The main office for the Rau Law Firm has relocated to Portland, Oregon as of January 1, 2016. We do continue to offer our legal services in San Diego at for both new and current clients.

History

Established in 2009.

Henry began his solo law practice after working in a traditional law office for six years successfully representing his clients in a variety of litigation matters. Recognizing that the traditional practice of law and hourly billing created walls between himself and his clients, Henry set out on his own determined to practice law differently; he has done away with hourly billing and strives to keep his practice nimble to best address the changing needs and busy schedules of his clients. The Rau Law Firm focuses on estate planning, business, probate, and real estate. Consultations are available in your home or office with flexible times to fit your schedule.

Business Owner

Henry is a rare find in today’s legal world: a true generalist who can be both your family and business lawyer.

Henry has over six years experience helping people with the full spectrum of legal issues that arise, from preparing their estate plan to negotiating agreements for their business.

Since having his first child in 2010, Henry has met a number of parents with babies and older children. He is often struck by the number of parents who say they need to make a Will and identify a guardian for their children but they just haven’t gotten around to it or don’t know where to start. Henry’s goal is to educate his clients on their options and work with them to create a plan that furthers their goals for their children and their values at affordable flat rates.

Henry lives in San Diego with and two kids. Henry draws on his experience as a litigator, small business owner, parent, and mentor to college students when working his clients to develop their personal plans.
