Joe is great, had a failure of the video card on one of my office computers, he replaced the video card with the new one in minutes and charged me an incredibly reasonable price.

Joe is awesome. I e-​mailed him because my computer had some serious issues. It is a 7-​year-​old Sony Vaio laptop that was running Windows 7 Pro. I had done a lot of trouble-​shooting myself on issues like not being able to network to my other laptops, not being able to install any software or updates, and its super-​slow speed, without luck. He called me soon after and offered to pick up my computer from my house as he was already on the road. He also told me over the phone that he could have it ready in 24 hours before he had even looked at it. He later checked it out for free and called me to tell me exactly what was wrong with it (I was missing some critical coding somehow and I had a ton of malware and spyware). He offered to not only fix my issues, but also to update my computer to Windows 8.1 (I had to buy the license of course). THEN he called me to tell me that he had even added memory to my computer FOR FREE because he had some extra memory sticks lying around, and offered us a military discount ($ 75) because my husband’s in the service. He offered to drop my laptop off the next morning. It now works like a dream. It’s fast and up-​to-​date, networks to my printer and my other laptops, and best of all, the expensive photo-​editing and music-​editing software I have accumulated over time is still there.

I know it seems pricey, but he is trustworthy, fast, diligent, and his work comes with a 1-​year warranty, which was all far less expensive than buying a new laptop and software. Joe’s hard work and dedication is what the American spirit is all about.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Ocean Computers (Joe Mannion). I suffered a serious Windows failure that caused corruption on my PC disk that prevented it from booting. To make matters worse I did NOT have a recent backup. I did not know if I was going to be able to recover data on the system or not. Worse, the failure happened on a Sunday afternoon.
I sent an emergency email to Ocean Computers asking for emergency help. Joe Mannion called me back within 30 minutes and conducted a verbal Q&A with me to try and diagnose my problem. We determined that I would need to bring this to his location for diagnostics and potential repair. I drove down and was able to meet Joe and drop off my machine within an hour of speaking to him (Sunday at 6pm).
Joe called me back within a couple of hours on Sunday evening to give me the good news… while my Windows7 system was in fact corrupted, Joe was able to recover all of my data and was going to re-​install my system and provide it back to me the next day in working order. He also gave me a firm quote for the cost to repair the machine which was very reasonable. And true to his commitment he contacted me the next morning and let me know that my machine was working and ready to pick up.
My machine is now working better than before the crash and Joe was helpful in following up with some remote configuration support for a few applications that needed to be reinstalled. I now have my machine configured where Joe can remotely connect in (securely) if/​when I need it to fix any other configuration or application issues.
In summary, Ocean Computer is one of the most responsive and competent computer repair and maintenance companies I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend Joe and his business for any repairs no matter how complex.

Took pictures for my daughter’s birthday and when I went to download the pictures, I got the error that my SD card needed to be reformatted. I thought the pictures would be gone forever. Took the card to Geek Squad and they said there was nothing we could do. Called Joe just to doublecheck and he said no problem, just drop the card off. Within 4 hours of dropping off the card, he had downloaded the pictures. He even uploaded it to a cloud for me to get the pictures that same day. I will definitely be calling him again. He is great at communicating too. Can’t recommend enough! Will be referring friends and other small businesses.

Let me start by saying that my husband and I both are the «Fred Flintstones» of the computer age. Therefore, we heavily rely on the IT industry for help. We have dealt with incompetent, unresponsive computer techs for years. I was fortunate enough to find Joe Mannion, owner of Ocean Computers and we couldn’t be happier. It’s been about a year that he has serviced our needs and without fail, every single time we call him, he jumps into action immediately. He has handled everything from our entire home networking system to helping me with trivial IPod issues. Never has he told me no, even when it’s the most ridiculous of problem that I know is operator error. Joe is as good as it gets. My mother’s computer was attacked by an awful virus and it was time to get her a new one. But we didn’t need anything with all the bells and whistles as she literally gets on the computer to check her email and surf the net. We had a terrible experience with Best Buy where we ordered her a computer and after a week of ordering it, they hadn’t even shipped it yet — and worse, they were unhelpful, rude and completely frustrating to work with. So, we cancelled our order and called Joe. He had an instant solution and came over to her house personally to deliver a new computer. He also was able to set up remote access so that next time she has issues, she can call him personally and he’ll be able to log on from anywhere and help her fix the issue. Joe is a problem solver, a wonderful business man and just a good all around person. I’m thrilled that we found him. Thank you, Joe for your kindness and support. Having a bunch of problems with my mac so i called Ocean computers. Joe was ready to help. Gave me a full diagnosis if my macbook pro. Wine and Laptops don’t mix! Spilling my glass of wine onto my keyboard shorted out several very important keys… DUH. I tried UNSUCCESSFULLY to deal with Dell myself… what a mistake! I resorted to carrying around an extra keyboard to solve my problem.
When Joe saw this he was appalled .“let me order the part & fix this for you!” Within the next week the part arrived was fixed by Joe in record time.

My livelihood depends on my computer. I’m an independent contractor and work from home. I don’t make a penny when my computer is down. I found Joe when my computer crashed on a Saturday. I was hysterical. I called 5 companies and Joe was the only one that called me back the same day. He called me back within an hour and had my copmuter up and running by Monday AM. He is reliable and bends over backwards to help. I’m so lucky I found him. I recently called him again for a different problem and, he called back within 30 minutes. I’ve been going to Joe for over a year now and can’t thank him enough. My laptop crashed while out of town on work and when I returned he brought it back to life with updated software in one day! Then my printer wasn’t working and he logged in remotely and figured out the driver issues in less than 10 minutes. Joe has exceptional hardware and software skills and top notch customer service. He did a four day job (4 me) in an hour. Set all four of our computers on a secure wireless network along with setting them up to print wirelessly on the main printer.

I found Joe last week on Unilocal when my computer caught a horrible Marware Virus and crashed. I initally called the Geek Squad thinking they would be the best guys for the job. Boy was I wrong. After staying on hold with the Geek Squad for 15 minutes, only to be transfered to another call center. I decieded to give Joe a call and try out Ocean Computers. I explained my computer issue to Joe and he knew exactly what Virus I had! He arrived at my office within minutes (I work at a plastic surgeons office and time was important in this matter). Joe took a look and ended up taking my computer overnight. Worried, he comforted me and explained that he would be able to recover everything for me.
