I always get rides
cab. Gilbert’s the guy. I always prefer service from.him. he is friendly and actually talks to you. The prices are reasonable unless you get stuck with some. Mexican older guy with glasses… don’t know his name. but he tries charging you. more than what the price says because he «needs money for his gas» and when you don’t give him his extra $ 3 he huffs under his breath about it… two words FUCK YOU this guy is a straight dick! Such an asshole!!! Called and complained about him but he still seems to be out there… beware !! But other than that I’ve never gotten any bad experiences with drivers thanks red cab!

Extremely great service by Joe, my driver with Red Cab. When I slid into his cab for the first time it felt clean and like a real taxi service with a polished vintage-​like vehicle in premium condition. When looking for a taxi in the Little Italy vicinity of downtown San Diego, hit Joe up when you call Red Cab. You will not regret it. He brings the «customer is always right» flavor back to modern customer service.

greatest cab ride ever! I called stranded at nowhere, not knowing where I was and not even an exact cross street due to the construction of new streets w/​o street names, but they found me and came so quickly. I even forgot to ask how long it would take because it was freazin cold outside that night before he hung up on me but, hey they showed up and that’s what counts. Would recommend them to anyone who needs a ride in downtown or most of the southbay areas closer to TJ, Mexico.

BTW, I left my bag with all my tennis gear… It’s a gray with pink writings of the bag logo… please oh please if you find it, cab driver or Jeff… the dispatcher/​boss, plz plz get it back to me. Wow, there sure are a lot of negative reviews and I do wish I could comment on the supposedly rude attitudes too, but that could only be possible if they had actually ANSWERED THEIR DAMNED PHONES.

My friends left a bag full of my stuff in a Red Cab.
After numerous calls that night and a week following, they didn’t locate my stuff, didn’t offer to contact the cabbies in search of my stuff, and made no effort to help me.

Worst taxi experience of my life. The driver refused to let me out until I raised my voice in a panic.
I asked him no less than four times to let me out and he acknowledged that I was asking to be let out, but there was a disagreement over which route to take to my destination and when he wouldn’t go the way I requested, he decided he wasn’t going to let me off sooner either. Felt like I was being held hostage.
Have filed a complaint with the MTS department that oversees Taxi Licensing for San Diego.

One of the drivers was aggressively honking and waiving for bicyclists to ride on the sidewalk and not the road, even though they’re are not allowed to ride on the sidewalk. The cab drive clearly doesn’t know street rules. He looked like a trashy mullet man to boot.

NO Stars Worst F@#king Service in the world, if I could give you no stars I would called 2 hours ahead, three hours later here I am still waiting… WTF this unacceptable… don’t ever use this cab service Unilocalers…

I called and reserved a taxi to the airport for a couple of days later. They said it was confirmed but when I asked for the confirmation number, the person said «just say it was Jim.» It gave me a funny feeling, so 1 hour before they were supposed to pick me up, I called to confirm. They didn’t have it on their records. 5 minutes later, Jim called and said he would «never have said anything like that» and accused me of lying about making the reservation. Why would I do this? Thank goodness for Unilocal,as I was able to find a taxi that was actually reliable.
