It’s a nice deli in a liquor store in PB. Just like other places PB can be tough at time but if you are in the area this is a good quick and easy place to grab a bite. They have a good number of options available. Nothing crazy but all your normal favorites you would find in a deli. The deli uses good fresh ingredients that you can definitely taste and they let you make your sandwich a combo with either chips and a soda or fruit and a water. So you can be a healthy as you want. If it is your first time here. Heads up for you. You order your sandwich at the deli they give you a ticket and then you can figure out is you want to make it a combo. Being a liquor store they have many other snacks and drinks as well. I liked to grab a candy bar for dessert after my meal. When you are ready bring your ticket and any snacks you picked up to the counter. The person there has always been nice and courteous. And by the time I pay the sandwich is ready. They do toast your sandwiches too if you would like to you can get it nice and crispy. And if you are hungry and want to eat right away there are a few tables outside that you can sit and enjoy your food. There are no umbrellas so it might be a little bright but hey you are in San Diego so I’m guessing you like the sun.

This is my favorite deli to grab n go! Call in your order to have it all ready for you to pick up. They are super friendly and have a great variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and more! They have daily specials. I personally like most of their sandwiches and especially their chef salad. Highly recommend if you didn’t pack your lunch or don’t feel like packing.

This is seriously one of the greatest hidden jems in all of PB. The people that work here are equally as amazing as the salads and sandwiches they make! The man that is usually working at the deli and making the sandwiches(I’m pretty sure his name is B or Bear or something) is really accommodating if you want to add things or make anything a wrap or try something new all together that’s not even on the menu! My roommate and I are both vegetarians and they have the best veggie patties that they will add to any sandwich or salad that you order as a substitute for any meat that would usually come on it. The sandwiches and salads are all huge! Definitely give this place 5 stars.

seriously the best BLT in San Diego. I used to like Sully’s okay, they did when I didn’t feel like driving to Kensington… but this place! YUM!

This place is by far my new favorite joint to grab a sandwich! I recently moved into the neighborhood and my new roommates and I decided we would give it a try a couple weeks ago. Judging by the packed parking lot, I knew it had to be good. We walked in and the first thing that caught my attention was the heavenly smell of fresh bread in the air. Queue the drooling. There was a bit of a line, which was intimidating at first, but it moved pretty fast. The menu was pretty extensive so everyone will find something they like. The guy at the counter taking the orders was friendly enough. Just don’t expect to have a long chatty conversation with him. He’s busy and is very to the point. Our order did not take too much time considering there was 5 of us who all something different. We managed to snag a table despite the crowd. I ordered a classic BLT. I know it’s pretty hard to screw up a BLT, but he must have sprinkled fairy dust in my sandwich. The bacon was abundant and cooked to perfection. Just the way I like it. The tomato tasted farm fresh, and the lettuce was crisp. Do yourself a favor and buy yourself a BLT.

Excellent deli sandwiches… fresh boars head meat. One of my favorite parts is their amazing selection of kombucha… I HIGHLYRECOMMEND trying the Health Aid kombucha. my fav flavor is ginger lemon. We. usually get the turkey club sandwiches and add a couple of things.

I’m really glad Unilocal led me to discover this place. It is hiding inside the convenience store market on the corner. I was craving a BLT so I got a half BLT sandwich, cup of lobster and crab bisque, pickle and drink. All that for $ 7! It was a lot too and I couldn’t even quite finish it(although I did also purchase a bag of chips as well on top of it). All the food was really good and super affordable as well. Awesome spot!

The wifey and I love the sandwiches here! We go about once every week or two and are never let down. They are very friendly and happy to modify a sandwich to fit your preferences. The chicken pesto panini is excellent, but so are most sandwiches. I would go here over the majority of deli’s in the PB area for the sandwiches, but the convenience makes it a no-brainer. Ed is the man!

PB’s secret sandwich spot! The best sandwiches/wraps/panini’s… make it a meal deal with chips and a soda for about $ 7 bucks! Chicken pesto and veggie wrap are my go-to’s. The guy and gal that work the deli are always friendly and never disappoint with their sandwiches. They’ll even toss in an extra pickle!

Had it twice now. For being in a market/convenience store you really do not expect it to be that good. It is. Going to go there a lot more. The avocado turkey blt is was tasty however the chicken pesto is just something else. I want to try other things but the chicken pesto may stop me from doing such here. 12⁄20 Ate here again The chicken pesto again. Always. Soo good. 12⁄21 Really have to get the hours down bc tried going again today and closed the deli side at 7. Either way really glad to have discovered this place. As far as the convenience store itself that it’s in, the employees are all friendly and talkative.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches! Best BLT on whole wheat I’ve ever had and the tomato bisque was scrumptious. Hit the spot on a fall day. Lots of healthy snack choices and beverages as well!

The PB deli inside the small marketplace is absolutely amazing. I have been going there for quite some time. There sandwiches are the best and the freshest. I love the focaccia bread! The workers there are always in a good mood and happy to serve you. I highly recommend this place! They always have a daily special that comes with chips and a drink. Its amazing!!! Check it out.
