Specialties

PB Post Plus specializes in P.O. Box Rentals, Notary, Fingerprinting, Packaging & Shipping Services.

We offer the lowest rates for P.O. Boxes in the area with a minimal $ 5.00 set-up fee, and an assortment of services that you won’t get from our corporate competitors. Rentals start at just $ 30 per quarter. (However, if you visit our website at www.pbpostplus.com you can print out a coupon which will give you six months for an incredible $ 40.00.) Our P.O. Boxes offer you a street address, rather than a «PMB Address.» which is ideal for small businesses.

We also offer Rolled Fingerprinting services at just $ 20 per card, Internet for only $ 2.00 per hour, and the the most economical shipping and packaging rates you’ll find anywhere in Pacific Beach. Because we’re an independent operator we don’t have to pay marketing and royalties fees and we are therefore able to offer much lower rates on shipping than most of our competitors. OUR PACKAGING SERVICES ARE OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE.

Meet the Business Owner

Jim O’Connell P.

Business Owner

Although Jim is a native of Pacific Beach, he and his family grew up in Ireland when his father, who hails from Limerick in Ireland, brought the entire family — including six children — back there to live in 1970.

Jim returned to San Diego in 1987 where he spent 15 years with the San Diego Union Tribune — first as an Editorial Aide and then as an Account Executive.

In 2002, Jim turned his hand to real estate before purchasing PB Post Plus — formerly known as PB Mailbox — in 2006 from Karen Maguire who had run the business for 18 years.

Owning PB Post Plus gives Jim a daily opportunity to meet and talk with new and interesting people. He often describes the business as a «bar without the beer taps.»

Jim finds his business challanging yet exciting as he is constantly trying to ascertain what the people want and then adjusting his service to provide it.

Jim looks forward to seeing you on your next visit to PB Post Plus.
