Started teaching Pilates at UCSD 2011. Started teaching at the Kroc center in La Mesa the same year. Started Paddle Board Pilates in May 2014.

I love paddle board Pilates! Classes with Melinda are a fun work out for people of all skill levels. She is a very knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic teacher. Plus, the sunrises and sunsets on Mission Bay are beyond beautiful!
Class times fit even the busiest of schedules. I paddle out at least once a week! Join us on the water and see what it’s all about!

I highly recommend Paddle Board Pilates with Melinda. I never tried it before and decided to join by the recommendation of my friend and did not disappointed. Enjoy your day with perfect exercise, nice surrounding, and feel great energy and positive emotions — what can be better!
I had very basic Pilates experience before but never felt uncomfortable during the class. Melinda is a great teacher, positive, and patient. She is not only explaining the steps of exercise but will give you an idea on how it will improve your body. I recommended this class to my friends and family before, and they enjoyed this experience as well.

Paddle Board Pilates is fantastic! I love to be on the water, and I love to be active, so the concept of doing SUP pilates just fit in naturally to what I like to do. But if you haven’t done either before — you should definitely give it a try! Melinda is a great teacher, who will break things down if you are new, and is always patient. I don’t have a big pilates background, but within a few minutes, I felt comfortable that I knew and understood what I should be doing. Being on the board adds such that added element — of both balance and just pure fun! Also — getting your exercise in while being on the water and outside and is absolutely lovely! I definitely recommend.
