Oversea Insurance Agency first began servicing boater’s needs in San Diego, CA back in 1978. Since then, we have extended offices to Kona, Hawaii & Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. We are a family run business with 30+ years in the marine insurance industry. Our agency specializes in yacht insurance, both sail & powerboat.

Oversea Insurance Agency is a family owned and run business that was founded in 1978. Scott’s father was the first to begin servicing boat owner’s insurance needs and providing exceptional, specialized yacht insurance service to all clients. Today, Scott continues that legacy by putting his clients’ needs before all else. As a boat owner himself, he understands the unique needs and requests of today’s boat owners. His son, John Jarvie, is providing the same excellent service from his Oversea Insurance location in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
