Party City

I get it. You are a slow store. So you have to have less employees to equal less wages out. But there are 3 employees at the front. One on the phone at a register, taking a phone balloon order. 2 others blowing up balloons. I have been waiting for at least 5 mins in line and another customer just walked up behind me. WTF is goin on???

Much larger and less sad than the MV location. Way more selection. Of course they didn’t have the one thing I wanted (these mustache shot glasses that the MV location DOES have) but they’ve got a way bigger selection. Basically everything you can’t find at the MV location is here (and occasionally vice versa).
I walked the whole store and I was asked 3 times if I needed help. Quite refreshing from being ignored at the MV location!
They literally have everything I had been looking for in previous months at the MV location. Free ship to store, what!!! Parking is umm well. Yuck. It’s in a crowded busy mall and I did have to wait for someone to leave. But it was noon in the summer on a Friday so I wasn’t expecting smooth sailing.
All in all, the only thing I would have liked to seen is I could see some things were physically out or low on stock. They were stocking when I left. Odd time to stock but I guess anytime before Friday night is good.
Between the two, it’s tough. Just from size I would have to go with this location but I guess Party City is Party City no matter where you put it. ;-)

Supplies!
During our hunt and gather mission for party favors for a Mini-​me bday party, I somehow felt like a temp area manager, evaluating a handful of Party City locations between Clairemont Mesa and National City during a brief time span of running errands.
This one seemed better than the others IMO:
— No stacks of shipment boxes visible on the merchandise floor
— Aisles cleared of obstructions
— Multiple registers open and no backed up lines at checkout
— Smiling, helpful store associates
— Ample store space to carry inventory
Good selection of items for your next fun event. They have piñatas too, but I prefer to swing by the barrio tiendas for the authentico hecho en Mexico variety.
We should have shopped here to begin with. Knowing is half the battle.
