Cat is excellent at pedicures and gel manicures, especially French manicures. The salon is clean and centrally located with plenty of parking. Even when they are busy I have never waited longer than 20 or so minutes.

First time here. Found on Unilocal. I was so frustrated as I couldn’t find a good nail tech in this area. Donna took time to listen to my needs and took care to make my nails look amazing again. She did a fill and gel color in 35mins. I love my nails and will certainly be a long term customer! My total $ 38 included the take off of 6 acyclic nails to rectify(another salon in Hillcrest poor work), a fill and the gel color. I love my nails!!!

It seemed like a nice calm day today and no one was in when I was here… I really liked how the ladies kind of kept to themselve’s. I’m not much for small talk personally. I really enjoyed how rentals they were with everything. I’m very far along in my pregnancy so they were very gentle and careful with me. They do the massage very well and got the circulation back into my legs and feet and my swelling was gone! She was very careful to not hit any trigger spots or nerves in the foot. I wish they had some more options on terms of services(like calus removal, sea salt scrubs etc) aside from just aroma therapy and detox but every place is different. I did regular nail polish and it came out pretty well. May go back but it was definitely a spur of the moment place.

I got a gel manicure from this locations 6 days ago and the gel nail polish has already lifted and came off. The technicians are rude and obviously talk about you. For a pedicure and gel manicure I paid $ 65 dollars and it definitely wasn’t worth it.

Fell in love with this place. Between the people and the atmosphere it’s pretty fantastic! Dillon and Casey are my favorites!!!

I previously had a good experience here. They got me in right away and were friendly. My second time back I came for a gel mani and pedi. As the pedicure was going on a young gentleman started to take my gel polish off. He kept pouring acetone over my hands to the point it was spilling on my clothes. Instead of waiting for the acetone to soak in and then take the polish off, he just went to take it off and when it wouldn’t come off poured more on my hands. I backed away when it was spilling on my clothes and he just said it’s okay. Now I have peeling skin on my hands, which I have never had before. Hopefully this is used for a training opportunity more than anything else. Again the place was clean and everyone was friendly, but there have to be appropriate processes in place to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Horrible service. I walked in for a pedicure. I was told it would take ten minutes, but ½ an hour later I was still waiting. The pedicure was awkward and not relaxing, even with my low expectations. She cut the cuticle on my big toe pretty bad, and the polish was all over the place. I won’t be going back.

I tried this place for a last minute manicure, as I needed my nails spruced up after moving, no polish, no acrylics, no gel, just buffed shiny. The technician was otherwise okay, but plucked at my cuticles instead of trimming them, which was annoying. Otherwise, my nails looked fine. I did actually come back a week later for a pedicure, and had the more lengthy pedicure with foot massage, which was awesome. Linda was my technician, and I would highly recommend her. My only issue at all is that this salon needs to be cleaner, the stations were all in need of cleaning. And with the amount of staff members sitting around at times, it would not take much to wipe down a few things, or pay a service to clean once in a while. I will go back again for a simple manicure or pedicure.

The place was messy and my manicure was awful. Parts of my nail only had 1 coat and others had 2. The top coat wasn’t applied to my whole nail. I wouldn’t go here ever again.

I have been trying to find my go to nail person, and finally did at this place. Kim does a great job I need to have my nails semi-short and I love black gel with the clear gel coat. She makes my nails perfect and I type a lot at my job 5 days a week. My nails last me a good three weeks before I need my fills done again. Love her work!

Wow … Just walked in asking for a color change. The English is poor. Had to repeat myself 4 times and the nail tech rolls her eyes at me ??? Really. So unprofessional. Learn better English color and acrylic are two different words my dear. Poor service

The technician was talkative and distracted by all of the other workers. Massage was half-ass to say the least. With all the other options available in San Diego for a pedicure, I will go to a different place the next time for sure!

I have been here quite a few times. The pedicures are on the higher end and my manicures usually show signs of chipping the next day. My toes stay pretty safe during the winter but easily chip when I wear flip flops more often. The one thing I do enjoy is not feeling pressured to get french tip or a $ 5 flower. I noticed the quality of massage is directly related to the amount of attention the girl has. If the girl is distracted in a side conversation with another provider, the«massage» turns into an awkward rub. Hopefully I will be finding another place closer to my house that is more up my alley. Don’t forget cash to tip

Honestly, i wasn’t happy with the results. The only good part was the hand massage which felt soooo good. The price for gel is too expensive. I came in after surfing and before work so i needed a quick manicure and i needed it to dry quickly but it didn’t. My nail polish cracked the same day. The next day, two of my nails were completely chipped off and then on the third day, about 80% of my nails were bare. It didn’t last three days, i was very disappointed.

It’s your standard place for manis and pedis– nothing special. The technicians I’ve seen have all been friendly, but inattentive at times. They also offer waxing services– painful though– so I don’t recommend it! The pros are parking, availability to walk-in, and reasonable pricing(at least per San Diego standards). My mani’s have held up pretty well for a good duration so it’s a reliable spot that meets your needs.

The ladies here do great work! I don’t normally get my nails done, because I’m pretty particular when it comes to polish, but these ladies meet all of my standards and above! I’ve had two different technicians and they were both kind and patient when I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do(I screenshot a bunch of ideas on Pinterest and couldn’t peg down one idea by the time I got there. Woops!). They’re clean and have a good selection of regular and gel polishes(what I opt for every time). I recommend bringing cash because if you pay with a card there is no tip line. I learned that the hard way the first time and felt horrible since I never carry cash! They do have an atm there but I just came back later with a tip for my technician. I recommended this place highly if you’re looking for a new«nail spot.»

Prestige is my #1 nail spot! They have won my heart! ALL girls are awesome there but my favorite nail girl is Casey but for pedi any of the girls are good. They have a funny and professional environment. They know exactly what they are doing! I used to have in grown nails in my toes that would hurt so much and coming here has stopped all of that! They worked their magic and it takes forever for my toes to hurt again! Blessed to have found this place! Short and simple is all that’s needed! Don’t think twice about this nail place you won’t regret it!
