dont mind it one bit.
