I have financed or re-​financed homes approximately a dozen times over the past 15 years. This group uses same the sales techniques as every other mortgage brokers. The sales representative Angel (missed his last name) tried to convince me that the closing costs are not paid out of my pocket. When I pointed out that it will ultimately be out of my pocket, whether I pay the costs at that time of closing or they are added to the loan amount, he became rather impertinent. When I insisted to get precise answers to my precise questions it was most important to him to point out that he did not want to waste his time with customers who are not committed. I call this lousy customer service.

I have worked with Angel Medina in the past and have always had good service from him, whether it’s just a question, a purchase or a refi he has been there to help me any time it’s needed for me and my family I have referred him to. He truly cares about what’s best for his clients no matter how easy, difficult, large or small the loans are. I will continue to work with and refer anyone in need of his help over at People’s Home Equity.

Anita was hugely helpful when we bought our first home a few months back. She answered all of our questions — even a lot of realty questions, as she used to be a agent — and walked us through the process step by step. This was our first home purchase in a state we’re not originally from. We really couldn’t have done it without her help.
She continues to answer questions to this day (even sometimes on the weekend!) when we’re unsure of some of the strange mail that is typically sent out after a home purchase.

Immediately, Kenny put us at ease and assured that he could work his magic to resolve our current financial issues.
Yes, Kenny is easy going and knowledgeable, but on top of that, he made us feel like we were the most important client he had. His simplified approach to our issues made us feel confident in the choices we were making, and we were truly impressed at how he efficiently and expediently processed our loan — all the while keeping us up to date on the entire process. As first-​time homebuyers, my wife and I didn’t know what to expect from the experience. Yes, we did online research and spoke with friends and family about the process, but you never truly know until you are going through the process. Which is why I am glad we chose People’s Home Equity!
Anita was very patient and proactive. Our lending process was a little more complicated than the normal purchase, but she always stayed in communication and was willing to explain the process to us.

The staff there goes above and beyond to ensure their client’s needs are satisfied. They did a great job educating me on the loan process and the specifics of my purchasing power.
