History

Established in 2010.

Panagopoulos Embry P.C., formerly Panagopoulos Law P.C. was founded in San Diego, California in 2010 by attorney Dimitri Panagopoulos. Prior to starting the law firm, Mr. Panagopoulos served as a court appointed mediator in Arizona, from 2005 until 2010. Additionally, prior to starting the firm, Mr. Panagopoulos served as a criminal investigator at a private detective agency in Arizona where he actively participated in criminal defense investigations in such matters as homicides, burglaries, armed robberies, gang crimes, drug crimes, and other dangerous and serious felony cases.

In 2013, attorney Ben E. Embry joined Mr. Panagopoulos as partner in the firm and Panagopoulos Embry P.C. was formed. Mr. Embry is a well respected, knowledgeable attorney in the community. He limits his practice to the areas of Family Law and Bankruptcy. Before joining the firm he was the associate attorney at one of San Diego’s most well respected Family Law firms.

Dimitri Panagopoulos began his career as an Attorney after spending 15 years as an investigator and legal analyst. Graduating from UNLV’s Greenspun College of Urban Affairs, Criminal Justice Department Dimitri put those credentials to work and founded a detective agency in Arizona that specialized in Serious Felony/​Criminal Investigations, Personal Injury Claims, and Elderabuse Investigations. In the course of doing so, Dimitri developed not only a keen sense of the legal issues facing clients in those areas; but also a solid business model that foster the essential idea that the Client comes first.

After law school at Concord, where Dimitri was honored with the Sue Lane Award, the practice of law was a natural choice for Dimitri

Dimitri Participates in his community in programs such as Rotary, Knights of Columbus, and Coaching Youth Soccer.

Dimitri has had multiple articles published on Business & Corporate matters, and is active in the San Diego County Bar Assoc.
