One Stop Mobile Pet Grooming

** UPDATE **
I did finally receive a response from Dave at One Stop Mobile Pet Grooming (3 months after posting my review). I appreciate his efforts to rectify the situation, but after receiving no call back (he thought they had called me back, but they must have been talking to someone else) and it taking 3 months to get a response to my review, I do not think I will be using the grooming services at this time. I have updated my rating slightly, due to the fact that they did put forth the effort to contact me and offer a discount on future services. I do hope that this business learns from this and going forward this will not happen to other customers. Thank you Dave for reaching out!

We have been going to Dave and Sara for years now and I have nothing but great things to say. My dog is the most happy go lucky little dog… until you start grooming him. That being said, Dave and Sara are ALWAYS so patient with our little guy and go as fast or as slow as he needs. My pup was recently attacked by another dog, Sara was not only extremely understanding, she made sure to take her time to adjust to my little guy’s needs in light of the recent event. As long as we live in San Diego we will always be using these guys. We are VERY lucky that not only does our dog look amazing time and time again, but we can truly trust these people with our little fur baby.

Dave and Sarah are truly one of a kind. Caring, compassionate, meticulous and genuine! They make our golden retriever look and smell so gorgeous, and they carefully accommodate her orthopedic issues so she’s never sore after. She loves them both (but hates baths) which is a testament to the amazing way they have with dogs. They are the only ones we trust to trim our nervous chihuahua’s nails. Today the SAVED us when out golden got skunked! We would never EVER take our dogs to anyone else!

We were on vacation in the area and our lab got into something really sticky and smelly:(Sarah and David came on recommendation from our regular groomer and they saved our day. Thanks Sarah for helping us out on such short notice! You saved our vacation!!!

I had just moved out to San Diego from New York and my dog was way overdue for a grooming. She’s a long haired shepherd with a thick undercoat and it can get out of control quickly! With the move and getting settled she was way overdue.
They were quick to respond to my call and even called on the day of the grooming to see if they could come by earlier as they were running ahead of schedule. They were great with my dog and she has never looked better! They did an awesome job, even better than her regular groomer back in New York. I cannot recommend them enough! I already made my next appointment.

Tried making an appointment and the first response I got was basically telling me they didn’t have the availability to see my dog before even asking me for details on what I needed. Not the best approach to customer service.

Professional, trustworthy, conscientious, knowledgeable, caring, and punctual. Need I say more? Love them!

It’s too bad this business customer service is NOT good. I have called twice and left voicemails with NO return call. Very poor business practice. I was so impressed by the reviews and was happy to have possibly found a great mobile groomer… but no. I worked customer service all my life and would not have kept a job for not returning phone calls.

We absolutely love One Stop Mobile Pet Grooming. Sarah is the best! She is so pleasant and professional and our furry baby always looks so cute after her appointments. You guys are so great! Thank you so much for the gentle care you give to my girls. Baby Girl, Roxy and Lilly look great and I appreciate your kind treatment of them. I know they can be difficult to groom and you take the care to do it with the least amount of stress to them as possible. The cute bandanas were nice too! I give you 5+ stars!!!

Dave and Sarah are the best, working so well with our 13−½ year old dog! They’re so patient and gentle with her, it’s fairly clear to see why they are booked solid so far out. Get on their schedule when they’re available. You will be glad you did because they’re worth the wait!

Where do I start. There are just way too many positive things I can’t wait to share!
1) Well first off, I’d like to point out that I have never been so relieved before in my life. I know I have found the perfect groomer for my little 5 year-​old Bichon/​Poodle mix (Henny). I LOVE One Stop. I mean Dave and Sarah are some of the most wonderful people! They are very accommodating, friendly, and most importantly Sarah is like THE MASTER GROOMER. She is so good!
2) Henny is only 5 year-​old (I think still quite young) but he has TONS of problems in terms of his health. He has back problems, leg problems, hernia, you name it. Sarah is very gentle and she always make sure that Henny is never uncomfortable during the grooming session.
3) I am one of those crazy pet owners where I find the best of the best things for my doggie and after having been through probably 30 groomers in the entire San Diego County (La jolla, North Park, South Park, Hillcrest, Del Mar, Carlsbad etc.) I was never happy with the grooming services that these places provided. Henny always came home exhausted, stressed out. He would get major diarrhea and I know him, I can see that he has been through alot. I have even found a cut on his lower stomach area after a grooming session. I became so paranoid that I would start to research online for hours and watch Youtube videos to try to groom him myself, but I’m not a professional and I don’t have the right tools so of course Henny never really turns out that well when I do it myself but I’d rather do that then take him a groomer. I was soo relieved when I found One Stop and now I know I will never go to another groomer. We are moving soon out of San Diego but since Sarah is so wonderful and the appointments are 6 weeks apart, my bf and I will still make the drive down to SD for Henny to be groomed by her.
4) Another positive thing about One stop is they are a mobile pet grooming service. Which means for you pet owners, your doggies and kitties DON“T HAVE TO WAIT HOURS in the kennel at those stupid grooming salons. Sarah and Dave usually call 20 minutes ahead before scheduled appointment to notify you that they are en route and the grooming session takes less than an hour and Henny is not trapped in a dirty cage for hours.
5) Here’s the run down:
a. You call them up and make an appointment, they are quite popular and busy so the next available appointment might be a little while (BUT ITS WORTH IT TRUST ME)!
b. Once you get your appointment down, you’re good to go. One day before the grooming appointment, Dave (who is awesome and wonderful), calls you to remind you of the appointment.
c. The day of the appointment, Dave or Sarah, whoever your groomer is, will call you about 20 minutes ahead of time to let you know they’re on their way.
d. The pet grooming truck is not too big, it can fit in a regular parking lot, and they are always very accommodating so they will park or move wherever if you live in a complex that has crazy parking restrictions.
e. Then you bring your furry friend out, make sure to give detailed instructions on what you want done and they will let you know how long approximately it will take for the grooming session based on how big your furry friend is. (The grooming package usually includes Wash, Cut, Ear Cleaning, Anal Gland Cleaning, Teeth brushing)
f. Once done, See the transformations yourself. It’s amazing. Sarah is seriously the best groomer. Then they will ask if you would like to get on their 6 week system (AND YOU SAY YES!).
To conclude my super crazy long review, I just want you reviewers to be open-​minded to mobile pet grooming. It’s seriously super wonderful. My little Henny is not-​stressed, and he no longer gets diarrhea after grooming. He is so happy and looks better than ever. If you love your pet child, then One Stop is the place for them.

There are few things worse than having to block out a significant chunk of the day (usually on weekends) to have your pet groomed and overpay someone to butcher their hair. Now that we’ve found One Stop, this will never happen to us again! Our little friend is happy because there are no kennels and we are thrilled because we don’t have to leave the house. We expected to pay more for the convenience of a mobile groomer but were pleasantly surprised at how competitive their prices are compared to a brick and mortar business.
Beyond the basic logistics, Sarah is amazing with animals! We love One Stop!

My dog Lucy is almost 17 years old. She has a hard time getting up off the floor which makes it even harder to take her places. That’s why we needed a mobile groomer. My husband found One Stop and I’m so glad he did! They were so gentle and patient with her. When she was done she looked like a puppy!
We also have a very energetic 7 year old dog and they were able to get her bathed and groomed as well. Both dogs were done in under 2 hours.
They gave me great advice on keeping both dogs looking beautiful. I look forward to having them come for regular visits.

Sarah & Dave are true masters of their craft! I feel completely comfortable knowing my Rufus is getting the best treatment available. The added bonus of them being mobile is they come to you, which is great for Rufus as his old hips don’t let him get around so easily anymore. If you need a groomer try One Stop is the way to go! Great experience. We had our 1 ½ year old maltipoo Bruno groomed by Sara 11÷20÷14. She gave him the lamb clip and it was perfect. Defiantly would recommend them to anyone

I went on the hunt for a mobile groomer after it became evident that my kind and gentle senior cat is actually part Jaguar if you try to trim his claws. I don’t know if its an injury or trauma, but my mellow old man gets really upset when you try to trim them down, and requires either a vet visit or 2 of my friends and a beach towel to come over and help me.
I contacted One Stop to try and set something up for them to come to my home to trim his claws, because I felt so guilty trying to trim them myself. It was like I was traumatizing him! I knew it was time to call in professionals.
These lovely people came over and after meeting my cat, scooped him up and trimmed his nails like the pros they are. They stayed calm, so he stayed (relatively) calm. After we were done he moved away but he didn’t even hide which is a testament to One Stop. I will be using them every time my guy needs his claws trimmed from now on, and I will suggest them to friends.

One Stop Pet Grooming is the BEST in San Diego!!! Look no further… Sarah and Dave are patient, friendly, gentle, and treat your dog with loving care. Having a groomer that you can trust is so important and such a huge relief for me.
Daisy used to shake in fear and I would have to drag her through the groomers door… now it’s not a problem. They’re great people, who truly love animals. The most awesome part is NO CAGES! I love that they don’t use any cages or restraints, you get to be right in the truck while they groom your dog, how cool is that! Being in the truck while she’s being groomed makes Daisy feel more safe and comfortable.
Thanks for making Daisy look so pretty! I book a regular appointment and they always send me a text reminder, which is very nice. I highly recommend Sarah & Dave @ One Stop!

We used One Stop for the first time today, and it was a great experience from beginning to end. This was my first time using a mobile groomer, and I’ll never go back to schlepping my dog to the groomer!
My dog is very elderly and has a lot of mobility issues due to age and having several large tumors. Sarah and Dave were very gentle with her and did a great job of getting her looking and smelling great!
