I have to say that Elizabeth Wilks and the rest of the OfficeTeam really helped me out in a bad time. I was having a rough couple of years in terms of finding employment but within weeks of signing up with OfficeTeam they found me a job at a great software company. Elizabeth was my representative and was with me every step of the way — encouraging and congratulating me while checking in regularly to make sure I was okay with my job.
I don’t want to overdue it but I finally felt things were going to work out.

I really enjoy working with Office Team, they really do put in the effort to match what your looking for. When I applied for the Office Team within a month or less they found me a job, they contacted me right away. I have had bad experiences with other agencies, where they will contact me two months after having a sit down meeting.
Once you apply with them, they contact you right away have a sit down meeting to learn more about you and what your looking for. The process was really easy and if you had any trouble they were really helpful and easy to contact them.
The Robert Half Office Team is very professional, I highly recommend it. Thank to them I found a job where I enjoy coming to.

Robert Half Office Team is a very professional agency. I have only been on one assignment so far, but I have been sent multiple of opportunities. If your looking for agency who is care about finding employment for you and also easy to communicate with… this is the agency!!!

I don’t know why people have had such bad luck with OfficeTeam. My experience with working with them has been nothing but positive. As soon as I uploaded my resume, someone immediately contacted me for an interview and placement. I was ultimately placed in a temp for hire position at a company thanks to the Downtown branch. Thanks to them, I worked at a wonderful office for four years.
I credit my being able to find work through this temp agency. I’ve tried to work with other companies such as Kelly Services, Appleone, and TLC Staffing and none of them gave me the time of day. And this was after sending in my resume, emailing them directly, applying for jobs through their website, and trying to call their offices. OfficeTeam at least sat down with me and gave me a chance to explain what I was looking for.
I highly, highly recommend if you are looking for office work to give Office Team a chance. I recommend them to all my friends!

I signed up for officeteam in February. I did check in mostly by email just about every week. I told them i needed something asap. I got rude emails and calls saying i wasn’t checking in. But i was. I even called and emailed them my new number the day i got it.
I mentioned i didn’t have a computer. And was told i needed to fix my resume but nothing else. I repeated that i had no computer and they acted like they didn’t know.
I got nothing job wise until the beginning of April. They made it seem like it was a definite hire position. Something that would include a higher rate of pay after I’d be hired on. So I accepted it. But then when i got there I quickly learned that this hire position would take years to get hired on.
So i called and asked about a pay rate increase. They kinda got rude and said basically it’s what I agreed to and if i didn’t like it they’d refill it with someone else. So i did it. But continued to look elsewhere for a job.
Overall, very unhappy with the level of customer service and honesty. I was trying to get a job, i didn’t expect the rudeness over and over again.
I’ve worked with other locations of the Robert Half company. This one does not do it justice.
Only reason they get two stars is because i put in notice on a Wednesday and by Friday they had a replacement and i didn’t have to speak to them again. Its mostly due to the ease of being able to walk away.

I signed this branch of OfficeTeam a year ago and they only found me two jobs in the interim, despite my two master’s degrees, one from the University of Chicago. The first job, about midway through, was a one or two week gig as a receptionist at a car dealer (which I had to turn down due to other obligations). The second was a temp-​to-​hire low-​grade administrative job at a university replacing someone with only a high school diploma. The person’s cubicle in which I worked was so dirty that it gave me allergy attacks that led to a severe migraine around lunchtime on the third day, from which I could barely move when I went home at lunch to recover. I sent my supervisor an e-​mail explaining, but I was so incoherent with pain that I could communicate no further. OfficeTeam called me to say I was let go about an hour later. I went to the ER that night and was in the hospital for two days. I still have yet to get the items I left at the office back, which they said they could get for me. Neither they nor my employers showed any concern for my health, and I never received any breaks other than lunch while employed. My employers lied and said I was taking an hour and a half lunch breaks the first two days, and OfficeTeam believed them and docked my salary. Finally, they demanded that I give them a five star review on Unilocal as soon as I had successfully interviewed for the second job.
I am very disappointed because I had a quite successful experience with the OfficeTeam in Allentown, PA, and with LaSalle temporary services in Chicago.

All I have to say is their service sucks. I have sent my resume three times, and one has called me back. I mean at least they should write back to let me know whether they can help or not.

I’ve worked with DT OfficeTeam for a couple of years now and they have always offered great job opportunities for me. They do a really great job with responding and situating you well by your level of experience and interest. Prior to working at my current job I had an unfortunate experience working for the City of San Diego (not through OfficeTeam) and contacted OfficeTeam immediately for a new job placement. They were able to place me within 1 – 2 weeks after resigning from the City job. OfficeTeam was and is very supportive and clearly shows once you meet with them in person or by phone. There are great opportunities for everyone in this company.
Previously at my current job with OfficeTeam, I was filling in for a woman on maternity leave that was only a temporary position. Fortunately, this company I work with appreciated my hard work and decided to bring me on permanently to their team. I was thrilled especially since it was not a temporary to hire position. OfficeTeam placed me exactly where I fit in and I have never felt so comfortable and respected in a work environment.

I recently used Office Team Downtown San Diego to staff a conference for our organization. Jason was responsive, helpful and sourced a great team of people to help us throughout the conference. In 15 years of Human Resources I have never had such a smooth process when finding and placing a team of temps. Office Team and Jason (Beth too) made the process a great one and our conference team could not be happier!

Office Team is great! The process was very easy and Juan set me up with an awesome job in a field that I told him I preferred. He also touches base with me every week to see how my assignment is going and if I am still enjoying it. Juan is always available if I have any questions. He and his partner Jason are wonderful.

After moving downtown from North County, I decided to check out Office Team. My husband had worked with Robert Half’s tech branch before and had a really great experience with them. I started working with Juan and Jason in April, and so far they have not disappointed.
I recently left a temp to hire position because it just didn’t seem like the right fit for me. Juan was immediately available for me to talk to. He and Jason were able to find a replacement for the assignment within a week. They seem to really care about both their clients AND their candidates, just be willing to work hard and communicate. I am now on my third assignment with them, and am very happy.

I am very happy with Office Team. They were very nice, welcoming and helpful from the first time they contacted me, specially Jason and Kelly.
I have been working in a project in the field that I wanted and in the type of company I wanted. They also did follow up with me while working at the assigned company to make sure that I was happy there and check if I had any concerns.
They have been a huge help and I will keep working with them in the future.

I agree with most other reviewers. They wasted my my time. I initially spoke with a representative at another location as a reference for my coworker. The representative said they would like to represent me and i was open to it because my coworker was placed rather quickly. However i always had to follow up with that representative when the assigned representatives were not getting back to me and then they would follow up. My last experience was I emailed two representative 2 weeks ago and they did not even have to common decency to get back to me. I do not feel like I should have to email you and you counter part and then follow up with calls as well. I thought it was a team effort to get people placed, but I guess i was wrong.

I’ve worked with OfficeTeam in the past with good results. Not the case with the downtown branch. They will not return my phone calls or e-​mails. Don’t waste your time with these people.

Not very good. I went here and tested and interviewed and was told there was some openings, but i never got a call from them.
Someone from a different office team office called and said they would send my resume to an employer for a temp assignment they had and never heard back from them either.
Other staffing agencies are usually more on top of things. Felt like my interview/​testing was a waste of time.

HORRIBLE! I have been back and forth with these people about a paycheck I never received for over a year now. I have several emails from them promising payment, but still nothing has been received. Now, I have to go to court to fight it out. These people are idiots!

Five Stars for being the best temp agency in town.
Both Kelly and Liz at the Downtown Office Team rocked. I have been to several other temp agencies in San Diego, including most of the big ones… and I have to say that between the downtown office and the La Jolla office, this group BY FAR worked the hardest for me. After a 6 month break, I went and re-​registered with them, and they still had all of my tests on file. While the testing process may be a bit long, it does help them place you accurately. It was just a short interview to get familiar with my goals, and then they were off! I got a phone call the same day from Kelly, and several more over the next week or so. I also started getting emails right away from other offices. You can use their website to find jobs, and you get a quick response when you apply. One of the things that I liked most was that they were pretty honest with me about what I did and did not qualify for. They seem to know the employers really well, and can tell if you would be a good fit or not. Really… the job market is tough right now. I’m well qualified, and it has still been tough. Register with these professional recruiters, and they will do much of the hard work for you!
It took them about 2 weeks, and they found me a great position that may be full time one day.

Another waste of time temp service. Made an appointment, tested for two hours, and was then told that I was only eligible for file clerk jobs! WTF! I’ve been an administrative assistant for over 30 years, and was making $ 22 with San Diego City Schools.
No temp services for me!

When I moved here, I immediately set up an interview with Officeteam, as we have them back east and I had a good impression of them.
My overall experience here in San Diego was middle of the road. Nothing was wrong with it but nothing was great about it either. I was left waiting a long time to get interviewed, which was kind of annoying, but the receptionist stayed on top of the guy and kept me posted, which was impressive and appreciated. I was left waiting again after I tested for a while, which really annoyed me because I was so tired from all the tests, but again the receptionist was very on top of the situation. I was there for almost 2 hours, between interviewing and testing. I was pretty exhausted by the end of it but wanted to get it all done at once.
The man who interviewed me was friendly, apologetic about both waits and honest — he was straightforward about expected pay and positions and I really appreciated that. He seemed a little long-​winded at times, but overall it was a pleasant interview. I felt we got along well and he read me well, which is most important. He seemed helpful and available.
I was offered to interview to be a receptionist at Robert Half (Officeteam’s parent company) but was waiting to hear back on a much better job so passed it up. They then called a week later to offer me a job but I had accepted said position already so I never found out what the offer was, despite some phone tag between me and the recruiter to do just that. So, I guess two offers in a week is good, but at least one of the positions was way under my skill level and I’m sure the pay was nominal. In this economy I was hardly surprised and couldn’t hold it against them. I was aiming for an administrative level II or III position. I ended up in an entry-​level admin job but the pay is decent and its a permanent position so I get benefits soon. And there’s some room for growth, so hopefully I can move up to something more challenging. I competed against 20+ other people for the job, which tells you how dire the economy really is right now.
So, again, overall not blown away but certainly not turned off and couldn’t say anything negative. If I could give them a 3.5 I would. If I found myself looking for work again (knock on wood that I’m not!) I would definitely reactivate my account with them.
