RG Bar Services

We hired Roy and RG Bar Services as our bartender for our wedding last month, and we were so impressed by the quality of service provided by Roy. He went above and beyond to work with us and to make the whole process so easy and painless. He was patient and helped us with what alcohol to buy, was so flexible, and made sure that our needs were met.
During the wedding itself, in addition to providing excellent bar service, he even took photos of the wedding and the guests from the unique angle behind the bar, giving us some wonderful photos we never would have gotten otherwise! Overall, hiring Roy and his company was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I highly recommend him for all of your bartending needs!

We were one of those annoyingly vague, not-​quite-​sure-​what-​we-​want-​but-​somehow-​still-​picky type couples, and Roy was helpful in fleshing out details, figuring out how many supplies we would need (we were purchasing the liquid goods ourselves, although his team did all the on-​site setup and teardown the day of the wedding), while still being very flexible once we figured out what we wanted.
He is also just a plain great bartender, concocting tasty beverages and keeping both us & the guests happy despite the sweltering heat on the day of our outdoor-​indoor wedding.

Roy and his team were the best! He truly went above and beyond just bartending. He would seek out the bride and my groom to serve us drinks and see if there was anything else we needed. He also took pictures of the wedding and anyone who came to the bar for drinks on his own personal camera. He then shared all these fabulous pictures! We hired Roy for our wedding in August and could not have been happier with the service he provided. He responded to e-​mails promptly and gave us great suggestions on the type and amount of drinks to buy. He really put our minds at ease that everything would be taken care of. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly and my guests loved the courteous and fun service provided by RG Bar Services. Roy also took a ton of really great pictures during the entire wedding and posted them on Facebook the very next day, which was an awesome surprise. It was so fun going through the photos and reliving our wedding day. I would hire RG Bar Services again in a heart beat and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

Thank you Roy and your team for bartending our wedding. From the beginning, Roy was prompt and courteous to the many MANY emails I sent to him. We came across Rgbar services through Unilocal and read the many great reviews. Sure enough, they did an excellent job at a reasonable price. The set up was nice and brought all supplies needed (ice, counter top, etc.). All we did was supply the booze. Beers and Margaritas was our choice. They showed up on time to set up and were efficient on breaking down.
I would highly recommend Roy and his team to anyone looking for bartending services. They made the drive from SD to north county! Thanks again Roy.

Roy did an amazing job with our wedding! He was a recommended vendor through our venue, and we can definitely see why. Throughout the planning process, he was very easily accessible via email and always responded promptly. We got our kegs through a brewery in Vista and brought in a mobile bar with three taps. Roy did an amazing job getting everything setup and connected, and problem solved when things didn’t quite go as planned. We were so pleased with his positive attitude and willingness to go with the flow. Not to mention, the presentation of the bar was beautiful (he helped my coordinator add our own personal decorations to his serving station), service and staff were efficient, and the drinks were mixed well and tasty! The «icing on the cake» of the whole interaction was that the next morning I woke up to over 100 photos posted on Facebook of our big day! What a special and priceless surprise! You will not be disappointed when you go with RG Bar Services.

Roy was the bartender for our San Diego Botanic Garden wedding last month. We didn’t really get a choice because the Botanic Garden only gives you a few options, so I was a bit nervous about whether or not he would be a good fit for us. I had NO reason to worry. Roy was so easy to work with! I’ll be honest, I was the kind of bride who didn’t really want to be bothered with all of the details and Roy worked amazingly well for me. I always knew that he was available to answer any questions that came up, but it wasn’t something I had to worry much about. On our wedding day, he was awesome and took a ton of pictures which he posted to Facebook — our guests loved that! Thank you Roy!

Roy was terrific. He was hired to be the bartender for our wedding, but he did so much more than just serve drinks. He arrived early, helped with setup, and even took pictures during both the ceremony and reception. He helped keep the wheels greased and everything running smoothly and facilitated guests having more fun. Throughout the evening he went above and beyond anything one could or should ever expect from a Bartender. He really helped make this a special occasion and all while remaining covert in the background throughout the event. Hire RG Bar Services and you can rest assured knowing that portion of the event is locked down and taken care of. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again and would insist that you hire him for your event needs.

Extremely professional and friendly staff. Roy is an amazing individual who goes above and beyond the travel bar experience. Accommodating events from bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, to weddings and beyond– this team is a must-​have in San Diego county for any and all occasions. With an amazing lively & knowledgable staff of friendly bartenders, who know how to serve drinks in a time-​sensitive fashion; all with a smile– you will not be disappointed. They even go beyond the bar to further address needs of refilling wine, and ensuring nobody stays thirsty! No discrimination here! As Roy and his team bartends for all events, catering to the LGBTQIA+ community, bartending for gay weddings etc. Another perk about this team is that Roy captures the event in still photos from not only the perspective of the bar, but throughout the course of the night as well! You will find an album solely dedicated to your event containing dozens upon dozens of memories captured!

Roy was beyond amazing. From the initial booking process to the end of the event. He was quick with his email responses and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. I want to write 10 more reviews for Roy, each with a minimum of FIVE stars. Period.
My new wife and I really needed to do this wedding on the cheap, with recent expensive projects just behind us. Unfortunately, the costs continued to escalate, but fortunately, Roy was not one of them.
Although I had very little exposure to RG before hand, my wife to be continually spoke highly of the level of communication and professionalism exhibited by Roy. Helpful answers and advice, as well as extremely reasonable pricing throughout, and a sincere willingness to change direction at the last minute (as wedding plans are wont to do).
Well, I rolled up to the venue, first thing Saturday morning, with 4 craft kegs a bunch of wine cases, and a ton of non-​alcoholic freaking out as to whether my kegs would even be found when RG was scheduled to show 230, or whether they would be KIA because of the 91 degree day. Unfortunately, I had a ton of other stuff to do, and I couldn’t babysit my beer. :(
Luckily, it seems Roy gave a s*** about my s***, because when I finally made my way to the bar, I found everything laid out to perfection, displayed to offer choice, and a man with the most professional, courteous, and joyful, optimistic, and sincere demeanor you’ve ever met.
I feel that our wedding was a perfect success, due in no small part to Roy and others in our employ. I could not have expected better service had I hired a friend, or done it myself.
More than a great bartender, I feel that we have added a friend to our life.
Roy, thank you for everything! from entertaining our friends, and fulfilling our every request, to beating even our great photographer to first pics, we couldn’t have asked for more! We hope you enjoy the wine and wish you every future success possible!
RG Bar Services– if you overlook these guys, you’re just throwing your money in the ocean.

RG Bar was amazing and completely wowed us and all our wedding guests. We didn’t know that Roy would take so many amazing pictures, and we were so happy about that! The day goes by so fast that the more pictures the better! Roy set up on time, and the planning process was easy and professional! The bar was attractively set up, and Roy charmed all our guests throughout the night! We could not have been happier with our choice for bar service, and would not hesitate to book Roy again!

Roy and his staff showed up ready to rock and roll. He worked with me and the venue I had chosen to obtain necessary permits, pick out his spot for our beautiful wedding day and so much more. Great communication throughout the whole time frame. He went above and beyond to give great service and surprised me by taking 122 photos of our wedding while being the «friendliest bartender» I know. I would recommend him highly and use him at any event I might plan in the future.

Roy and his team are awesome people. We just had them bartend our wedding. What I really loved is that they provide a service, and we had the flexibility to choose all of our own booze. So we made a major costco run, brought all the booze to the venue, and Roy’s team did the rest. The bartenders were professional, super clean (no loose straws or fruit piling up on the bar), and they even helped us pass out cupcakes :)
We really loved working with these guys for our wedding — highly recommend!

We hired Roy as a bartender for our wedding reception, a truly fantastic decision. Roy was so quick to reply to all of our questions along with being professional and very helpful. I knew we were in excellent hands right away and all of our guests agreed. He had delicious vodka and bourbon mules prepared for our guests to enjoy right after our ceremony as discussed and was sure to take care of everyone throughout the night. The bar was set-​up beautifully and he took such care in packing up everything for us at the end of the night.
Roy also provided a wonderful personal touch. We had brewed our own beer and he made sure we were able to enjoy the last two pours. He took pictures throughout the reception and also had a gift for us at the end of the night. We were so pleased with everything.

RG Bar Services helped with our wedding last weekend and did a fabulous job. On time, super friendly, very accommodating, took pictures and was very professional. I would highly recommend them for any event. They took care of everything. Ice, cups, set up, take down, the whole shebang. I was very pleased with the service and the price. I will definitely go with RG Bar Services again for any bartending service we may need in the future… We had them for our wedding and everything went smoothly. They always answered questions we had prior to the wedding and were on time to the event, organized all of the alcohol/​drinks/​supplies that we brought and just made things easy. The bartender we had also did a great job as we only had 1 for 100 people… there was rarely a line of more than 10 people. He was very nice, seemed to be having fun, and everyone seemed to enjoy the bar!
