PLEASE! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GYPSY F*CKS! The food is just as unpleasant as the service. you feel guilty for calling and asking about the «specials» and they’ll shout at you for asking about anything. THEN, they’ll overcharge the HELL out of you.
Gotta admit, the phony photos & 5-​star reviews are a nice touch.
Don’t become another unsatified, pissed-​off customer like the rest of us

When order arrived it was missing a salad. When we called we were told that a salad would be delivered when they are in our area again. 40 minutes later we called and were told the salad would be here «pretty soon.»
Cold pizza and we are all waiting to eat until everyone has their food.
You’d think they would make a special trip to deliver food they forgot to deliver…

This review is strictly for the menu. I have never seen a menu with so many mistakes in my life. I know there might be one or two errors, but this menu takes the crown. If you are at a near by hotel or if they have the nerve to slip this under your door, please take a moment and look at it. As a business, how can you continue to send out this menu. Judging by the reviews of fellow people, stay far away from this place. Remember my review is just about their menu. I will never eat at a place that can’t spell diet (die) coke, mozzarella (mozarella) seeds (seds), discount (discound), boneless (bonaless), subject (subjet) and more. Such a shame. Anyone who gave this 5 stars has to work there or be a friend of this establishment.

Definitely not a bad place. Not sure why people gave it 1 star reviews. The Calzone was great… HUGE serving enough for two. Salad wasn’t as good because dressing was put on and was a big soggy. But I would order the Calzone again. For $ 13 it’s worth it. Keep in mind for tax and delivery it’ll be close to $ 18. Still not bad.

This place is Amazing. Always freash food made daily. The pastas, pizzas, salads are all very fabulous.

I had the pepperoni pizza, Caesar salad and the bacon boneless chicken breast… it was very good and delivered timely and hot… too bad they don’t deliver to L. A…a little pricey though, but still good

Ordered some of the Mediterranean plates from here. It was very disappointing and overpriced. Hummus tasted horrible (a tub of hummus from the super market would’ve tasted better), pita bread was stale. The chicken kebab was decent but the beef kebab was so tough you’d have to be a caveman to chew it. Rice that came with the kebabs was dry and bland. If you’re looking for quick and tasty Mediterranean food, look elsewhere! I cannot believe they charge $ 11-​$ 14 a plate for this poor quality of food!

We ordered two large pizzas… spaghetti with meatballs… eggplant …and it was fantastic. The young lady who delivered our pizza was really nice. I would highly recommend this place. Prices are reasonable to.

Amazing food and presentation! I had a great experience and the food taste was delicious it is a place to definitely come back. I had a large veggie pesto pizza and it lasted no more than 15 minutes at my house even my boyfriend who does not eat veggies loved it. I would post a picture but like I said it smelled and tasted so good that we had no time to take pictures. Next check in I will definitely post some

I’ve been to this place a couple of times, each time I came with a group of friend. Amazing! Their foods are tasty; pizzas with thin crust and salads are freshly made and very good quality, too. The eggplant rolls is over the top, delicious, I loved it.
The owners and staffs were very hospitable. Definitely, I am coming back here soon.

Terrible. I fell for their scam. «Combo for 21 bucks“‘cost me over 28 bucks. Additionally, the driver was in a hurry and wouldn’t let me check the pizza before jetting out. I checked the pizza and they messed up the order. Tried calling no answer. Tried chasing the driver down, and he sped off. Salad was slimy and gross. Pizza was cold, and rock solid. Only thing that was eatable was the coke that came in the coke can. I’m calling my credit card company.

Incompetent idiots.
Visiting San Diego had a flyer through the hotel door. Thought we’d try it. Estimated time 45 mins, but actually took 1hr 15. When it turned up they had the order wrong and the veggie pizza had turned into salami and sausage. How utterly incompetent. We rejected the late delivery so have no idea if the incorrect order was any good.

I made this account specifically to warn would-​be patrons of this restaurant’s delivery service. Peppy Bite slips their menus under hotel doors in an attempt to fool unwary tourists into buying their mediocre, overpriced food. We ordered a pizza (which was actually alright), beef skewers, and a Greek salad. The beef was overcooked and the rice it was served with was obviously not cooked correctly (did not coagulate). The Greek salad was a small portion for its price and was also drenched in dressing.
Those five-​star reviews are complete bogus. None of them criticize the establishment. Save yourself the trouble and don’t order from Peppy Bite.
Also, our hotel’s staff recommended against ordering there. So they *do* have a bad reputation even with the locals.

I got some takeout from Peppy’s…Delivery took little over an hour but when someone delivers you grub after 10pm in San Diego you don’t complain! Beef wrap had great flavor and beef was sooo tender. Plus it was HUGE! I’m stuffed, it was tasty and fresh. Happy camper gives 2 thumbs up

Just ordered the vegetarian penne pasta with pesto sauce and garlic bread. Amazing! I love the new owners and the renovations to this restaurant. It has a completely different vibe and I will definitely be back!

Went with a big group of 7 people and got three large pizzas: pesto, Mediterranean, and half great Italian half cheese with a side of eggplant rolls, Greek salad and Caesar salad.
Everything was amazing! They probably have one of the best pizzas in San Diego. My favorite was the Pesto pizza. After talking to the owner I find that they make it fresh themselves. No wonder it’s so good!
The salads were good, especially the Greek salad and I’m not even a salad person. The eggplant roll was really good too I definitely recommend it.
The service was excellent. The owners were very friendly and we had a really good time. I am for sure going back sometime soon.
The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean with Mediterranean music playing. Good ambiance.
Next time I think I’ll try one of their pastas.
I recommend everyone to try it out. Especially at the restaurant as opposed to delivery.

The first word that came to mind… ick…
Imagine this scene… rather than being out enjoying a beautiful day in wonderful San Diego, our intrepid hero is stuck in his hotel room on a never-​ending conference call. As the drones on the call droned on, the hunger pangs got worse and worse… *swish*… what’s that? A menu slid under my door from Peppy Bite! Truly a sign from the Gods!
I called for a pizza. The person on the phone told me about 45 minutes, but it showed up within 30. I hungrily dove in to the pizza.
The cheese seemed like it had been cooling off for about 2 hours. And, it certainly was not very hot. It had a taste similar to diluted dishwater. Not that I have been tasting diluted dishwater, but what I imagine it would taste like.
In all seriousness, this was the worse pizza I have had in years. I obviously ordered from a different Peppy Bite than the other reviewers.
Perhaps I got the one bad meal they have ever served. Perhaps I accidentally ordered a pizza from Peppy’s Cheese and Cardboard Store. I don’t know, but I’m very disappointed.
Do yourself a favor, call Dominos or Papa Johns. Or, order from Peppy Bite and if you had a better experience, please prove me wrong. But, please have more than one or two reviews on your profile.

The pizza is AMAZING! You can tell all the ingredients are fresh and good quality. We ordered a large Great Italian, and it was seriously one of the best pizzas I’ve tasted! They also have pretty solid Mediterranean food. My wife ordered the grilled chicken plate and she loved it. This place is truly a diamond in the rough

Not sure what crack the people who rated this disgusting place 5 stars were smoking. The food was, firstly, an hour and a half wait. When it was supposed to be 45 minutes. When the guy finally arrived the pizza box was smashed. The «cheesy breadsticks» were nothing but shreds of bread. SHREDS of pita bread with hard stale cheese peeling off of two pieces. The pizza smelled and tasted like puke. The garden salad that we ordered ranch dressing with? Came in a cardboard box with *shocker* no dressing at all. Did I mention the pizza tastes like vomit? Yeah. The smell is still lingering in my hotel room. We are positive the pizza delivery guy fished our dinner out of a nearby dumpster. Save yourselves. Run far away.
