Description

Specialties

Passport Admissions helps students apply to college and graduate school. Specifically, we help students find schools that are a great fit for them, manage the stress of the application process, and write killer application essays. Our admissions experts will help you stand out and put your best foot forward in your essays and applications.

History

Established in 2007.

Passport is a team of experts all dedicated to one thing: helping you stand out. We’re extremely passionate about what we do, and we feel blessed to be able to work with such unique students every day.

The admissions process is needlessly complex. We’ve seen legions of overwhelmed students (and parents) come through our doors, and we know that mastering the admissions process can become a full time job for most students (what, you’ve got studying to do?) We’re here to help each student we work with decipher the admissions code and get back to the things they love.

An essential part of our mission is to educate the San Diego community on the admissions process by providing free speakers to student groups and parent nights. Since 2007, we’ve spoken over 250 times in Southern California. That’s an average of over 60 speeches per year!

By working with Passport, you allow us to continue to spread excellent information to the San Diego community!

Meet the Business Owner

Rob H.

Business Owner

Rob was born and raised in Nashville, attended the University of Michigan for undergrad, and met his wife on a Princeton Review company trip. Before founding Passport, Rob taught SAT, ACT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, and MCAT, trained hundreds of test prep instructors, and taught thousands of students around the country. Along the way, he learned just how hard it is to get good advice on the admissions process. Hence, after putting off law school for good, Rob decided to start Passport Admissions to work with students to overcome their educational obstacles.

Rob says, «I believe it’s my mission to help people navigate the frustrations and nuances of the admissions process. Keeping track of the different policies can become a full-time job for parents and students alike! I get immense satisfaction not just from helping my students but also from spreading useful information to the entire community.»
