Wow! And that is an understatement! Wow! Wow! Wow! Absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had dealing with a lawyer. If you need a QDRO or COAP drafted or reviewed, contact QDRO Helper. I contacted QDRO Helper after I received a COAP draft in the mail from my ex’s attorney. (A COAP is the term for a QDRO when it comes to the FERS or CSRS retirement systems of the federal government). Looking through this proposed COAP, it looked like a foreign language to me. I contacted Madeline, who answered every question I asked her. What I noticed right away is that Madeline answered every question, and never tried to sell me on any of her services. That is unheard of!!!
After talking to Madeline, I realized that it would be well worth the money to have her review the proposed COAP I had received from my ex. She has a very reasonable flat rate and that would be well worth it for peace of mind alone.
I called Madeline back later and told her that I was going to retain her. She told me to go to her website where I signed all forms and paid the fee. She was very busy at the time so she told me it would be a few weeks, which was fine. Well, it was fine with me but not with my ex’s lawyer. My ex’s lawyer sent a letter threatening to take the COAP to court if I didn’t sign their proposed COAP and get it back to them right away. I told Madeline this and she said to have them contact her if they had any problems. I did in fact tell my ex’s lawyers to give Madeline a call. When they called her, she told them that she was representing me and that they could expect a response in a few weeks.
About 3 weeks after I retained Madeline, I received an email from her with all of the proposed revisions. I emailed the proposed revisions to my ex’s lawyer and didn“t get a response. Madeline contacted me a week later and asked me if she could help me with anything. I asked her if she could fax the proposed revisions to my ex’s lawyer. She had no problem doing that and a week later I received a new COAP from the other lawyer in the mail!!! This new COAP included ALL of the revisions Madeline recommended.
That is why I started this review with «WOW»! I paid a flat rate which is just for a review, period. Madeline did so many things above and beyond what I paid for, it’s just unbelievable! Most lawyers will charge you for every minute they spend talking to you, as well as mailing and faxing services. I can’t thank her enough for what she did for me.
If you are in the market for a QDRO lawyer, hire Madeline at QDRO Helper, you WILL NOT be sorry!!! 5 Stars aren’t enough, seriously!!! Thank you Madeline!!!

The last part of my divorce is done thanks to QDRO Helper. My ex always handled the finances so it was great dealing with an attorney who actually took the time to explain the division of the retirement plans to me and to answer all of my questions. I did a lot of online searching and QDRO Helper’s price couldn’t be beat. It was also really convenient because I worked with the attorney by email and mail and didn’t have to come to the office since I live in Orange county.

Keep in mind. if you need an attorney for anything IN COURT. you gotta do that on your own — but drawing up the paperwork and getting it approved by the plan administrators?!

Couldn’t beat the price for the 3 QDROs I needed after my divorce. Everything was completed and filed at court in 7 weeks. Staff was always friendly on the phone and I did everything online. I wish my entire divorce had been this easy! If you need a QDRO, you should give them a call.
