Payless Shoe Source

I don’t know why, but more than once, I have forgotten to bring the right kind of shoes when going on vacation! So I did it again while traveling to San Diego! This time, I needed a comfortable pair of shoes that I could walk long distances in. After all, San Diego requires a lot of walking to take in all that it has to offer such as Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, parks, beaches, restaurants and shops!
As in the past, Payless Shoe Source once again came to my rescue! My nephew knew right where to take me to search for the right pair of shoes. After trying on several options, I finally narrowed my choice down to the most practical pair of sneakers that I could easily slip on and off with out having to bend over often (old age back problems I presume). We were in a time crunch to get our touristing day started, or I would have bought a few more pairs of shoes, but I made the sacrifice not to hold up my family members waiting patiently by.
The young lady at the cash register was very nice and polite as she handled the transaction quickly and efficiently. It was still early in the morning and I just couldn’t wait to start wearing my brand new shoes as we set off to the San Diego Zoo! That day just kept getting better and better, and those shoes really made the difference!

So I just left this store because for one I bought shoes a couple days ago and the sales clerk forgot to give me a copy of my sales purchase. I came to return the shoes for another pair that would fit my appropriate size upon returning the assistant manager was not cooperative with me she insisted and I needed a receipt otherwise I would only get a credit back of her computer systems value of the shoe when I just bought them 2 days prior, which is a 5 dollar difference. I told her I had my bank statement and she said that wasn’t good enough and there was nothing she could do, wow. I was so furious I left the shoes I had previously bought with her because I can’t wear something that doesn’t fit! She should probably try to best suit the customer and accommodate the customer with a bank statement, we get that this is the only job you have but don’t dismiss the customer who is furious because you did nothing to help as you stated you would do nothing. Wow whoever promoted you to assistant manager should really reconsider your customer services skills, really. You’re a known Corporation and I will not stop with just this Unilocal review I will write the corporation to let them know house there small businesses reflect their big business. Pure ridiculous.

When I need a pair of shoes that I plan to wear out and destroy, I come to places like Payless Shoe Source! This location is in the Mission Valley Mall and is a descent sized store. The place is usually kept pretty clean and it’s easy to navigate. The selection is a bit limited for my taste but what I do like, I usually can find in my size. The prices are great and the quality is what you are paying for, though I have been able to hold on to some pairs of shoes for over a year when I purchased from here. What I really like about this store is the customer service. I have usually been greeted when I came in and followed up on while browsing during my visits. Considering there is usually only 1 employee on the floor at any time I have came in, I must say I am very impressed. Overall, if you’re looking for cheap shoes, then Payless is a good place to go and this is a great location to shop at.

Ashley is an absolute sweet heart. I’m not from the area and needed heel grips, ran in quickly. She has great customer service!

We came here for tap shoes for two little girls sized 3 girls and 9 women’s. They had exactly what we were looking for and even ballet shoes. We also picked up some flip flops, sandals, work shoes, earrings, and two purses. One of the purses matched the shoes exactly!
The girls give the shoes 4 1\2 stars! They wore the shoes without socks or tights and had no blisters or complaints about the shoes. They liked the way they looked and everything! Tap class was a success and so was shopping at payless.
The service was great!
The store was clean and organized!
They helped us until we were finished. They even stayed open late to help us.

Im paying Less for shoes,… that i know ill only wear once…
thanks to them, and well all those once and a while events! i now have 50 pairs of shoes!!!
does a woman need that many shoes?!
