Parent Connection Family Swap Meet

The Parent Connection Family Swap meet is awesome for new parents or really anyone with kids! If you like consignment shopping then you will love this sale. It is basically one huge garage sale with everyone who is selling in an assigned space and you go from space to space.
Sellers usually have tons of clothes, books, toys, baby equipment, shoes, etc. Almost all of the sellers are willing to negotiate on price (you can tell they just want to get rid of the stuff).
I will say that it’s a lot of generic brands (Carter’s, Target, etc.) but I have found some cute Baby Gap items here as well and lots of great deals on books. Some people definitely bring things to sell that are too used, clothes with stains, broken toys and things that should have been thrown away. But other people bring really great quality items that are barely used or even sometimes brand new.
At a previous sale we scored a wooden cradle for a fraction of what it would have cost us to buy it on Craigslist.
Bring cash– credit cards aren’t accepted and you pay each seller individually). Also, bring s cart or empty stroller to put your goodies in, it makes it much easier to carry stuff!

Always a fan of this and it grow bigger each year. It is definitely geared more towards younger kids and tons of baby stuff. The best place to go pregnant before you buy everything retail. Great toys and gadgets, new and recycled. Only $ 2 to get it but come early, it goes fast. The line is looong but goes fast since they try to take your money while you are waiting. We still go and my son is $ 10, We go for books and gifts for friends or family babies and little ones. Always nice to have some cute gifts on hand when needed.

This is my 3^rd time at the Parent Connection Swapmeet, however my 2^nd time at this location which is really nice and there’s tons of parking available in the lots. The lines get long to get in if you are not a member I suggest getting there 30mins to and hour before the gates open just to wait in line and get first dibs. Also to walk to the back of the swapmeet first since everyone tends to go to the first booths. Today, I witnessed 2 lines one on each side of the swapmeet. Usually it’s 1 line. It costs $ 2 to get in. There were a ton of people there and I heard the October sale is the biggest and most popular one to shop at before Halloween and the holidays. Vendors sell everything from clothes, shoes, accessories, costumes, room décor, bottles, toys, everything maternity, baby wearing gear, baby gates, backyard play houses, train sets, doll houses, books, DVDs, Melissa & Doug puzzles, art supply, large remote cars, bikes, radio flyers and the list goes on. The prices are great you can find stuff from free boxes to $ 1 clothes to $ 400 big name strollers etc. This time I noticed vendors selling their clothes for $ 3−8each. Most use to sell for $ 1/​$ 2 for name brand lightly used. I even ran into people I know. If you get thirsty or hungry there are a few foodtrucks. Bring water and sunscreen it was so hot today… some vendors are set up under the shade others aren’t so lucky in the sun. Everyone is really nice and it’s always a fun time. Come here first before you shop online or in stores to see if you can score a great deal! Can’t wait for the next one.

This swap meet is awesome. You can rent a spot for $ 10 and bring your items to sell. It’s at a really nice school with a huge parking lot. You can bring whatever you want. A lot of vendors show up. This is the 7^th annual swap meet and it is going to continue. It happens once a year it’s really fun. It happened today 8am-​3pm.
The location is canyon crest academy.

Baby galore!!! =) Was here about a year ago and am finally getting a chance to come back next month for their october sale. I’m so excited. I wish I would have known about this event while I was pregnant, would have saved me tons!
Tons of clothing, toys and books! Great selection of books ($ 1-​$ 3) such as dr seuss, sandra bouyton and more! such great quality. Parking is INSANE! so get there early. Its hard to say what you can find here since it just depends on the sellers. But from what I’ve seen these past years they always seem to have a large selection of yard toys, wagons, handmade accessories for girls.
Tips: bring your reusable bags.
I’ve seen people bring their kids wagons and strollers to carry things as well as those small push carts from the container store. Great idea! They also always have a doubt coffee stand at the front of the line.
Wish they would improve their line set up because when it gets close to opening you get some sneaky people who pretend to go use the portable bathroom or be in line for coffee, and just sneak in right infront of you. Rude!

I remember needing a double jogger when my kids were small and not really having enough money. After all a double jogger on a single income can be overwhelming especially when one factors in diapers, butt wipes, butt goo, new furniture, etc., etc., etc. I got such an incredible deal on a jogger that was practically brand new and came with extra pieces. I used that jogger for years and years until I finally sold it for more than I paid many years later.
You can outfit your children from this Swap Meet for years.
Now I am at the stage where I go to the Parent Connection Family Swap Meet to get rid of stuff rather than buy — circle of product life!

This swap meet is awesome — you can find everything from clothing to snoogles to sandboxes that are of like-​new quality with too-​good-​to-​be-​true second-​hand prices. Heads up on parking: plan to leave early — it gets super competitive by 9 am!
