World class! When I went to him for the first time, it was after seeing tons of chiropractors sometimes twice a week. The drugs that I was prescribed either made me dizzy, nauseous, or otherwise not myself. I had no alternative in my mind than to spend money on massages and chiropractors. One doctor, who saw me several times a week, actually said «It sucks to be you.» He was at the bottom of his profession. Dr. Dorman is at the top.
I was referred to Dr. Dorman by a fabulous massage therapist. Dr. Dorman literally made my kundalini energy flow again. In other words, he connected my upper body with my lower body on a physical level. This connection, over time, has made me think clearer and my facialist says that my skin is «sufficiently hydrated.» In my thirties no one ever said that! I have definitely slowed down the aging that had been in progress. His referrals have also been top notch. I pray that he stays sane and healthy to continue taking care of all his clients in the manner that Ricardo and the others have described. A rare find who continues to get better by improving himself.

I started seeing Dr. Dorman a few years ago after a car accident. I had always been a little intimadated about seeing a chiropractor as I had some friends who had seen other and had bad experiences.
Not only does Dr. Dorman welcome you with a smile and immediately put you at ease, he is also incredibly knowledgable, and his treatment worked wonders for me. That was three years ago, and he helped me recover from my accident and also from an unrelated shoulder surgery. One of the reasons I had been uncertain about chiropractors in the past was that I heard that you had to keep going and going and going. You felt good — but you couldn’t stop or you’d be back to square one. Dr. Dorman actually tells you when he sees you improving and will recommend if you can cut back. He truly is in the business for the health and well-​being of his patients, not for the money. A true gem!

This morning my day started off with an appt to see my new chiropractor, Dr. Dorman. I m so glad I went to see him! He was absolutely FANTASTIC! I can t stress it enough how he straighten me up! I kept procrastinating to see someone new, but the outcome was great! Set an appt up for my daughter, so we ll see what she has to say… I know she won t be disappointed… Thank you Dr. Dorman!

Dr. Dorman is super. He is the end of my search for a San Diego Chiropractor. Bam! My very discerning (and I might mean picky) friend recommended him. I’m very picky too and Dr. Dorman is a really great chiropractor. He gives you a massage at the start of each session. The massage breaks up adhesions and prepares you for the adjustment. The adjustments are thorough. He’s not the guy who has 5 minutes to say hi, adjust you and eject you from the table. You can go anywhere in town for that. He is the guy who spends the time it takes to relax the body and nervous system. His hands are gold!
Also, he’s affordable and he sees kids as well. Yay!

Dr. Dorman is the best! He really cares about the well being of his patients and it shows. He’s super nice and caring! He’s seriously the best chiropractor I’ve been to, he works hard to address problem areas. He is great on fitting me into his schedule whenever I need. He only recommends to you what is needed, he really wants you to feel better. It’s hard to find such a great doctor! I recommend him to everyone!!!

All I can say is WOW!!! I am floating on air after my first and definitely not last visit with Dr. Dorman.
He is a great guy, personable, knowledgable, great with his hands and the adjustment was perfect.
He got to know me first, asked me questions, listened carefully and then proceeded with a deep tissue massage on my back primarily from the waist to my neck. He concentrated on my left shoulder/​neck/​blade area because that’s the area the was bothering me… but he also did a thorough job on my right side too. He stretched me and then adjusted me.
He’s awesome and I have a follow up appointment for Tuesday. I almost wish Tuesday was already here because his massage was so great. I thought I would be creeped out by a guy giving me a massage but he was completely professional and definitely nothing to be worried about. If you’re a woman and feel weird about that, DON’T, because he is all professional!!!
Go to see him whether you have pain or not. If I can fit in a visit once a month I am going to include that into my 2011 budget!!!

I have chronic neck pain but when it got so bad that it was keeping me up at night I decided I had to stop trying to tough it out. I’ve gone 5 times and really feel a big difference and for the first time in a very very long time feel that maybe I don’t have to have chronic neck pain.
I would recommend Dr. Dorman to anyone. Nice guy, great massage followed by spinal adjustment and very reasonably priced!

I have been going to Dr. Dorman for about 12 years – I go once a month for «maintenance» — He is simply the best. The best in every sense of the word. He is an incredible chiropractor – I have recommended friends who were hesitant to do chiropractic adjustments based on bad experience or misinformation, who had incredibly positive experiences and results with Dr. Dorman. Words cannot do justice to the multitude of skills that Dr. Dorman uses to create well-​being. He has such an amazing background in so many healing disciplines. Chiropractic, massage, hypnosis, meditation, I could go on and on. He doesn’t really overwhelm you with any of this, just continues the conversation if you are interested. I appreciate his incredible sense of ethics, spirituality, and good living practices. You get so much more than an exceptional chiropractic experience when you see Dr. Dorman – you leave feelilng fabulous in both mind and body. You can’t beat that.

Dr. Dorman was kind enough to see me when I needed an emergency chiropractic appointment. He completely «fixed» my neck within a few visits. Now I see him regularly for maintenance and continue to feel great! He truly cares about his patients. I feel confident recommending anyone to see him. I’m so glad I found him!

I have been going to Dr. Dorman since 1995. He is scrupulously honest, does just what is medically necessary, has a great bedside manner, and is an all around great chiropractor. He has helped me a ton over the years.
On top of that he is a really nice person! And also does a kind of self hypnosis called «Mind Gardening.»
I recommend Dr. D. to anyone without any hesitation.

First of all, I want to start off by saying that I nearly went to med school and that my father is a CT surgeon. In my family chiropractic is a four letter word. It seemed, at least to my sister and I, that going to see a chiropractor would be tantamount to taking sides against the family. Enough of that blather.
About five years ago I hurt my back while doing some dead lifts at the gym. I literally could not move — I was in complete agony. Out of desperation and self preservation I went to a chiropractor that a co-​worker had recommended. He adjusted me, made me pay for x-​rays, gave me all this nonsense and mumbo jumbo, made me sign up for two or three visits per week for the next five weeks. As I hobbled back into my car feeling exactly the same, except that I had spent money and now was scheduled to lose more money. I went back to one more session later that week and I was still in the exact same predicament — I canceled the remaining appointments.
I called my outrigger coach and explained that I wouldn’t be able to make it to practice. He immediately texted me Dr. Dorman’s information. My coach assured me that Dr. Dorman was for real.
At this point I was convinced that my father was right, that all chiropractors are frauds, quacks, and charlatans… BUT… I was still experiencing insufferable agony. I called, he was booked, but would stay late to see me.
I went into his office. I explained to him what happened. He examined me. He had me get on the table… This is where things took a remarkable (short term) turn for the worse. He did all sorts of body work, pressure point work, and really worked the area plus some spots on my left lat (that I thought wasn’t associated, but what do I know, right?)… Everything that he put me through hurt like a mo-​fo. I can still hear Dr. Dorman telling me to breath… Everything culminated in the adjustment.
Dr. Dorman helped me up off of the table. To my surprise (and joy) I was able to stand up straight and walk without a pronounced limp.
It was a freak’n miracle.
I went once more at the end of the week and against his advice actually raced that Saturday. But I was cured. He fixed me.
He isn’t one of those chiropractors who will try to up-​sell you, or try to get you to sign up for more sessions. He is real and he is a 100% straight shooter.
Since then I have been going back there between one and four times per year when I hurt my back doing something stupid.
