Love this store, unfortunately it’s a long distance from where I live. The store is clean, well stocked and full of wonderful non grocery things, ie, books, greeting cards, gift items etc. I got some yummy pastries and jello that I can’t find in my Von’s. The only downside is that they don’t carry Blue Bunny ice cream. I will be back on Sunday when State college is not is session. Also the checker was nice and gave me a discount even without a Ralph’s card, another BIG plus.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. If any of their items are on sale they’re probably just trying to get rid of it cause it’s bad, especially the meat. I had to return pork and beef a total of 5 times, and I store them properly and usually buy it to use it the day of. Don’t trust them.

I go here for all my groceries because it’s convenient for me since it’s so close to my house. They have a good selection but in some areas they lack a lot of the products compared to other Ralph’s. Most of the cashiers working here are really nice though. It’s more of a college area grocery store since I see SDSU students every time I come here everywhere haha. The prices are okay. They have some good specials going on most of the time so take advantage of those!

Got everything I needed here. They have self check out and ample parking. I agree that they have a problem with solicitors. When I was there last you had girl scouts on both sides and some guy trying to sell newspapers. Kroger brand tunafish that is wild caught was only $ 0.89 a can!

I like Ralph’s near my house cuz they have pretty good weekly specials when I just need a few items. Some items are overpriced but still better than Von’s in most cases. A lot of discontinued things go on clearance, and you can find some good prices on various things. The meat section can have items marked down half price quite often. Customer service here usually very good but at times not as much, normally will give rain checks for items they run out of. The beer and hard liquor prices are usually hard to beat during holiday times with many things marked way down. Example– Jameson 14.99, grey goose 19.99, ciroc 19.99 and many others when on sale!!!

This is a nice store with friendly staff. The prices are what you’d expect at a Ralph’s, with some good specials. They have everything you need, all the time. My only problem with this store is that there is ALWAYS someone out front wanting to bug you for something. I’m ok with the Salvation Army kettle or girl scouts, but there is all kinds of people out there asking for whatever, every single time I go there. Not always in the mood to be bothered at the store.

This store is gross and dirty. The deli staff is underwhelming. Today, after waiting 8 minutes for someone to come out and help, I gave up. From now on I will stick with Trader Joes. The automated check out machines are always a problem.

The deli people at this Ralph’s really need help with their customer service. I stood in front of the sandwich counter for 5 minutes while 3 deli workers walked around restocking and talking to each other. I asked if I needed to take a number for service. Without even looking at me I hear a voice say«we’ll be with you in a second». All three employees kept stocking in till so

I bought blueberries and raspberries for the first time at ralphs instead of vons…2 days later they were already molded. I don’t have money to throw like that. Never buying produce here again. I guess that’s why their process are low. Their food is from the clearance section at the farms? I’m down to buy clearance packaged foods though! Can’t go wrong with that… hopefully

What happened to being polite in the customer service field? I used to like this location but recently I’d rather spend my money at Walmart neighborhood market. The staff is unfriendly and rude. They make you feel like a thief! Since it’s location is close to SDSU my assumption is there’s a lot of theft since the employee’s are watching you with their beady little eyes at every turn. Ugh… can’t I shop in peace? I’m so over this place!

Recently I’ve noticed Ralphs has introduced a «no solicitation» policy, which I think is a HUGE improvement, so I’m adding a star for that. Plus, they’ve recently renovated the store and, although I didn’t think it looked bad before, it definitely looks even better now.

This 5 Star comment is for the lady who helped me in the bakery on Thursday, August 7th. I know, I should’ve gotten her name, but she was the only lady working that day with two other gentlemen. I was purchasing donuts that were already in a plastic container. I asked her if she had any boxes I could put them in, instead of the container. She was VERY helpful and went in the back to check. She brought out a box and transferred the donuts from one container to the other for me. I appreciated the customer service she provided. She was patient and helpful. These donuts were a gift for my niece who had just graduate from the police academy. The whole presentation was a success. Thank you again for your help!

3 stars because they always have expired food on the shelves. For shame!!! I look and check and spend valuable time ensuring I won’t DIE from such horrendous omissions. I slightly exaggerate, but still. They still feed me and put food in my belly so they are redeeming themselves. Customer service is pretty good most of the time. No complaints there. My last time in there was today where Amanda H assisted in the checkout process. Cool enough. 3⁄5 Stars for the near misses I experience on every food foraging occasion. Yup

There’s not really anything wrong with this location, I just don’t like Ralphs because it’s expensive. I won’t go there unless I have coupons or gift certificates. We went last night and got $ 102 worth of food but only paid $ 30 out of pocket after their store discounts and a $ 40 gift certificate. They’re not my kind of store, but it’s a clean well maintained place. It’s not in the best location simply because if you turn out the wrong exit, you have to drive a half mile to turn around just to make a left turn.

I’m here on March 4, 2014. I noticed a half gallon of milk on sale, picked it up and noticed that it’s a full two days past its expiration date. I said something to the cashier, who was very nice about it and even discounted the good milk I was buying, but I’m disgusted, and I won’t be returning here.

The cashier was just rude to me. She had a bad attitude and got mad when she saw I was buying 12 bottles of liquor. Let me tell you something missy, the deal shows buy 6 bottles and get 30 percent off. I am Mexican and we drink so I bought 12 bottles for my party. She was getting all upset with me asking me all these personal questions. I did not appreciate that. She then got mad cause I had a coupon for $ 4 off when I buy juice or soda. I bought juice or soda and she did not accept my coupon. She said the juice or soda must be $ 4.00. Well sunshine, I bought 42 liters for $ 1.50 a piece. I think I had managed to cover that. She was just a horrible manager. I doubt I will ever come back to this location again.

This is a great location that is thoroughly stocked, with staff that are always friendly and helpful. Decent prices across the board, especially in the fresh veggies and fruit… and yes, they keep the place clean! Reason enough, I say.

4⁄5 Stars for this Ralph’s that I come to frequently! CHECKOUTTHEPICS I TOOK!!! This Review’s Cast of Characters (1) LEE: from the Meat Department (2) DEBBIE: The Cashier (3) JULIANA M.: The Bagger/Courtesy Clerk I. CLEAN? Yeah you betcha! I wasn’t slipping on banana peels or lost receipts, and there wasn’t a «B» rating from the Health Department, so it was definitely a good sign from the start. The floors looked super shiny, but that might have been due to the 20MILLION volt lights they have dangling from the ceiling. II. CUSTOMERSERVCE? (a) A guy named LEE from the MEATDEPARTMENT – So I had a question about the difference in taste between 93% lean ground turkey, and 99% lean ground turkey, so I hit the button to call for HELP. LEE was walking by and asked if I needed help. We engage in the brief conversation about how the one with more fat usually has more taste to it(makes since), and that he usually buys the 93% lean ground turkey. Seemed like a nice guy. I give my buddy LEE a 5⁄5 on the ol’ customer service scale. (b) DEBBIE as Cashier — JULIANA M. as bagger DEBBIE – At checkout, we stood in DEBBIE’S line, with a homeless guy in front of us. I payed careful attention to how she treated this homeless guy(individual between homes at the moment), because I think you can tell a lot about someone by how they treat the less fortunate. Overall, she treated him with respect, even when some of his responses were WTF. Toward me, she asked me how I was doing, and even called me «hun.» Now I am not from the south, but whenever I hear«hun» it makes me feel like I’m receiving some southern hospitality. I like =) 4⁄5 Stars for DEBBIE JULIANA M. – The bagger JULIANA M.(I made sure not to forget the«M») was nice and upbeat. I wish I could emphasis through italics the«upbeat.» I use to be a bagger back in my younger days, and no one ever says hi to the baggers/courtesy clerks. YEAH I KNOW, it’s a crying shame smh. The groceries were all packaged according to temperature, and although there was nothing to smash up, she did a very good job protecting the structural integrity of the boxed goods. 5⁄5 Stars for the upbeat JULIANA(with an M). OVERALL Overall I give this Ralph’s 4⁄5 Stars. Nothing fundamentally wrong, I’m just a hard one to woo over.

5 stars for the fact that they have Its It Ice cream sandwiches in a 12 pack for only $ 10.00! That is a deal and a half if I ever saw one. If you dont know what Its Its are, go grab some. Its the greatest ice cream sandwich ever(Oatmeal cookies with vanilla ice cream in the middle, covered in dark chocolate) Its a crack sandwich… possibly the greatest thing since sliced bread. When you think about it… its way better than sliced bread! As far as the store itself, it was alright. Cashier was friendly and they have decent prices with your rewards card. Got a bunch of fruit(blueberries, raspberries, strawberries) and some other stuff.
